fallacy of unwarranted assumption!

Eziachi: If Igbos are such an eye sore, you should not have fought for 3 good years trying to keep an eye sore.
That is stupid. In life we only fight for something we viewed as valuable.
oh boy, stop the goof!
The war started on the 6th of July 1967 and ended in January 1970. Approximately 2years 6months.

Where did you see 3 good years?
Politics › Where Are The Goodgovernance Team Lead Bylabaran MAKU by Tolexander(op): 8:44pm On Mar 25, 2013
A couple of weeks ago in
Nigeria. The minister of
information in person of
Labaran Maku, came up with a
team that proposed to embark
on a visitation to the the 36
states of the federation and
FCT to commission the state
and federal projects in the
individual states.
Early this month, the Edo state
government gave a prior
notice to the team that he
wouldn't be able to finance
the expenses of the team's
visit to his state with the state
allocation (are they state
project?). They went to Edo
state and did the commission
they were able to do.
I can even remember fashola
criticized them.
It has been long i heard
anything about the team. Are
they still existing or not?
Or there are no more state
and federal projects to be
commissioned?
What triggered this question
is that it is high time they
started visiting the core north
to commission the projects
there cos most of their
visitations if not all are to the
south

As a cute guy,
what attracts me first in gurls is
beauty, i like pretty girls most especially light gurls with gracefully tall stature, nice curves and average burst.
After seeing the above, then move closer to assess her accents both english and yoruba.
If she passes the accent test, i will then get closer to know if she is a wife material in home training and bedmatics.

Dede1: If stealing petrol from an overturned tanker is regarded as an intelligent and sensible act by you, I now know why stealing is common among certain ethnicity in Nigeria.
if they didn't scoop it, what then will be the fate of the petrol? At least better than scooping the petrol, stealing the tanker and killing the driver like some people we know.

These are intelligent and sensible people unlike some people who will go straight to fetch the petrol not minding if there will be explosion or not.

SmartTalk: Other strategies would have won the war, you say. That is why I put up this post for people like you who keep saying that but have no suggestions: https://www.nairaland.com/1215556/additional-strategies-biafrans-should-adopted#14610995
but you said they are intelligent? How come they couldn't suggest a strategy to conquer their enemy as many as the biafran soldiers were?

Politics › Re: Discussing Some Fogetten Heroes Of Biafra by Tolexander: 6:06pm On Mar 25, 2013
SmartTalk: The two criminals you mentioned committed recorded acts of genocide. Killing unarmed civilians is not what heroes do. Read your history.
so biafran soldiers never killed any civilian?

That is the problem with biafrans.
Quit propaganda. Another Strategy would have won the war and not propaganda.
Politics › Re: Discussing Some Fogetten Heroes Of Biafra by Tolexander: 6:00pm On Mar 25, 2013
SmartTalk: That must have been what the devil thought when Jesus was crucified - Son of Man dead, I win, I am a hero - but that is not how life should be measured by intelligent people. If Hitler won, the way the story of Europe would have been told would be very different.

Back to real heroes:
Canadian writer Stanley Diamond supported Biafra. Richard Nixon, despite his faults, stopped Johnson's policy of supplying weapons to Nigeria. The people of Britain protested Harold Wilson's idiotic policy of support to Nigeria - dock workers refused to load ships with weapons protesting being used to kill Biafran babies.
introduction of Jesus into this matter has no mental affliation.
Satan and Jesus had a battle till the point of resurrection. I.e during trial, crucifixion and death. Jesus won when he resurrected. Cos the main battle Jesus was meant to fight is to DIE AND RESURRECT!
Politics › Re: Discussing Some Fogetten Heroes Of Biafra by Tolexander:
SmartTalk: Conor Cruise O'Brien knew the potential Biafra had of liberating African intellectualism given the intelligentia Biafra produced on the world stage. Biafra had the largest proportion of Black intellectuals in the world. Same with Kurt Vonnegut who wrote:

"Miriam was annoyed by my conversation at one point, and she said scornfully, "You won't open your mouth unless you can make a joke." It was true. Joking was my response to misery I couldn't do anything about. The jokes of Ojukwu and Effiong had to do with the crime for which the Biafrans were being punished so hideously by so many nations. The crime: They were attempting to become a nation themselves. "They call us a dot on the map," said General Ojukwu, "and nobody's sure quite where." Inside that dot were 700 lawyers, 500 physicians, 300 engineers, 8 million poets, 2 novelists of the first rank, and God only knows what else -- about one-third of all the black intellectuals in Africa. Some dot. Those intellectuals had once fanned out all over Nigeria, where they had been envied and lynched and massacred. So they retreated to their homeland, to the dot. The dot has now vanished. Hey, presto."
INTELLIGENCE!

Guess you seem not to understand what intelligence is.

An intelligent mind creates solution to his problems.
An intelligent soul acquires the materials around it to make an unfavorable condition favorable.
An intelligent body doesn't bank on his opponent to give it a clue before it can win and be successful
Politics › Re: Discussing Some Fogetten Heroes Of Biafra by Tolexander:
SmartTalk: Like I said, criminals and hell-bound bigots are not included. The two genocidal killers you mentioned belong with Strum Thormond in his section of hell.
who are criminals in the real sense.

Biafran soldiers that engaged in a war with nigerian soldiers are considered heroes?

Nigerian soldiers that engaged in a war with the biafran soldiers are considered a criminal and hell bound bigots.

Your assertion- biafran soldiers never shot anything during the war abi which made them not to be considered a criminal and hellbound bigots?

Though the arrest seems to be political but still a step to remind the incumbent political office holder that there is still life after office.

They are probing their own ex president for the dubious deal he made with a nigerian. When are we going to probe his ally/allies here!

Though more people visit nairaland more than twitter but twitter is an household name like facebook base on BB and smartphone use in nigeria.

Quite unfortunate some people still live in the pre mary slessors era where the twins born are killed.

They had the muscle, solidarity and materials to lynch a common man that need a medical help to his uncommon medical condition but couldn't channel all those muscle, solidarity and materials to the state house in asaba and other local government secretariats, in delta state and lynch the politicians molesting them.

Or is it not the same Delta state where the gubanitorial mantle has been rotated between cousins!

death of two middle aged

It could be recalled that

bring the total number of
victims to five persons.

Seems the inmates felt some of them never committed an offence as great as that of alamiesegha and was pardoned. Hence the need to pardon themselves and liberate themselves from the prison.

If possible, they can introduce a nonpartisan election in which any freeman can contest base on his will.

Even USA that we are modelling our democracy after don't practise 2-party system though two parties dominate.

Politics › Re: Ailing Taraba Governor, Danbaba Suntai, Moved To U.S. Hospital by Tolexander: 7:16pm On Mar 24, 2013
Sometimes, many people deceive themselves thinking they are deceiving someone!

About two months ago, we were showed the picture where Suntai Danbaba carried one of his twins sitting by his wife telling us he had got better and be discharged presently.
Likewise the deceit given to us that Umar Yaradua was getting better by some clerics.

The man is brain dead, we understand which can happen to anyone after any accident. But they shouldn't out of selfishness keep the secret to continue using his name to siphon the state fund.

Sometimes, there can be solution within nigerians to the sickness of these people but out of distrust and insecurity from their initial bad governance and route to governance wouldn't wanna open up and be treated in nigeria.
