If you look at this picture, you will understand why Boko Haram is thriving. Who goes to war with that at this age? It all boils down to corruption.

Madam, if those before Amosun have done what the governor is doing presently in term of urban renewal and provision of necessary infrastructures that'll make the state a comfortable place for those living there, all these points you listed would be what he'll be working on now.
It's a step at a time.
No doubt there are LOTS to be done.

When you speak ill of those doing their best to advance the lives of their fellow man , as Amosun is doing, then know that good fortune will avoid you. It is not a curse but a reality characters like you deserves for never giving credit where due and for only being able to badmouth and pull down others doing what you neither have the talent, will or focus to do. For anyone not a brazen liar, Amosun is one of the top five Governors in Nigeria on account of the tangibles he has delivered alone.

Baba Alakyo is alive – Ombatse

The Ombatse spiritual group has made a statement to the effect that its spiritual leader, Lega Agu, commonly called Baba Alakyo, is alive, hale and hearty, contrary to speculations that he was killed by Fulani mercenaries on Sunday morning.

Barr. Zachari Zamani Alumaga, the legal adviser of the group who made this known in Lafia yesterday, said Baba Alakyo was in his house and going about his normal businesses.

Asked why the spiritual leader had not come out to refute the claim in person, Alumaga said the onus of proof was on those who claimed they had killed him.

He further asserted that the death of man that Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura sent over 100 policemen to capture would have elicited excitement in government circles and possible statement of declaration of victory.

“If Baba had been killed by the mercenaries, as the state Assembly has repeatedly accused Al-Makura of being behind the crisis in the state for whatever reason, I think it is left for him to prove his point beyond reasonable doubt for the public,” he said.

Saying that Baba Alakyo would speak for himself when he so desires, he urged the state government to dwell more on seeking ways of restoring peace instead of peddling rumours of the death of one of its citizens.
