This application was done in Nigeria and has been pending since 2020. Currently I am based in the UK. I had to send an email to Canadian embassy here in the UK and they responded within 31 days. The event I am attending is next week Sunday so I need to get the passport stamped timely to enable me up with the event

Thank God finally I have gotten approval. I have been asked to submit my passport. Do anyone how long it will take to get a feedback after submitting my passport here in the UK??

Dear House, Please what is the meaning of this correspondence letter.?? I just saw this today.
I applied for a visiting visa since 2020
And it has been pending all this while.
Just today I noticed they updated the above letter after I sent an email to Canadian embassy here in the UK where I currently based informing them that I will be attending my youngest brother wedding coming up 29th of April 2023.
I requested that they should take over my application because of my current location and address. Please anyone with similar experience. I presumed they are working on it

I applied for a visiting visa to Canada since February 2019 and am yet to get a response. I have a younger brother that has been in Canada for over 6years now. Last month I uploaded a web form which I attached my brothers ID and my Covid-19 card. The only response I got was that the application is in Nairobi and that these documents will be updated on my application. Please should I cancel this application Please advise

I earlier mentioned that I submitted a visitor visa since February 27, 2020 to visit my younger brother in Canada but the status is still showing pending
I know that due to the covid19 pandemic the visitor visa was suspended which am aware they just resumed this September 2021
Please I want to find out if I need to resubmit a web form or I should still hold on?
Although my brother is not yet a PR. He is currently using a work Visa and resides there for over 6years

Whats your brother status in Canada?
Did he send you an invitation letter?

You will need some documents from him, and his status might determine if you qualify to reapply or maybe you would have to wait it out

Not yet a permanent resident. He works there own a house too.
He sent me an invitation letter with his ID card attached

I will advise you wait mine is since February 2020 no response after I have completed my biometric. The delay is due to the covid-19 issues
