Lai mohammed you are now minister of information we need visual proof of the ailing president buhari
Nigerians lets tweet lai mohammed we need answers

read lai mohammed statement 2010 of yaradua health

A Nigerian opposition party on Monday demanded visual proof that an ailing President Umaru Yar'Adua was fit enough to govern after weeks in hospital overseas.

Yar'Adua, 58, has been absent from Africa's most populous country and biggest energy producer for more than a month receiving treatment for a heart condition in Saudi Arabia, but there have been few updates on his health.

Vice President Goodluck Jonathan has been presiding over cabinet meetings but executive powers have not officially been transferred to him, leading to questions over the legality of decisions made by the government in Yar'Adua's absence.

The opposition Action Congress party said the government must provide "concrete evidence" of Yar'Adua's physical condition, suggesting a dated video recording of the Nigerian leader in his hospital room in Saudi Arabia.

"It is necessary for President Yar'Adua, if indeed he is recovering as Nigerians have been praying he does, to move fast to reassure his compatriots that the rumors surrounding his ill health are unfounded," said Lai Mohammed, spokesman for Action Congress.

A presidency spokesman declined to comment on the demands.

Political analysts and senior lawyers say affairs of state are already being affected by Yar'Adua's prolonged absence, pushing Nigeria to the brink of a constitutional crisis.

Vice President Jonathan said on Friday he was hopeful Yar'Adua would return soon and continue as president with "renewed vigor and vitality."

But the opposition party said government assurances over Yar'Adua's health were no longer enough and Nigerians wanted to decide for themselves.

PoliticsRe: Why Buhari Is Not Dead by todayboy: 10:52pm On Feb 06, 2017
THIS POST JUST CONFIRM THAT BUHARI IS TRUELY DEAD OR CRITICALLY ILL grin grin grin

ajealadick:
Many of you have been deceived and are presently living in the lie that the president is either dead or critical on life support.
True as at now Buhari is undergoing several medical tests which were preplanned before he proceeded for the leave. He is very sane and of a sound mind even now.

These following reasons will enlighten and liberate your mind that he is very much alive:

1. PMB is the president and originates from the CPC block of the APC (which is mainly Northern dominated) and the Vice President is a scion of Tinubu legacy ( which is AD later ACN (Action Congress of Nigeria). No matter that they are in same party there are diverse interests vested that runs this country. If indeed Buhari is dead or very ill no one would be able to bind the commotion to install the Vice as stipulated by the law. They spent billions to bring this party to power, they can also spend more to disintegrate it.

2. The Vice President is a professor of law and a SAN, he very well knows his place and the outcome if his boss passes on, no one should think the whole Yoruba race can be cowed to become stooges when the law supports their cause. Definitely with 24hours they would swear in the Osibanjo if the need arises.

3. Constitution or not since the North has a strong grip on power no matter the tribe of any president in power, do you think if their representing president is likely to kick the bucket they would not have taken a "doctrine of necessity"? They would have used hook or crook to subvert the system to their advantage. Do you think they would have allowed PMB to even still send another letter indicating Osibanjo as acting after the extension of his leave? No, never!

4. Apart from the CPC and ACN block there is an ambitious block of Atiku the ex-VP from the camp of Shehu Yar Adua (they are very potent and was major reason OBJ came to power and the deciding factor why his third term bid failed. Turaki would no doubt jump at this opportunity to float himself to power, he has all the money to do it, ask yourself why he isn't doing it. Because Buhari is still on his feet.

5. Of all these blocks I mentioned there are mega billionaires and smaller billionaires running the game and protecting their interests they practically run West Africa. All are capable or running armies to plunge this nation into a situation worse than Boko Haram, so why are they quiet? Because Buhari is not just alive, he is still in charge and running the show.

With these reasons above if you still believe Baba is dead, then I think its your brain that is actually dead and needs a recharge. These are my permutations and they can't be wrong!

One thing about the Nigeria media is that they only focus their attention on Governors and leaders in the south, in most cases hyping and overrating some of the southern Governors when doing their ratings and rankings, and making it appear like nothing is going on up north.

For instance, in the last dispensation, governors Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (then PDP) of Kano and Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo of Gombe were undisputedly two of the best governors in the federation. Dankwambo's case was even unique in the sense that he had little resources at his disposal when compared with his then Kano colleague and those of the southern states, yet, his performance rivaled and eclipsed those of his peers.

Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo became a poster Governor for the PDP in Gombe state and the entire northeast, not even the change mantra of the APC and Sai Baba wind was able to sweep him out of office in the 2015 general election. He came head to head with Senator Danjuma Goje's political machinery and triumphed comfortably. He became the only PDP incumbent Governor to deliver his state to the party in the entire northern region.

Who Is This Governor Dankwambo?
Governor Hassan Dankwambo is one of the few politicians and leaders in Nigeria that climbed up the ladder through hard work and merit.

He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and University of Lagos, where he bagged his Bachelor and Master degrees in Accounting and Economics respectively.

He became the Accountant General of Gombe state in 1999 at age 37. In 2005, President Olusegun Obasanjo elevated him to the position of the Accountant General of the federation (AGF), thereby reaching the pinnacle of his profession in the public service. Dankwambo had to heed to call to serve his people in 2011. He resigned his job as AGF in January 2011 to run for Governor of Gombe state, where he won convincingly in the April 2011 poll.

