I'll send a copy of the observation report I keep up in my class to the first 15 moms to show interest.
It contains a list of physical (gross/fine motor skills), cognitive, social development that we expect our kids to acquire before they leave our class.
Age range is 18m-30m.
It is printable and you can make comments or mark the date the skill was observed.


Please state of child in months, please.
Its pretty useless for babies and toddlers of up to 15m and it can be pretty frustrating if you keep it and have to tick once a month.

My 12 days old baby was circumcised today and the hospital used the traditional method of cutting. I've been crying for my baby since.

I was going to take him elsewhere, don't know y I let them go ahead. I am still in shock of it trying to change focus to how to maintain it till it heals.

He was given pain reliever and we were told to apply penicillin regularly. I can't remember if they told me how how often to apply it. Pls how often?

Was this method used for any baby here, can someone guide me on what to expect? And what to do? I can't find info on it and I'm beginning to get worried already.

I can feel n see that he's in pain sometimes.


nothing to worry about,also did the traditional one for my son though it was not intentional,the pain would only be much on day one but would subsequently subside.just make sure you pour enough olive oil on the cotton wool on the peepee so that it can fall off easily or to make it easy when you want to remove it.penicilin application starts when the plaster or cotton wool has been removed or fallen off.it would be healed before you know it.

Mamas pls I have a very serious issue at hand and it's affecting my mental health. I had my baby 5weeks,3days ago and I was given a cut which was stitched imm baby came out but I've not been healing up. During bowel movements, I noticed my stool is always hard and have to be forced out. D main issue now is that my episiotomy site still hurts like hell, so I summoned some courage to check it out and found that d site is actually swollen with some lumps and extra flesh around it, there's even an open wound close to d vjay sef would have love to post pics but I don't want to corrupt d virgins on dis thread
