Airtel are SCAMMERS IN CHIEF..have anybody noticed that there 500MB Night Plan is more like 350MB unlike MTN's full 500MB..I would always take whatever they advertise with a pinch of salt.. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

I've got to take you up on this. While I believe that the Airtel guys are a bunch of ineffectual buffoons, your submission is not true. Airtel 500mb night plan is complete to the very last drop. (and about 5-12mb more sometimes).
MTN on the other hand is about 498MB max. I know because I use a very accurate data manager.
Your grievance may be as a result of using UC browser to download. They are notorious for gulping down data for nothing. Sometimes up to 100mb as in my case. I would have blamed the network provider had my data Manger not revealed UC browser as the culprit.

OP, you didn't do your research well. There's nothing wrong with it just that it didn't match your use.

Problem is many people think if they go for expensive phones from big companies then they have everything (that's how I was even though I'm in tech). But after careful study of the tech market, it became clear that even the smaller companies are using the same hardware components like SoCs, memory, camera and antenna technologies etc.

That's why I left mainstream phone companies.
Was a Nokia user and my last Nokia was N92. Then I moved to iPhone 4, then 5 and to 5S.

From there I changed to android, Samsung S3 then LG G2, then G3 (which I still have as emergency backup) then LG V10 (which lasted just 6 months before bootlooping).

I bought the Huawei Mate 9 in January and I've not regretted.
Right now, I'm waiting for Mate 10.

Samsung, LG, iPhone, BB are no more in my plans.

Huaweis, ZTEs, Oppos, OnePlus are all overlooked but they are good if not better due to their value for money.

It's not a matter of not using Android phone again. It's about being smart enough to know the specs of a phone you want to buy, compare prices, reviews and specs and then go for the best deal.
I've been using an Opsson p9 since 2016 January till date. No cracked skin or any major issue.
Next time do your research well.

I hit 1.3MB couple of days ago. In broad daylight for that matter. Before I could just drop phone pickam back, 350mb Don enter.
The only downside to glo is that they don't have that NGN 25 for 500mb night data

Unremovable batteries are the worst for falling into water. My opsson p9 phone got into hot water. I quickly removed the battery and sunned it for 6 days. It was raining season so I careful not to enter from frying pan to fire or water in the case. I even used a light bulb to dry it indoors too if it was raining. It finally dried out. That's what I'm using to comment sef. Recession dey. Phone done cost.

I just kukuma comot the sim. Then switch to airtel NGN 300/1gb. Que all my downloads at night with airtel/mtn combo of NGN 50/1gb for both Sims. Glo was introduced to punish Nigerians.

All his lies come in bundles of twos and three so I'm not surprised.

There are better ways of expressing your grievances than insulting your elders and your country unnecessarily. People you have never gotten to a fraction of where they are in life. You don't even know where your life would lead. I say give respect to whom it is due. I can bet you won't win the case against UNILAG in court. How come you are now so eager to return under the tutelage of the institution and lecturers you described in your rant. My advice to this dude is, seek admission in another University (that's if they'll accept you)

check out the Adds that are sent to your phone... they are all related to your chat history. so "uncle Sam is watching you!"

I made a discovery I consider shocking . I noticed that if I turn my phone's, data on my GPS automatically turns on immediately. I did some snooping around and investigated the matter. I thought it was an app I installed that was responsible. I noticed similar Complaints online. And a few of them diagnosed the problem as a network carrier (SIM) problem. I decided to test the hypothesis. When I did, it became a theory. The Glo Sim was responsible. I tried it with my Airtel and the GPS was still off. To make sure my phone wasn't the culprit, I took it a step further, found someone with a MTK chipset android phone like mine who is using a Glo Sim and checked. Lo and behold, no sooner was the data turned on than the GPS came on automatically.
If you use a Glo Sim, please check if it does the same thing on your Android phone (whether it is mtk chipset or not). We must stop this intrusion into our personal lives.
