Fifteen-month-old Amira died following an ISIS shelling in her neighbourhood. Heartbreaking pictures show her distraught father, Omar Ali, mourning her death. She was killed after a strike on the al-Tahrir neighbourhood. Amira’s lifeless body was carried by her uncle after she was killed in a mortar shelling.

Amira suffered a fatal wound to her head, and would never know what life was like free from ISIS.

A nurse who spotted a man collapsed after having a heart attack in the street, stopped to help despite being heavily pregnant .The mum-to-be Zhou Qing performed CPR on the man as a large crowd gathered around to watch, including a small child who is standing at the front.

Footage shot on a mobile phone show Mrs Qing, who is seven months pregnant , kneeling on the ground and pumping on the man’s chest in a desperate bid to keep his heart pumping.

The man starts to come round and his eyes and foot start to move.Mr Qing then needs help to stand after her tireless effort to bring the man round.

He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Governor Nyesom Wike in the early hours of (Saturday) today mobilised to stop alleged attempt by men of the Department of State Security, DSS, and the Police to abduct a Judge at his number 35/84 B residence, Forces Avenue, Port Harcourt.

The governor who fielded questions from newsmen in front of the Judge’s residence said he was manhandled by men of the DSS and the Police who came to whisk the judge away.

Crying out over alleged threat to his life, Governor Wike said:
“What has happened this night is unfortunate. Even in military government it has never happened like this , you listen to people. This is why we are here. I said not under my watch will I allow this type of activity take place.

“The DSS, Police they cocked their guns and said they will shoot me. And I told them I have never heard this type of thing happen before. Again this is to show that more of this will come.”

Wondering why the security men will choose 1am to storm the residence of the judge, the governor said their action portend danger for the nation’s democracy.
He said all he expected the security men to have done was to invite the judge, adding that if he had ignored the invitation then other legal steps should have been taken.

People from the nearby town woke up only to see their river being turned to blood. This event took place in Russia, see the shocking photos.



This is one of the northern Russia cities called Norilsk. The river has a tricky name Daldikhan and not so many people in the world knew about it until this happened. Over the night the water in it changed its color to bloody red.

It looks like the Nile from the book of Exodus in the Bible or as one of the last days signs’ from the Revelations. For now no one knows the cause of the horrifying change. People in the city are scared.

They do not know if the water they buy or get in the tubes is safe to drink or even touch. They certainly feel like those ancient Egyptians during the time Moses has performed his miracles.



Some suspect the blood color of the river is produced by pollution. There is a large plant where they dig and purge nickel found near the city and it pours down the wastes right into the river.

According to a post on Facebook on Sunday, September 11, by the JTF fighters, both boys who are from Nguro Soye under the Bama local government confessed to killing 35 people in one the Boko Haram raids on Bama.



The younger one claimed to have killed 32 people in the attack, while the older one claimed he killed 3 people. The JTF urged residents to be vigilant even in Maiduguri.

“Fellow compatriots, as you celebrate the Eid-El-Kabir, I salute your steadfastness in spite of the difficult economic times the country is going through.

The lessons of the Eid are piety and sacrifice and, my dear brothers and sisters, you have exhibited these in equal measure.

The present recession is as a result of cumulative effects of worldwide economic downturn and failure in the past to plan and save for difficult times. It is impossible to separate the present from the past to appreciate the extent to which mistakes of the past are affecting everyday life today.

I assure you that this administration is working round the clock to remove the hardship the country is going through. Rail and road construction, projects in the housing sector, support for farmers and for small and medium scale industries, youth and women’s empowerment programmes, support for revival of industries are all designed to reinvigorate the economy and enhance living standards of ordinary people.”

While noting that his administration is getting security right and stopping corruption in its tracks, Buhari is confident that the government will get the economy right – by the grace of God.

“I enjoin Muslims to live by the dictates of Islam, to keep good relationships with their Christian brothers and sisters and as patriots to maintain the spirit of the Nigerian nation,” he said.

Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose, has expressed hope that the country would be great again as he urge all to adhere to the tenets of peace, perseverance, tolerance, peace and love for one another as preached by Islam. Fayose in his congratulatory message to Muslims on the celebration of the Eid-el-Kabir urged Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration and ask God to give them the inspiration, wisdom and knowledge to lead the country.

Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were supposed to have taken over the streets in Okugbe, Okpella, Estako East local government area, clashing with supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The source said that the security at the divisional police post in Okpella have been stunned by the youths who may have possibly gone out of control, destroying cars and other property belonging to supporters of APC.

According to the source, the youth came out in their numbers to forcefully break out some suspected PDP hoodlums arrested by the police from the cell. The crisis may be connected to the Thursday’s shift of Edo state governorship poll by the main electoral body. The postponement came as security services and Nigeria Police Force have on September 7, Wednesday, advised the INEC to shift the governorship election, quoiting security concerns as the reason for the request.

Paris Saint-Germain were willing to spend €190million to land Neymar in the transfer window, according to one of the Barcelona star’s representatives.

Wagner Ribeiro claims the French champions had also put together a deal which would have seen Neymar earn approximately €767,000 (£650,000) a week.

PSG deny both claims but Ribeiro insists Barca rejected the offer and instead persuaded Neymar to sign a new five-year contract.

“He was very close to joining PSG. There he would have earned €40m a year, free [after tax]. PSG were ready to pay the buy-out clause of €190m,” Ribeiro told ESPN Brasil.

“Neymar was also close to a move to Manchester United. But he renewed his contract for less money with Barcelona, because he wanted to stay in Barcelona.”

A PSG source denied Ribeiro’s claim in L’Equipe, however, telling the French daily: “It’s totally false.

“With employer contributions on top, that salary would have cost more than €60m a year. It’s obscene. Neymar used us to strengthen his hand with Barcelona.”

Neymar joined Barca from Santos in 2013 in a controversial deal and has gone on to win two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey twice and the Champions League in 2015.

The 24-year-old’s contract in Catalonia, which runs through to 2021, has a €200m buyout clause after the first year, rising to €222m the following year and €250m by 2019.
