My take is: Never take any girl seriouse until it seem she is REALLY interested in you.

Don't give her what you can't afford to lose, even if she ask for it at death point!

Give what you know you can afford to give a fellow guy like you who is in need; in other words treat her as equal as a fellow dude. After all, we are all humans; non is above the other.
I wish i saw dis 2 months ago

An0nimus: Do not take your laptop to camp. Your files alone are way too important to gamble for these 3 weeks. You can send it by courier after camp or drop it at a friend's or family member in CrossRiver (should you have any). Goodlucksmiley
Thank you everyone I think I will just copy all the important files and applications I need to survive to my external hard disk and make use of them from my hard disk until I can get my laptop.
NYSCRe: Batch 'b' 2013 Going To Cross River Meets Here by Tolutheo(m): 7:55pm On Jun 23, 2013
If you are in Lagos and you need price and booking of bus, check http://bus.com.ng it contains various prices from various transport companies.
NYSCRe: NYSC 2013 Batch B House by Tolutheo(m): 11:54pm On Jun 22, 2013
ceezonnifemi: pls its not advisable. Its just three weeks program. So just endure without ur laptop for d duration. Cos camp is quite a different nd strange environment
I understand the 3 weeks of camp is not my problem but travelling back to Lagos to get it is my problem, crossriver-lagos is not a small journey; risk of life, money, time....e.t.c
NYSCRe: NYSC 2013 Batch B House by Tolutheo(m): 11:26pm On Jun 22, 2013
I want to ask if I can take my laptop to camp. I will be travelling to Cross river from Lagos and don't know when next I would come back to Lagos. Pls I need answer asap, my laptop is my means of livelihood.

NYSCRe: Batch 'b' 2013 Going To Cross River Meets Here by Tolutheo(m): 1:28pm On Jun 22, 2013
if you are going to cross river from the west...
Take a bus to onitsha. Then at onitsha ask of Onitsha South Transport Limited Park @
upper Iweka after Toronto hospitaland Board a bus to Ikom, cross river. Its 2K..drop @ Obubra Junction and Take 50 naira Bike to camp..from Lagos
to Onitsha is 6hrs and From Onitsha To Obubra is anoda 6hrs too.
For ur own good... Do not go to calabar. From calabar to NYSC camp obubra is nothing less than 4hrs... So be warned!

For those coming from d east... Go tru onitsha... Or u'll go tru abakaliki, then get a bus to obubra...
Do not enter calabar.

Obubra camp is not wow at all. Its not encouraging. Get an airtek sim o... No mtn servc in camp. No atms too. The sand is red so get easy to wash tennis shoes. Thing arent so expensive dre. Camp food is 250 at the mammy. Try to get associated with NCCF!! You won't regret it, i bet. When you are out of camp, the fun continues. Cross river is a very goid place, peaceful, and neat environ.

Enjoy ur service year... I'm currently a batch A corps member in Calabar
How many hours is Lagos to Calabar?

FamilyRe: Parents: How Do You Identify A Child's Talent? by Tolutheo(m): 10:53am On Jun 04, 2013
Please when pointing out people,s mistake always highlight the error, PLEASE SHOW WHERE I MENTIONED TALENT.
UncleJJ: You started well and ended terribly. Long story short, thier's no such thing as talent - its just a fancy name we give to people who have perfected certain routine task's with repetition.

Want your child to be a talented singer, you as a parent should learn to sing, and sing with the kid. Children naturally gravitate to what the parents do, and are able to repeat boring task's with you - not notices how boring because - in thier minds , am having fun with dad or mum.

You cant teach, if thier's not fun or desire to learn. Get them the whole book's in the world. He might know all the formula's and blah blah.... but since their in no desire or connection to the task - their will be no serious application or attempt to fix problem's using this knowledge.

Forget about talent, and start by teaching your kids at a tender age, what you know - if your a lawyer, teach him what you can, if your a producer, shoe maker , akara seller.

As they grow and time's change - they will innovate and branch to other aspects, refining your art or lesson's to become successes in the society.

Most of the people you call talented - learnt from their parents. Stop deceiving yourselves and start teaching your child at a tender age what you know.

Everyone has a destiny and it is simple to succeed , where we place the most effort and interest - "interest" here is the watch word. Only interest/desire will give you the strength to innovate, combine, question or dare.
