How to Make You Smartphone/Android Phone Battery Last Longer
There is one thing am certain about and that's; we all want to have a phone with a long lasting battery, but having that phone is one thing and trying to maintain the battery cell is another thing, with the fluctuation in power supply and no electricity at time, it all fall back to low battery.

Well, I guess we have been persuaded to always take our charger along anywhere we tend to be going which could be embarrassing, but we all know it is uncalled for right? Now this is what I want us to do, I believe if you follow up with me and this few observation of mine, you will be able to make you battery last longer and also make it serve you better.

First, for us to flow well, I wish to make you understand how the Android battery work. And this can also apply to your gadgets to at home.

HOW ANDROID BATTERIES WORK
Some background: Most smartphones have either a lithium-ion battery or a lithium-polymer battery and I repeat most smartphones not all. Both are actually a lithium-ion though, and as such, they do not have a "memory", which means you can charge them from any percent level- which means that you do not have to fully discharge them before charging them up - and you don't have to charge them all the way up to 100 percent.

A problem with this battery is that they suffer from low voltage, so I will say it's actually better to charge them partially, let's say from 20 percent to 90 percent. I will suggest, if you have a battery in this category, you shouldn't charge it fully and you shouldn't drain them totally before charging.

Battery care is always open for debate, so for every accepted tip, there will be someone that says it makes a difference and another saying it makes no difference. Well I suggest you find the one which works for you. The goal at hand here is to increase the battery life of your Android or smartphone device which must be accomplished with me as your accomplice.

Well most devices released nowadays don't have removable batteries. This looks like it won't change anytime soon, but despite most of them being close to 3,000mAh they still need to be optimized, especially for game lovers. Take advantage of some of the tips below and really get the best out of your smartphone.

1. BLACK WALLPAPER CAN INCREASE BATTERY:
If your phone has an AMOLED screen(like most Samsung devices), making use a dark colored background will do you a great favor in optimizing your battery. AMOLED screens only illuminate colored pixels, and balck are unlit, so the more black pixels you have, or the more darker pixels, the less power needed to light them up.

2. DOZE MODE:
Doze mode has been around for quite sometime since the Android Marshmallow, but it has been improved with newer Android versions. Before, doze only worked when smartphone has been stationary for a while i.e to say not used for a while. But now, it always works when moved around(if placed in your bag or pocket, you are good to go) and the screen just need to be off to work. Doze mode essentially shuts down things you not using depending on how long they have been running thereby saving battery.

3. TURN OFF GOOGLE ASSISTANT:

Stop your phone from always listening. Google assistant is a fantastic and often a very functional feature for easy accessing to file and web. The problem is that it can wreck havoc to your battery which shouldn't be. So rather than causing more harm than good, I advice you turn it off.

4. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR APPS UPDATED:
Well there is a reason why developers constantly update apps, and most of the time it's for memory or battery optimization. Keeping your apps updated also means you have the best optimization available be it for memory or battery. Likewise, delete unused apps because some run at the background from startup and that can chew your RAM and battery life.

5. USE GREENIFY
Greenify has been around for a very long time now, and it actually works when it comes to optimization of android apps. Unlike many other android apps which claim to optimize performance, greenify works well. Greenify allows you to put apps in hibernation or to sleep when not in use, thus preventing them from operating in the background.

This frees up system resources and boosts battery performance, but requires a bit of thought.

Phones / How To Locate A Misplaced Android Or Iphone Device. by Tochukwupa12(m): 6:21pm On Jan 25, 2016
Well, we all know at times how important it is to put the smartphone in silent mode when there are so many incoming calls, or you are in a meeting or text messages and unintentionally we put it in silent mood. Well, all of this, the fall on the conclusion of we don’t want anyone to disturb from the regular vibrating or incoming sounds.

But it is a major problem that sometimes people forget where they put their phone and the worst part is, it's in silent mode. Almost every mobile user kept smartphone and then totally forgot about where it was placed.
Even then you can find out the phone by calling on your number through another phone and you will hear the incoming sound. Just follow the sound of the ring and you would be there.

It mostly happens with me, I always ring my smartphone to find out where I placed it but finding the cell phone when it is in silent mode becomes difficult. Have you ever encountered the same situation? If yes, then you have landed at the right place and if not, it is good. But the thing is it can happen to anyone at anytime without any prior notice. So, it is better to find the solution before finding yourself in worst situation.

Finding the misplaced smartphone especially when it is in silent mode makes you feel restless and helpless, but we are here to help you out. We are providing you some ways to find your smartphone even when it is in vibrating mode or silent mode. Have a look

Methods to find your misplaced Android smartphone in silent mode

Method 1 : Android Device Manager

From your laptop or PC, sign in to Google account that you have used in your android smartphone that is misplaced. It will show you the icon at the very right corner of the window. Click on Setting and move to Android Device Manager.

It will ask you the number if you registered the device with your Google account. So, choose the correct smartphone and it will ask you for the three options including Ring, Lock and Erase. According to your priority you can choose the option.

Click on Ring and wait or few seconds. The smartphone will ring for at least five minutes and in full volume so that you could easily find out.

Method 2 : Ring My Droid

The app Ring My Droid is an amazing app with SMS-triggered alarm system that lets you find out your phone even on silent mode. The app is easy to use. Once you install it in your phone, it will set a key phrase by default it is set to RingMyDroid.

If you have lost your phone or forgot it somewhere just ask your friend to SMS Key phrase on your smartphone. Once the key phrase is delivered on your phone, the phone will start ringing even if it is silent mode. So, your next step would be follow the sound and get back your phone with you.

But one thing you need to keep in mind that you friend can use it to make you fool also, so better to keep your key phrase secret.

Method 3 : Find lost iPhone on Silent

If you have forgotten the location of your iPhone that is in silent phone then also you can access it quickly and easily. Make sure you have Find My iPhone in your phone and from your setting it is already turned on.

Step1: From your desktop or PC, check out the website www.icloud.com and sign in to your account.

Step2: Once you signed it, click on Find my iPhone icon.

Step3: Just like Android Device manager, it will ask you the devices connected to that account. Click on All devices and it will show you the entire, list of devices connected with your account.

Step4: Choose the right device that you want to figure out and click on Play Sound. Your phone will get start ringing and the next step is to follow the sound. You will be with your iPhone

Final Words

Well, finding ordinary devices would be difficult to find when in silent mode because there is no way to find out unless you remember the exact position where you placed it. Thanks to smartphones that provides us amazing solution to take out even from the worst situation. If your smartphone gets switched off then don’t get hyper, just relax for a while and try to backtrack your memory lane.

jericco1:

As in what's the need of the app? Is it to erase a virus?
It's not a virus. It's just that when you formatted your phone, the phone erased an app that came along with the phone. And that's the sales tracker. Because of the app is missing, you can't operate and do anything without being able to get the app. So am sharing the app now with victims like me.

It will work, but for simple server to work you will need autoproxy to power the simple server app, auto proxy needs root permission, but the bb10 can't be rooted. So it wouldn't function well. But simple server alone would work
ok no #Poo. but i tried using the simple server alone on bb Q10 but it didnt work..
