I don't understand how a human being will support chioma and her sponsors to ruin a business that feeds thousands of people ?? Are we really ok ? If chioma really want to review the product She should have channelled her complaits to the company costumer care or costumer protection agency like NAFDAC or other relevant agencies But No,she is bent on destroying a fellow Nigerian business and throw workers into labour market The same people complaining of unemployment are supporting a woman who is paid for destruction. Make we get sense small. |

hedonido: Told to apologise for what?
Why didn't Erisco sue her according to laid down CIVIL laws? There is nothing she did that requires police arrest or detention. So why twist the laws and use your useless money to compromise the police to perpetuate injustice because you feel somebody maligned your product?
God punish Erisco and whoever is supporting the stupid man's barbaric behaviour. 1.what chioma did is not review but condemnation 2.She didn't complain to consumer protection agency or the company's costumer care 3.when asked for the product she claims that's surgary, she declined 4.she made it clear that she wants to destoy the company that feeds thousands of people What other evidence do you need to know she is being sponsored? |

Now you want to cancel Erisco because of one babe, then you cause them to fold up and sack thousands of workers working for them and then after that, you blame the government for loss of jobs. Thank God 🙏 for people like you who still think like humans. The lady was told to apologise She refused And because of her Thousands of workers should lose their jobs because of one woman ? |

malali: Politics doesnt work that way. He didnt win that office alone. There are political stakeholders that will make nominations to him, he cant refuse. Nigerians problems are peculiar, you dont have to be international to address most of it. The good thing about the minsters are, they just have to assemble a good team and take the credit. The brains can even be a team of recent university graduates or experienced business men. Most ministers are figure heads technocrats. As a good minister you should know how to select and manage a good team. Fashola is a lawyer, Ngige is a doctor.....A good administrator would make a better minister in my opinion. Excellence can't be by chance Akinwumi Adesina,Aruna otteh, okonjo iwella were great during Jonathan era bcoz they're professionals in the office they handled Political jobbers can't do anything worthwhile. |

To put things in perspective, 1/4 of the world's richest soil is in Ukraine. Nigeria has potentials of having food security if we have sensible leaders Though ukraine has better arable lands but our own is still good enough to feed our people. We should not be crying over food No excuse for failures of our leaders |

Ttalk: Peter Obi and his Obidients can do better than they are presently doing, with his recent attack on the government for the UN donation of wheat purchased from Ukraine to support Nigeria, one can see the dangerous role Obi is playing and being cheered by his thoughtless followers.
Such statement should be frowned upon and it would be necessary if DSS invited him and cautioned him to limit his instigation, after all, Anambra where he ruled doesn't produce wheat to service his state in a federation where agriculture is on the concurrent list. Tinubu knew that Fools like you are plenty in Nigeria That's why they can do anything and pay jobbers like Reno to confuse you the more Let me educate U Arable lands in the North alone is bigger than the whole of ukraine 2.Ukraine is fighting against a superior opponent and still have food for exports Terrorists should not be an excuse So think like a human being for once. |

Politics › Re: Why I Resigned As Minister Of Power - Barth Nnaji by Tochj(m): 11:28am On Mar 01, 2024 |
Pergie001: Professor Barth Nnaji has become a high profile casualty in the crisis in Nigeria’s power sector as President Goodluck Jonathan on Monday “accepted” his resignation as the Minister of Power with immediate effect. The development opened a new chapter in the standoff between unions of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and the federal government over modalities for fully privatizing the electricity sector.
A statement by Presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati said President Jonathan thanked Prof. Nnaji “for his services to the nation under the present administration and wishes him well in his future endeavours.”
Nnaji’s resignation comes barely two weeks after the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) demanded his resignation citing “vituperation on the workers in the sector. NUEE also accused the then minister of engaging in fraudulent activities in the Power Sector and misinforming Nigerians to the extent of putting them under tension unnecessarily. shocked shocked shocked
The union had also demanded explanation from Nnaji in connection with his role or activities in relation to issues like:
N395m collected from PHCN allegedly for the Media, for 3 months; << 40-man laptop squad no doubt got some rich pickings from this largess grin >> N280m collected from PHCN allegedly for Nigeria Army; N200m collected from PHCN allegedly for Unknown Project in the Power Ministry; N86m collected from PHCN allegedly for a bullet -proof vehicle; N3m collected from PHCN and donated to Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT); and Employment of 20 people in Enugu Zone of PHCN who are his kith and kins as staff two years after the closing date of casual employment and close of PHCN biometrics exercise.
“He should also explain to Nigerians why we have been collecting Pension and Gratuity from 1972 till June 2012 based on 25 percent, and why his reform tends to short change the workers,” the statement said, adding that the development confirms the fears of workers in the power sector that Nnaji’s reform is aimed at strangulating workers.” A statement by the union leadership had said.
The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria accepted today the resignation of Barth Nnaji, the hitherto Minister of Power.
The resignation is reportedly connected to the revelations first premiered by Business Day which linked the former cabinet member to an underground bid for Afam Power Station.
Nnaji revealed to the National Council on Privatiation last Friday that his company, Geometrics, was a shareholder in a company that bid for the Afam Power Station.
Afam Power Station has an installed capacity of 775 Megawatts which is 18% of the country’s current total power generation.
The revelation came as a surprise, although many Nigerians were already aware that the privatiation of PHCN was simply an unbundling of the country’s power assets to the cabal.
However the undoing of Mr. Nnaji may have come about as a result of the dispute between himself as minister and PHCN employees.
The PHCN employees were embittered by Nnaji’s refusal to pay them adequate terminal benefits running into hundreds of billions of Naira. The conflict-of-interest being he would not want an asset he was planning to acquire to be hugely indebted to the soon-to-be disengaged PHCN staff.
