You should not have to break the bank in trying to attend a business school.Either in Nigeria or abroad.

It is important to note that just like any other business on the face of this planet, the intention of the business is to make money.Yes! Business schools are businesses!

The bottom line is that the schools just want your money, and they get it from you because they make you feel your are part of something greater than your self. Imagine being a Master of Business administration and having to beg for a job. You can't start your own business after spending over $100k. So has the person really Mastered Business Administration.  

I understand there are various benefits of earning an MBA from an Ivy league school. You should understand that the same school that a middle class American or Nigerian will be forced to get a loan for, might be free if the student is on scholarhip, if it's employer sponsored, or paid for by parents from wealthy family or even a successful person. So why assume that everyone needs to get a loan.

So financing an MBA with borrowed funds from the bank is just part of the pile of debt that developed nations saddle their populace with.
So why not give me a loan for $100,000 and watch me flip it like pan cake. Nooo, instead the system believes that it is better to give me a loan in exchange for an education. In return they kill me with intrest.

An MBA is great don't get me wrong, but don't go out of your way to accure more debt in the process, except if you plan on running out of the country  and not repay you loans. Assume a humble posture of a learner and you will realize that knowledge is all around us and usually free.

Am really disappointed that a lot of people are discouraging our brother.
It's a damn shame. In a country where most of the Top corporations out source software development projects.
It makes absolutely no sense for us to loose another software developer which our country greatly needs.
I have background in app development, database management and project management.
And I can tell you after over 10 years in the industry. It is absolutely ok for him to feel that way.
But you must persevere because you must succeed!
For others reading this thread all of you must succeed!Say Amen!
My brother don't be discouraged because those people who are criticizing you are only jealous that you had the guts to go outside your comfort zone.
Only a highly motivated and determined person can do what u did and I commend you.
But don't give up because you may be the next person to write that killer app that will provide solutions to problems out there.
And you may make millions!
Or you may be an encouragement for other as you go along by mentoring others.
For those of you criricizing we have expatriate IT professionals that earn over $1,000 a day.
They are there because you always discourage your own. These people believe you have no sense because you never encourage your own.
You dislike your own, but import not only goods but even Human Capital from other third world countries that are poorer than yours.
We all must remember that book knowledge is good, but actual experience is not taught in schools.
You learn by doing and it is ok to make mistakes. But remember one thing, always keep a backup of your code on your application or database.
So that if you make a mistake you can revert to the original copy and start over.
Know that  you will not always know the answer to everything, but you must find the information by doing research or finding like minds.
This is just one job and there will be many more that are better.This is just one of your stops in the IT field. You will get better pay and benefits with time.
Fellow naralanders if you can be of help assist this brother and God will help you in your own time of need.

It was positioned to be a good estate back in 2006. But I have not seen any advertising from this development recently.

They were selling half and full plot. N 6m for 900sqm plots
N 3.5m for 450sqm plots.

But I don't know if it's liveable.
