Work closes 31th and we resume back in earnest this weekend while we continue work fully next week |
Happy New year Thanks for following
|
Chekitaut:Copy that. Thanks |
Chekitaut:Sir, I don't advice anyone to use hand ooo cos hand can never do the vibration well like the machine designed for it. The worse term scenario it shouldn't be used more than for a small portable bungalow. I disagree on this, using hands isn't good enough and perhaps the KN of the block done by a machine is definitely different from the ones made by mere human hand. We are on same page bro |
Takoro13:To the best of my understanding sir, 27 is the set standard but if you can maintain 30 it's fair but best do the 27. I've seen 55per bag before and 120 per 2bags which is very bad. 30 is cool n fair. |
mufutau55:Smiles! Ok sir. |
tevanso:Well said. 1. Soil test might be needed per the soil topography to know the soil bearing capacity before anything can be done and will be required at it best to get a good structural engineer. 2. The strength of blocks differs by sizes and production. 3. If you will be having a decking on the walls like the building a storey rise and you want 6inches by force, I will advice to use a good strong 9inches block for all exterior walls and all interior walls which BEAMS will pass through to the next column per each panel of the building. 6inches can be used where NO BEAM pass through either load bearing and non load bearing respectively. 4. Always try to do the needful, it might take time and cost alot but you won't regret it for once when it's well handled and done by a professional hand (Sound Architect/Structural engineer). One of my clients once want us to reduce standard cos it's seem high for but we persist we can't bend the Unrivaled Quality, the client might choose to hold on then at worse term scenario. It's a quack engineer or Architect that will tell u to use 12mm rods for storey rise. Y16 might be recommended per what you wanna raise and Y20 are sometimes needed in beams per the design. I can recommend Y12 rods for bungalow without Pent, if wealthy enough buy TMT and if you want less but good ones then go for the best local irons which I know to be LCI. Good morning and Happy last Monday in year 2018. Happy New year in advance |
I like this Chekitaut |
tevanso:Exactly! You got this right. Another thing is to divide the supervision and engineering fee into two or less. |
Chekitaut:Lol, that's people for you. It's just like a building that collapse in Lekki, tho handle by fraudulent engineers which have been challenged, it was found out to have used Y8 rebars for decking. Tho we currently have same challenge on site as the client now want the void slabbed which we tried to convince him then cos of his land which is very small so he can have an upper family lounge which he refused but now want it done. New column (s) are always needed for such depending on the building structure. |

DAY 2 More... 1200mm cartilever for the gallery.... Spacious living room...
|
DAY 2. Progress When it's young, morning shot
|
Hi Dennis3D:The range is cool in respect of the factor added per design and room sizes but the topography of the land shouldn't be left out, the 1.8m will be achieved if the land is dry using pad and strip foundation and when savings is been done. The last 4bedroom duplex foundation with German cost 1.75m taken all the factors you mentioned and the one I included. Nice one mate. |
What we started achieving in half day
|
Removing of probs in the respect. The 1200mm cartilever for the living room gallery... Everything done to standard...Quiet marvelous. Pictures shows evidences and we don't bend standard no matter what.

Happy Christmas to all our followers and thanks for following

darenyx:I support what Juell said to remove dimension if at all you wanna screenshot the plan at all. I do have similar issues atimes when someone will show up and ask for a particular plan of a 3D seen here on Nairaland which belongs to another client, I don't give it out cos most times I found a way to speak with them and convince them but if my effort is futile I go back to my CAD and edit all dimensions leaving only overall external dimension in case he wanna see if it can fit his plot...that becomes a sketch and not a working drawing again. What he has done worse pass to have come online posting that, that's plagiarism... "A client plan is his privacy" Who knows who is who. Merry Christmas everyone. Mufutau55 hajji I rep you for good job on this thread to have thought then on creating this. God bless |
