I got my study visa guys.
Thanks to everyone that answered my questions on this site. I started this process in December and still can’t believe I got it done for January resumption.

Applied to Sunderland and Coventry: Dec 6th

Offer: Sunderland declined my offer on Dec 13th and offered me a different course for Sept resumption. Thankfully Coventry gave me an offer on Dec 17th.

School resumed: January 10th

CAS issued: January 21st

Started online visa application: January 24th

TB test appointment: January 27th

Updated CAS issued: January 28th (due to error in CAS)

Online visa application submitted: January 31st

Biometrics/ document submission: February 3rd (I did priority service)

Collection email: February 15th

I submitted my 1st degree certificate and transcripts (only support document on my CAS), bank statement, my marriage certificate, pictures of all my past visas and my child’s birth certificate.
I have been out of school for 10years and out of work for almost 7yrs so did not submit any CV. I don’t have my tax documentation so didn’t submit any business documents . I also declared my past US refusal and past UK refusal. I must note dt I did my undergrad in the UK & travelled there frequently, so have an history with them, although they refused my last visit visa in 2018 due to “incomplete information”. (I guess they just didn’t want to give me such a lengthy visa since I wasn’t working formally for a company).

PS- if ur traveling to the UK and concerned about Covid restrictions all you need is ur vaccination certificate. You don’t need to do any covid test or quarantine. The only people dt need a negative covid test result are those dt haven’t taken the vaccine. For now dts the regulation if going to the UK direct. If ur transiting u can check ur airline’s regulations.

I think what you submitted is fine. Those i know got their visas after NSF on employment or study gap issues.
I got NSF too. Though my visa is not out but my dependants are and all successful so i know mine is already successful...make dem sha gimme my passport quick o...The delay is exhausting sha

Did you get a previous NSF Mail? I got this mail after my NSF.

NSF was 27th Jan. This mail was received on 31st Jan.
Biometrics 24th Jan. Paid priority.
Application still at DMC as at now...

So it's a way to say the application may take some more time than the usual timeline...

Evidence of Work will require your payslips and reference letter for all your past employments. You can add your nysc cert for proof of service year work.

Received nsf on the 10th of February to provide Letter of Consent for one of my sons. Although it was uploaded
I guess it was an error from the case worker as there was no address to send the response on the mail.
Collection mail: 15th of February
Picked up this morning

It was a Journey mixed with several emotions!!!! It ended in praise
I had wait back just to wait for their Visa to arrive as I cant leave my children behind.

Thank you for your response. I thought I could provide POF for myself alone to get CAS. Then after get the account funded enough to cover for the entire family when applying for visa.

My application moved to VAC from DMC yesterday morning and still haven't been received by VAC nor have I received the collection mail .... most times you get collection mail the same day it moved to VAC ..... is anyone having same experience ? Is it advisable I go to my Tls to see if it's there already or I should just wait till I get collection mail

Your provided POF must show that you have enough money for yourself, your fees, and your family for a minimum of 9 months to one year. Please check the Gov.uk website for the recommended amounts for London and cities outside London.

I have an unconditional offer from ulster university for May 2022. I intend to travel with my family. The school requires POF before CAS is be issued. But I will like to confirm if I need the POF for the tuition fees and my cost of maintenance as principal applicant only. Or I also need to include for my dependents to get CAS.
I understand that I need to provided POF for all during visa applications. Your response will be appreciated.

You can try to send it and if it bounces, use a pdf resizer online to make it smaller. You can also use a pdf merger so all documents are on one sheet.
You should get an acknowledgment mail if it goes successfully.

They usually say this at the end of the mail with their email.

I got an Nsf mail asking g for consent letter for one of my sons as I forgot to upload it.
Pls how do I respond to the email they sent.
There is no email address stating how to respond to the mail.

Just follow the prompts on the call. It will ask for your card details. When successful, you'll get transferred to where you will select options before you speak with an agent. I used a domiciliary acct card but i hear naira cards work too.

Please was the NSF based on work experience? Got NSF for work experience and some funds clarification on Jan 27th. Responded same day but still awaiting feedback.

No...standard application. Applied Jan 5...had biometric on January 13...got a NSF on January 26...responded next day and received collection mail on February 7...Visa was dated January 31st.

The attachments are likely too heavy. Please use a pdf resizer tool online to make the size smaller. You can also use pdf merger to merge all documents and make it look good.

Just as it says...they have decided on yours but not on dependants yet.
You should get a collection mail for yours shortly.

My friend and I did biometrics on the 24th Jan with priority. I got NSF on 27th and responded same day. She didn't get any mail and we both are yet to get a response.
Application still at DMC.
