kaysy: Its very obvious that some schools are now indulging in sharp practices to undermine NYSC's effort and the essence to mobilize eligible graduates for National Service, and that's why some full time graduates without admission records with JAMB are able to register at NYSC e-Portal. Since then i have stopped posting anything about this issue.
A clear case of this was a graduate of Fed Poly Nekede whose name failed to show up on NYSC website for Batch B16 e-Reg, when i checked and realized her admission shows "No Admission Offered Yet" she made some calls to her school and within 3hours her name appeared on NYSC site and she registered even with same JAMB Reg number showing no admission offered yet. One other issue was a guy from same school whose JAMB records shows "No Admission Offered Yet" with his own JAMB reg number but his school mobilized him with someone else's JAMB reg number (A university student) when that student will be ready for mobilization, he/she will find it difficult to proceed.
Now that some schools are engaging in sharp practices, i don't think there is need advising people here cos i dont know what ur school does. All these people saying trash here are products of schools with sharp practices and am not surprised anymore. There are more other cases i need not mention. Those whose schools are still upholding the proper ethics of mobilization should please do the right thing.
This is clear case of fighting corruption & corruption is fighting back. Speaking of schools with sharp practices..whose product are you? Which sch berth your pathetic self? News flash,,, I graduated from a highly reputable school known for its no-nonsense policies and VC... FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, MINNA. I won't be surprised if you graduated from a road side polytechnic, for someone who recognises fellow trash spewer like himself!!! Itibolibo like you... Cc @y0rmee |

Mr Man, my own Jamb Reg (that keeps showing No admission offered yet), institution, date of graduation, correct D.O.B, course was on my dashboard(non-edited) and can't be edited like it is with other PCM. Choose four solid states and printed my GREEN CARD, yet Nysc didn't contact me that it's a fraud from my school. kaysy: Please read the instruction below, it will be wise to say what you know too well about. Lemme look for trouble Mr man, u never helped one single bit when I told u of my situation concerning jamb reg number telling me "sorry no admission given yet", instead you left me on tethers and clueless, frightened too as to plenty "what ifs" and "what would I do"...you increased my fears as I dunno if my name will come out for mobilization coz my Jamb reg is no not valid. I have goodnews for u... 1. My name came out for Mobilization the day my sch uploaded names, 2. I was not amongst error list. 3. Did my reg the fourth day reg started(the next day my sch uploaded corrected list). 4. I had no qualms doing my registration..it went hitchfree, no delay in passport upload, thumbprint, JAMB itself brought my correct Date of birth (yet they don't have my record abi), unlike some people who are having issues concerning this. 5. I paid instantly and printed my Green card with my CALL UP NUMBER barely 2mins after I paid.(I didn't have to wait days for ds). Lastly I paid nobody, not even JAMB any "shingbain" for Jamb regularization. How did this happen,,,, "PRAYER and FASTING" and having a good covenant with God, and hoping for a breakthrough which was what God did for me!!! Get lost with your "I too know" and less solution strategy...mcheewwww. Lemme juz see you on GL again dishing out stupid solutions, u go see ursef!!! Cc @y0rmee |

Ii don't quite understand, did your name come out for mobilization?(school list and Nysc list) y0rmee: FUTMx? They can so break one's heart! Only to make you smile at the latter end.
Tomistelle, can you please attend to this? Yomi I myself I'm confused coz this is an issue that should have occur during error list saga. I can remember during batch A, I saw some people paying d 5k for jamb numba, and some who already got d number and trying to update their details with it. I did rems (2008/2009) and that was wen school started making sure rems student sit for jamb.(Fut got forms on our behalf), so I dunno d year he did. his rems. My friends who did rems after me (2009/2010) sat for Jamb too and they have jamb reg number. |

Opeexclusive04: Tomistelle I'm waiting pls... time is running out nd I'm loosing sleep over this Sorry for the delay..first, what year did you do rems? To whom did you pay the jamb reg number to? And what exactly was the feedback you got from student affairs?. I am saying this because a friend of mine wanted doing regularization,so he paid d 5k only for him to be told that why wud he waste 5k coz the getting of new jamb numba is nt necessary (I nearly fell victim myself because my Jamb numba keeps showing "sorry no admission given yet" . Now my question is, do you know of any person(ur mate that u did rems with) who has ds kinda issue and it was resolved? How did he/she go about it? Did his/her name come out for mobilization? Now lemme tell u this, student affairs staff can be cunning and smart, chances are they ain't doing anything to get the number for u, or the opposite so u have to be on their neck. Pls go back to gk, meet them, n ask them when to expect the number b4 uploading of names ends. And lastly, will they upload your name b4 12th Nov? Pls hurry up. Get back to me on what u don't understand ok? Cc @y0rmee |

