I'm on this table. Towards end of 2017, bought this seemingly "cheap" phone Oukitel K6000+ (nice specs with very good battery) for N22,000 inclusive shipping. Sometime last year the phone just shutdown & all efforts to bring it back to life failed as most technicians I took the phone to didn't have the software.

Forgot to mention that the phone dropped & had a cracked screen, which was still working except the fingerprint scan until it suddenly shut down. Even getting the screen replaced locally was a problem as it was unavailable in shops.

The phone is somewhere I don't even know again sef

I've got the same phone with just a burnt motherboard. No thanks to the huge voltage charger. If your motherboard is still OK, can we discuss a trade?

Try these steps first before u certify it dead, use another charger brick with the original recommendation of 12v 2a with a solid cable to charge it, with the wrong charge current u might have been under charging the battery, if u get to see the indicator light then u're safe. Secondly, hold down the power button and then insert ur charger cable and see if you notice anything. Thirdly and finally try a recovery by pressing the power button and the volume up together at once, if it can boot into recovery then do a hard reset, u will lose all files and settings

Thanks for your recommendations. I would implement them ASAP. I'm still using the original 5/7/9/12V 2A fast charger and was using it when it happened. I would look for another charger and try again. Thank you very much

My oukitel k6000 plus suddenly went dead while I was charging it. No boot, no vibration, no charging. Just nothing. Dead just like that. What can I do to resurrect it please?

But disabling Google Services ( especially those embedded in android system apps) might hamper the smooth flow of your device.

Nope! Not at all. I've been doing it since I started using android. I've grown to use my phones completely without them. Many people are surprised to hear its even possible. Try it for a month and install a data manager and notice how much your data and battery life will improve.

Go to 'developer options' and turn it on. If you cant find it go to 'about phone' and click on 'build number' until it says "you are now a developer" . Then turn off 'stay awake - screen will never sleep while charging'

Simple diable all Google apps. Play store, services especially, Gmail, YouTube, maps etc. Everything Google should go then see your data last till the last day. Use third party apps instead.

The only real thing in the phone is the battery. RAM Is 2gb. ROM is 32gb. Edited to look otherwise. Buy at your own risk. So many fake Chinese brands nowadays.

Activate data saver. Disable all Google apps on your phone. Install a data manager to monitor the culprit.

My Doogee X5 Max Pro came with quite a few. But I eventually rooted the idiot and blocked/unistalled unnecessary apps then installed a firewall and that was the end of it. Ironically, many people do not not realize that Google Gapps apps are all malwares too. From Google play store to Google play services, YouTube, maps, Gmail, music, etc. I just uninstall or disable them permanently immediately I get a new phone. And my data last like kí lóde.
