The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) may soon invite erstwhile governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, over the $115 million allegedly received from

former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, by Fidelity Bank. But the anti-graft commission is reportedly seeking clarifications from his successor, Governor Willy Obiano. Sources at the EFCC noted that during the build-up to the 2015 presidential election, Alison-Madueke invited Nnamdi Okonkwo, Managing Director, Fidelity Bnk, to help her handle some cash, which would be disbursed to electoral officials and groups. It was learnt that Okonkwo recently arrested by EFCC told his interrogators that he was under instructions from Obi, believed to be one of the owners of the bank, to go to Alison-Madueke’s residence in Abuja for a “financial transaction that could benefit the bank.”

A source at the EFCC said the transaction of that magnitude couldn’t have been done without Obi’s influence. Towards the tail end of his tenure, Obi defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and was part of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign team. Investigators in the alleged $115 million money transfer are working under the theory that the said money could only be moved by a bank whose owner is close to the former president’s campaign team.

“Okonkwo told his interrogators that he couldn’t have gone to Alison-Diezani’s place if the deal hadn’t been finalized by top players with connection to his bank,” said a source at the commission. It was learnt that the current governor of the state also made input in the transaction. Governor Obiano can’t be invited or arrested by EFCC because of his immunity as a governor. It was learnt, however, that representation has been made to the governor for clarification on the matter. Wilson Uwujaren, head, Media and Publicity, however, feigned ignorance on this development.

He said that he is not yet aware of the new development in the investigation but promised to get back as soon as matters become clearer. He, however, said that the case is still under investigation. “We may have to invite people, anybody, we feel might give insight into the matter,” he said. Earlier in the week, the managing director of Fidelity Bank was arrested by the EFCC.

Okonkwo, Chief Executive Officer of Fidelity Bank, was reportedly picked up by the EFCC on Wednesday for allegedly receiving $115 million from Diezani Alison-Madueke. The EFCC also arrested the bank’s Head of Operations, Mr. Martins Izuogbe, for his role in the alleged scam, which the anti-graft agency described as unprecedented. Reports say that during the build-up to the 2015 presidential election, Alison-Madueke invited Okonkwo to help her handle some cash, which would be disbursed to electoral officials and groups.

EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said Okonkwo was being held as part of an investigation into financial transactions made last year in the closing months of the administration led by former President Goodluck Jonathan. Fidelity Bank confirmed that the matter was being investigated by the EFCC and said the transactions were “duly reported as required by the regulators”.

This is just an undeniable FACT! This political fraudster charlatan Peter Obi has never won any election in his miserable life.

Some people may say, But he was a 2-term Governor of Anambra State. Yes he was all thanks to Ojucrook dictatorship in Anambra. Ojucrook handpicked Obi and told Anambra people if they love him, they should vote for Obi.

And of course, Ojucrook was loved and respected by all in Anambra since he was the boss aka godfather of Anambra politics, and founder of APGA. Not to mention that Ojucrook was the civil war hero of his tribe. So the first time Peter Obi became Governor, he won by SELECTION, not by Election.

After performing woefully in his first term, to avoid disgrace for APGA and for himself, Ojucrook went all around Anambra (at his old age and with his frail body - much respect for him) campaigning for Obi, begging Anambra people to please grant him 1 final wish, and the wish was to retain Obi as Governor, so that APGA could remain relevant in the South East and not lose to PDP.

Guess what, Obi won his 2nd tern as Governor again all because of Ojucrook, whose wish was respected by all Anambra politicians and people. Too bad Ojucrook wasted his last wish on Obi just to save him and to prevent Obi's bad performance as Governor from destroying the APGA he built. So twice as Governor, the political fraudster charlatan Obi won by godfather SELECTION not by Election.

The first time Obi would contest in a real election was the PDP primary in 2022. And once it was clear he would be totally disgraced and come last among the rest of the PDP presidential candidates, Obi vanished into thin air. The coward packed his bags and ran away overnight to Labor Party.

At Labor Party, they were meant to have an election to select their.presidential candidate. But immediately Obi got there, he quickly used his stolen Pandora money to buy the election. Labor Party is a vulnerable poor hungry party you know, so all the other poor hungry candidates stepped down for him. That's how Obi became LP presidential candidate, not by contesting an election and winning. He won by SELECTION yet again.

But now, he is confronted by a real election, where his stolen wealth cannot save him and all his Zombidiots supporters have been screaming is Tinubu and Atiku and the rest should step down for Obi. Because the cunning political fraudster charlatan Obi is used to winning by selection and can never win a real election.

But nobody is falling for that crap. He's in the ring with the real players now: juggernaut politicians that are not hungry like LP Executhieves and the Ngerian people that are not Anambra minions to respectfully grant the wish of a dead Anambra godfather Ojucrook. There's no one to save him from imminent disgrace coming by February, not even his social media army of virulent Zombidiots, IPOB contributors and UGM influencers.

And the best part is that Peter Obi can't pack his bags at dusk and run away this time, because his heavily invested bandits of miserable Zombidiots will turn on him for scamming them MMM style.

It is clearly shown that no Igbo in town and cities travelled home this Christmas due to IPOB WARNINGS. Their plans was to travel and stay till February in other for them to vote Obi-thief. But immediately IPOB said that they will be no election in Igbo land in 2023, that anyone who comes out to vote will be shot at sight they all became afraid. Most of them haven't collect their voter's card and they will never collect it. Majority of the Igbos have their polling units in the east.