nanaman: Niger State was created from the then North Western State. It has Minna as it's capital. Other major cities are Bida, Kontagora, and Suleja.Located in the Middle Belt of Nigeria, Niger State. It is the largest Nigerian state by land area.e state has a small majority of Muslims. The state is named for the River Niger. Two of Nigeria's major hydroelectric power stations are located in Niger State: the Kainji dam and the Shiroro dam.
The Nysc camp is located at Former Abubakar, Dada Senior Secondary School), Paiko, Niger State. The distance between Lagos and Paiko is about 640km. It takes an 8 to 12 hour journey by road to arrive there from Lagos, depending on various factors (weather, road condition, traffic, etc).
The city is super hot here. I've become blacker than before. As of now, Niger is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria. Therefore, it wouldn't be tenable to redeploy on the basis on insecurity. smiley
CAMPING
If you are posted to Niger try to come to camp early to get a quick registration and a good hostel to stay if you are late you will live in the class. The soldiers are not bad...very friendly but be careful not to cross their paths cos dey might b very deadly. When you have been given your kits make sure you go to the field whenever you hear the sound cos the consequence is bad....you will frog jump all day.
Depending on where you are posted for ppa. there are corpers lodge in almost every local government area. but in minna accommodation is kinda scarce because most ppa have large number of corpers and few accommodation. There is a state corpers lodge in minna which is very large, but depending on which area u are posted in minna u might want to jus get ur own room especially for privacy purpose.
Niger state is cool only if ur ppa is with in bida, minna, suleja, kontagora, new bussa....Niger state has one of the largest road network in Nigeria
One of the current challenges you might face after camp at the moment though is heat and bad light
AFTER CAMP
There are places you can be posted too for your ppa that will sooth you. This is as a result of how efficient you are on camp. Try as much as possible to participate in one activitity or the other so you can b posted to minna the best place eva cos its the capital... Alot of activies can earn u dat...like football, volleyball, cookin, band, runnin, just try to do somtin...and ofcos dance nd drama...so its ur choic to knw wat u r up to now cos u av been given a run down of wat u will meet on camp
Allawee in Niger State currently stands at N6000. Securing a good paying PPA could add to your income as well. If you like internet connection , I'm happy to inform you that Airtel and Glo are dead fast here. Power supply isn't a luxury for inhabitants of the capital though a lot of inner towns and villages enjoy between 8-24hours daily.
There is a lot of fish and yam to eat there. Come with your pestle and mortal.
SOCIAL LIFE social life it's boring in Niger State The okay towns are Minna, Bida, Lapai, Suleja, Kontagora, Mokwa, New Bussa and Zungeru.
Niger state seems to be peaceful. Accommodation is affordable and food is cheap. It's not a paradise but it ain't hell either although the scorching sun up there might want to disagree. I just hope my PPA falls in Suleja if I don't relocate Need I say more? You have said it all jare I miss minna in a way though, I don't think I miss my school FUTMINNA |

Kindly just quote me The cafe i did mine at ikotun is right behind the BRT terminal(beside spectranet shop i think). The cafe is amongst the row of shops, with few flights of stairs. You will see a nysc logo indicating nysc registeration is being done there. The cafe is quite good. |

[quote author=y0rmee post=49921881]I finished from FUTMinna, and ever since, the school has been so silent on anything about mobilization. They don't paste lists on the Students' affairs board either.
My advice is, look for an insider than can help you make verification (especially to avoid possible errors) and also keep Checking your name on the portal. Don't let your hopes down.
As earlier suggested by Coyy/Ibroh22, verify your school's mobilization history too. That should give you an idea of what you're Into.
Best regards. [call Mr bamidele in student affairs, and confirm if your name is on the list]. |

Pls, I graduated last year, but my school didn't mobilized some of us for batch A, without any reason.Only few made it to batch A. Now, my problem is I checked my Jamb Registration numba and it shows no admission offer yet. Yet some of my friends who had this same problem went for Batch A. Infact most of the people who went for Batch A didnt have admission yet. What could be the problem? And what can I do? Pls Note that, I have my original jamb result with my Jamb registration number on it too, which I did in 2010. |