Being a Governor did not stop his quest for further studies. As Governor, he bagged a PhD in Accounting from the prestigious Igbenedion University, Okada, even when his peers were collecting "Honorary Doctorate Awards". He is also a fellow with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, (FCA), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB) and Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Marketers (FNIM).

In his over five years as Governor, he touched every sector that not even the combine forces of his political detractors that include a former governor could convince the good people of the state not to reelect their loving governor.

Governor (Dr) Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo is 54 years old.

Why Dankwambo Is The Right Man To Lead Nigeria In 2019:
Critics are yet to find any loophole to pin Dankwambo. He is a core professional, a perfect technocrat, he is still in his prime years @54, and he represent the call for generational shift in leadership that we all yearned for.

PDP having zoned the ticket to the north, it will make a lot of sense for the party to take advantage of his giant stride in Gombe to convince Nigerians to return them to power.

Governor Dankwambo, though a practising Muslim, he is one of the few leaders with support base beyond their religious circle. He is an highly detribalised Nigerian, a perfect description of what a leader should be in a multiethnic society like ours.

With the situation of things in the country, it only make sense for a real fresh air to step in, fix the country and safeguard it from total comatose.

What else does Nigeria need in 2019 other than this professional Accountant? We gambled in 2015, we can't afford to toy the same line in 2019. He is a 21st century technocrat that understand 21st century solution to the myriads of problems in Nigeria. He has no corruption case or any baggage hanging on his neck.

I have consistently maintained that there is vacancy in Aso Rock 2019, but the new occupant must be someone that knows what leadership and public service is about especially in a unique society like Nigeria. Ibrahim Dankwambo fits the bill.

Finally, I urge our media to remember that Nigeria extend beyond the south, they should beam their searchlight towards the north and inform Nigerians of the wonders of Governors like Ibrahim Dankwambo.

May God Bless Us And Bless Nigeria!
Ibrahim Dankwambo For President 2019!

First of all OP, your English is bad . Also Buhari is actually one of the best Presidents Nigeria has ever had. It is his luck that he always comes into office when looters have finished their work. It is a little less me Moses and the Israelites and Nigeria is a worse country in stiff-necked corruption.
God will not take him away until Nigeria's crooked ways are straight and people will knock heads on rock and smash them to pieces for nothing.

Christianity EtcDSS Arrests Tareri Avwomakpa Over Whatsapp Message Supporting Johnson Suleman by todayboy(op): 2:09am On Feb 04, 2017
Operatives of the Department of State Services have arrested and arraigned a Warri-based legal practitioner and son of the South-South Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Mr. Tareri Avwomakpa, over his Whatsapp message allegedly calling for support for General Overseer, Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Our correspondent gathered from reliable sources that Tareri, who was on Tuesday invited to the Delta State office of the Service in Asaba, the state capital, was however detained and later charged at a magistrate’s court. He was later granted bail by the court on Thursday.

Tareri was alleged to have posted a message on the social media platform, Whatsapp, where he called on Christians in the country to support and accompany Suleman to honour the invitation by DSS at its head office in Abuja.

The message he had sent to his contacts, which was obtained by our correspondent on Thursday, read, “URGENT!!! The DSS has invited Apostle Johnson Suleman to appear b/4 (sic) the Abuja office for interrogation by 10 am on Monday 30/1/17. Let every Christian come out in a procession to accompany Apostle Suleman to the DSS office. He spoke for us all.

“We stand against the shameful silence of Nigerian government over the killing of Christians in Nigeria; intimidation/harassment of the church with state security agencies and the Islamic agenda of this regime. United we stand & together we will win this battle. Christians awake!!!!! Pls forward this invitation to every contact and God will fight your battles in Jesus name.”

When contacted on Friday, Tareri confirmed his arrest and that he had been granted bail by a magistrate’s court after he was arraigned for attempting to incite the public against the Federal Government.

PoliticsOver 1,500 APC Members Defect To PDP In Katsina State by todayboy(op): 2:02am On Feb 04, 2017
No fewer than 1,500 members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Radda town, Charanchi Local Government Area of Katsina State, on Friday defected to the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP).

The defectors moved to the PDP with their leader, Alhaji Mustapha
Radda, APC youth mobilisation officer in the state from 2010 to 2016.

Receiving the defectors, the PDP state chairman, Alhaji Salisu
Majigiri, said the party had constituted reception committee to
receive defectors to the party.

“The committee is mandated to receive all the people who defected to
our party from other parties.

“We shall treat all those who defected to our party equally without
any form of discrimination.

“Just this week, we received Alhaji Umar Tata APGA governorship
candidate in the 2015 election to our party together with his
supporters.

“We are ready to provide level playing ground to old and new members
during future elections and there will be no imposition of candidates
this time around,” Majigiri said.

In his remarks, Radda, the leader of the defectors, said he decided to
dump the APC for the PDP to rescue his people from alleged
maltreatment.

“We have done a lot for the APC, but today my people especially the
youths that I mobilised have nothing to show for it.

“We did not benefit from the APC poverty alleviation programme meant
to rescue women and youths from poverty; we have presented several
requests to those that matter but we were rejected,’’ Radda said.

Also speaking, Tata the former APGA governorship candidate said the
defectors were prepared for the restructuring of the PDP for effective
service delivery.

He said that the leadership of the PDP had promised to assist the youths with capital to establish their business.
