i do not see how being religious makes you more disciplined than the other, most Nigerian celebrities are theists, how many of them is more disciplined than Zuckerberg who is an atheist.



Being moral do not have anything to do with being religious, morality is neither Christian or muslim or hindu, it belongs to no ism and is not dependent on any book, creed or supernatural for foundation.

Morality has a human foundation.

I do think that it is true some people obviously like yourself cannot be moral without the application of forceful religious coercion and threats - heaven and hell, and for such cases i think religion comes as a very useful tool.

But there are far better and more effective reasons to be moral - Love, sympathy, compassion, family and societal bonds and many more.

If your moral compass has not evolved pass the shallow stage of "reward and punishment" theme - Selfish ends, then it is a sad reality.
