My wife's english is terrible.I knew this before we got married but i thought she could develop herself to improve her language skills.

@ OP, you obviously knew her deficiency before you married her.

so, the only thing to do now is to help her improve on it, which will depend on her willingness to learn.

i'm sure there are some good traits you saw in her before you married her.

You can alternatively copy your SWsetup Folder located in the C:\ just in case.It contains all your drivers and you can always use them incase you have to restore your system.

true but i've seen that folder only in an HP machine and not on other brands like Dell, Acer, Toshiba, and so on.

if OP's machine is an HP then he's in luck but if not, he might have to use a third party software like the ones some have posted on here. Peace!

the problem with most naijas is short term memory and a heart of forgiveness. i mean how could anyone forget the likes of Gloria Okon and Jennifer Madike (well, those were old enough to know what's going on then) that this woman had a hand in their demise.

@ all, the easiest way to get a good life cycle on your battery is to calibrate it the moment you purchased the notebook.

charge it completely till it's completely charged and let it discharge to 0% (yes, 0%) and then charge it again. . .repeat the process about three times.

I usually let mine get to 98 - 100% before unplugging.
I then use it till about 70 something % before replugging.

Trying to be on the safe side in case overcharging ain't good for it.

@ bluediva, you're doing your battery more harm than good by doing the remarks in bold.

on the contrary, you want to let the battery completely discharge to like 3% - 5% before charging.

your battery will last longer that way.

@ OP, yes, your notebook battery can be overcharged. . .once the battery meter reaches 100% then your battery is fully charged.

any further charge, reduces the life cycle of your battery. on a side note, it's a good idea to calibrate your battery every three months.

though some manufacturers bundle utilities (usual in BIOS) used in calibrating laptop batteries with their notebook brand but the simplest way to do that is to let it completely discharge to 0% after a complete charge (100%) before you charge it again.

just make sure you have any documents you're working on at the time saved by the time it gets to like 8%.

the embed code url is different from the primary url because it contains additional characters at the end of it.

for instance the primary url for the Silent Scandal video look like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG2rHUx7hz4

while the embed code url look like this:

http://www.youtube.com[b]/v/[/b]kG2rHUx7hz4[b]&hl=en_US&fs=1&[/b]

note the additional characters as well as the address modification after the .com in bold wink

if u feeling adventurous u can try to insert the primary url in the flash tag and see if it works (i doubt it)

@ africhika, it's pretty easy to embed your youtube, dailymotion (though i haven't tried it yet), and vimeo videos. here's how:

1. at the site, copy the "embed" code (not the primary url code)

2. tab back to NL (almost nearly all browsers now have the tabbed browsing feature, thanks to FF) and click on the flash button (first button under the bold button

3. insert the code in between the open and closed "flash" tag and delete everything before the "http" and everything after the complete url:
