Katier00: I laugh at the level of your stupidity. Superior argument my foot. So that man got bent like that within a year. Your moronic brain couldn't point to you, that it was a gradual process. I used to be 6ft tall and now I am 5ft 11 yet am not even 30 years of age. Oga facts and figure, stop displaying your foolishness on nairaland. U said what? I'm confused pls. Not up to 30yrs and have dropped from 6 to 5_11? Perhaps I don't think height of man reduces...that buhari n saraki's pix isn't right... buhari of 6-4 can't drop so fast like that can't even drop... One thing I know is that old age makes one shrink like head to reduce, body etc but not height. At this I was confused when I saw this this morning so got a confirmation from a Dr. Thanks. Very view tho...no vex oo |

Daboomb: What kind of talk is this?
"To YOU" it is not expensive. "To YOU" it is normal price.
When did "YOU" become a yardstick for judging what is normal or expensive or a benchmark?
and then you negated yourself by saying some charge more, some same or some less? What exactly are you trying to say? If you have nothing to say about a question, you can just skip it.
If you want to benchmark price, you would use the price of contractors in that field, NOT YOUR PERSONAL FEELINGS. I am sure you ended up confusing the @Op the more.
BTW: How much a Supervisor will charge will largely depend on the extent of the project. A Bungalow Project's foundation to german floor, is not the same as that of a two stroey building Foundation to german floor. Also, the nature of the soil of the place is a factor because foundation in a swamp is not the same as foundation in a highland / Red soil area. Finally size of Project (land area covered by the foundation) is also a factor.
Despite all the above, the Supervisor is to stand around and make sure things are done properly. H is not the Builder naah? 200K maximum, irrespective of above factors, should be enough for supervision of blockwork to Lintel level. 100K for Block work (assuming 2weeks) 75K to 100Kmax for Lintel and Slab Ok |

Alkanelly: i was charged 300k from foundation to german floor, now he wants to charge another 300k from the german floor to first floor slab. isn't that too much for the next phase of the building If I get you well, u mean block work for ground floor and decking, right? |
Properties › Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by Timtol(m): 6:29pm On Nov 08, 2018 |
Alkanelly: Hello Engineers and contractors, please can someone tell me how much should an engineer/architect charge for supervising my building project. my engineer is asking for 300k to supervise from ground floor block setting to first floor slab (slab included). he charged me 300k from foundation to german floor which i think was even too much. please what's the best charge for the next phase in your honest opinion. To me it's not expensive, it's normal price. Some charge higher than that and some charge the same, others charge less. Quality matters. Negotiation matters as well. God bless. |
