My sis worry not,from wat I read,d research is not 100% binding,with my 1st kid,I didn't kno bout it,and I slept wichever way was cmftbl for me,even to d point of sleepin flat on my back sef(wich I later heard wasn't good) and d baby came out ok,just be cmftbl and get as much rest as u can,u can also try d leftside to see if itz cmftbl for u

I had d same concerns during my 2nd pregnancy,went online and saw dt d oyinbos felt ther was nothing wrong with it,they even had a term for it(fgten wat twas called)but by d time I went to my doctor,he said I had to stop brestfeeding,I askd 2oda doctor frends of mine and they said d same thing,so I decided to stop brestfeedin d olderbaby

uhm, just found out that im preggies yesterday, did a hpt yesterday and today, both are positive. i started taking pregnacare yesterday. i don't know how far gone i am. how soon can i register for ante natal? can it wait til next month. cz my work schedule is hectic this week and i ll be travelling by weekend...or do i register wen i get to my destinations eventhough i ll be there for less than two months?

im ok except for cramps lyk that of an impending flow. i haven't noticed any weight gain but im kinda loosing my appetite.
im also asthmatic and i don't know if my medications. ll affect my baby. pls can i lie on either side or is it just my left side?? thanks

Hiya smokey,big congrats on ur lil one,u can register for ur antenatal btw 12-16wks,so I guess ure covered til u return from ur biz trip,as for d asthma,I'm nt sure if d medications wil afect d baby,though I realy doubt it,maybe befor u travel u cud see ur doc to find out for sure,as for sleepin on ur side,research has shown that its best for pregnant women to lie on their left while sleepin,though for d 1st trimester ure free to lie on either side that suits u,but I thnk d earlier u start d better for u,so dt by d time u hit ur 2nd and 3rd trimester,ul be used to it

@humming relax,ure in ur 26th wk alredy,d lord will see u thru,itz nt as if these private clinics r so bad,as long as ure nt aving issues wth ur pregnancy,notin do u,all u nid do is be vigilant,if ure feeling ill or anything,let them kkno immediately,and dnt be scared to insist on tests if u think u nid it

marygold: @ all,I finally got the poroporo(guinea corn stalk)this sfternoon in the market.Presently boiling it.I pray I get results fast.MY PCV is not encouraging at all.My gynae doc also recommended pharmaton matruelle capsules,I got that also this evening for N3,500.

Hi mary,are the pharmaton capsules lik blood capsules,cos if thyr not I'm not sure u shud be mixing it wth herbs,u know we don't kno exactly wat compounds are in d herbs,so dat it dosnt react with d pharmaton,and since d drug is bout 3500,then I guess it shud be strong,its either u stick wth d drugs or wth d poroporo,I wud suggest u use d drugs first,and if therz no improvment u try d poroporo,or u cud ask ur doctorz opinion

I'm 14wks preg n tryin to start antenatal at a govt hospital though we av a private one but everyone has advised i go to govt hospital even my sister a nurse in a private one. Since i've been tryin to register (since it takes days) i've not seen a doctor do you think i should go back to d private or just wait for d govt one. Thank u

Private clinics are convenient and fast,but thyre not as thorough as govt clinics,I use a private clinic but I tell u,most of dem doctors can be very incompetent,I'm d one always insistin on certain things(urine test,pcv,scans etc)wich is smthn I shud av at evry appointmnt. Wen my baby threatened to come early,I askd my clinic if they had incubators for premature babies and they said no(this is sposd to be among d best private clinics u can get in ibadan!smh),and this is not peculiar to my hospital alone,so wat was sposd to happen if my baby had come early,they wud av transfered us to a govt clinic. I wud advise u use a govt clinic esp,if this is ur 1st baby,but not just any govt clinic,try to go to d major ones(lik uch in ibadan or luth in lagos d equivalent of these that u av in d state u reside),if not for d fact that I had certain issues wth this pregncy,I wudnt ave realized ow incompetent most private clinics are,bottomline is that whichever clinic u choose to go,put urself and ur baby into Godz hand,cos hez d only one that guides and protects 100%

Mcfemad: Trust we are all doing good, remember days ago, I shared how my wife's PCV results showed 31% and tjskii advised the use of 'poroporo' and ugu with milk. Within days of usage, her PCV result today has improved to 35%. I'm really surprised at how it worked effectively. We can as well try this and share it with others(just as tjskii did) Cheers!

U av nothing to fear with guineaacorn stalks,we av testimonies to its efficacy,but then again u shud only do wat ure comfortable with,and itz not guineacorn leaves,its the stalks,thyr lik lil sticks
