Tods, check with your school before you waste money.
Some schools send i-20 via courier free of charge.
Try and mail grad studies if you can't get through to the Intl office.

My school doesn't send for free. It is clearly written.

I have registered with eship already, its just remaining for me to pay. I was expecting that the school would mail me that my i20 has been issued. I have been sending emails they dint reply. Okay then maybe I would probably just pay for the shipment and see what happens.

When you say process, is it courier delivering to you or before the school sends it for shipment? It takes less than a week to print out I-20. Did you use eshipglobal (takes 3-5 days) or regular mail (3weeks till forever)?

Just processing o. They have not replied me since after I sent the financial statement.

I was advised to say that my highest educational qualification is SSCE. Reason being that the school is a community college and it will be absurd to say you are going for a second degree

I feel you should have applied to another university for biology or something related, gotten the admission and use that uni for your visa interview. Then when you get to the us you can transfer to your community college if that's where you really wanna go. It would make things easier. There's nothing wrong with community colleges but its like most VOs think you're not really going to study if you say you're going to a community college. I stand to be corrected tho.

Within a week, it should be sorted. All Form A requests are being compiled and sent to CBN weekly from every bank (every tuesday). I paid 5,000 for the form, and 11,000 for proceedings (diamond bank). And I am being charged at 199 naira - 1 dollar.

If you are ready, I ll advise you to be fast since I just made this transaction today and the rate hasnt changed yet.

Going through Form A is the only route I know of making large payments outside the country. Other people can enlighten us here though.

Sign up at eship global. Check if your school is a partner or among the list of schools. They have discounted rates of dhl,ups,fedex etc. 3-5days. Prices from $103-110. Most importantly your docs will arrive on time and secured. Btw u can pay with Paypal. They dont accept card payment from nigeria only paypal

Wow nice. Just kinda scared that the document doesn't get lost that why I want to use dhl. Will the school send another one if a previous one get misplaced?

Yea I know they send for free which takes time but I want an expedited delivery that's why an opting for the courier service option. I meant the rate at which the bank will charge, is it official rate of 200 or black market of 320 or so?

most schools would sometimes ask you pay a hundred dollar fee to the courier company,most will send it free sometimes.Dont know what u meant by official rate,you just have to make payments using a credit or debit card.
