oyinkay123: So I was at the embassy today and was told "addition administrative processing required" and that they'd send me an email when my issue is resolved. What does that even mean?

sad

Hello Oyinkay123, I had the same issue when we went for our interview in July at Abuja. I called the line showed on their website but they kept telling me that they would revert back to us when they are done. My hope was kept alive by the testimony of Jyde2014 & Nikkygal who have had similar experience (although it was not easy many sleepless nite). I used my email addy to send them a message but did not receive any response. After a week that i used my huband's email he was requested to send his passport number which we immediately did. When we did not hear from them again and after confirming from the hospital that the embassy had contacted them my husband sent another mail to them and the following day I received a phone call that we shoul visit the embassy any tuesday or thursday at 1:30pm with our documents and the rest is history. When we went on tues we were just asked if we would be able to pay the balance of our bill as she coulc see that we had paid part and asked to see our bank statement.

So keep your mind at rest, send mails and ask the hospital to inform you once the embassy contact them

TK2014: Good afternoon house, I have been following this trend for a while but unfortunately could not read all comments before the site was attacked. Please i need advise, i went for my Visa interview at Abuja on tuesday with all necessary documents obtained from Doctores para ti, but when interviewed the lady stated that they needed to confirm the letter and receipt submitted and would get back to us. I want to know if anyone has had this experience and how long it took before they reverted back to you. Also when filling the form a wrong email address was inputted. Would they reply via email or would they call.

I would like to say a big thank you to my friend who introduced me to this link and also to Jyde2014, Ucheobi and Nikkygal who responded to my questions. We were called by the embassy last week tuesday and our visa were issued (my husband, son and myself) on Friday. we have arrived at Intown suite Elpaso (dont have much time before delivery).

This forum has been very informative and I thank God i had the oppourtunity of having a friend who showed me this link.

You can always call or write to the Embassy to inquire if your matter is urgent. Good luck!

I have sent mail to the mail address found on the website and also called. I have not gotten any reponse. The two times I called the number i was just informed that they would revert back as stated in the processsing form given to me. My issue here is that my expected due date is getting close and I dont know what to do

I know someone that used Del sol(El paso) hospital was put on AP about 2wks ago when he & his wife went for their visa interview...But as God will have it, they were mailed just a few days ago to come & pick up their visas...Their interview was in Abuja. So I'll suggest you mail them or call them repeatedly to find out the status of your AP.

**P.S - For the number to call the embassy, you can ask on the USA student visa thread! It's quite popular there**

Thanks I will mail them and hope to receive a feedback from them.

I don't think it might take that long. My wife went for her interview on a friday, she was told they needed to confirm her details from WHMC and Dr Rizk. I discussed with a friend the following thursday who advised i should call them to know d status. Fortunately, i called the consular office on friday, exactly a week after her interview and to the lady's surprise she thought my wife had been contatcted to come submit her passport. They immediately contacted my wife to come submit her passport. she submitted on tuesday and by close of business on wednesday, her visa was ready for pick up.
Although cases are judged individually, i hope and pray yours is resolved soonest. However like i said earlier, keep calling them.
All the best.

please I have tried searchint for a number i can use to call them but to no avail. Please can you rember the number you called?

Good afternoon, I am new on this forum, but had a bit of oppoturnity to read some comment under the section of 'Give birth in the USA cost and procedure' before the forum crashed.
Please I went for an interview on Tuesday July 15 with my husband and son at Abuja and my reason for wanting to travel to the USA was to give birth , the VO requested if i have any correspondece with any hospital and which state. i showed the VO evidence of part payment of my medical bill to the hospital, th hospital's letter of responsibilty and the mail correspondences i have had with the hospital, the VO gave me a form which stated that further admistrative process need to be conducted and they would revert back to us. someone suggested that I should call the embassy and not wait, please i would like to know if i can go ahead to call and what number i can call, also my due dat is September which makes it difficult for me to just wait and do nothing. i would like to now may fate and know what next of action to take.
