EducationRe: Ph.d Studies In Finland by toniapat(op): 11:05pm On Jan 26, 2016
It's good to know you are interested too. My field is Media studies and I have researched and mailed University of Vaasa. It's stated on their website that PhD is completely tuition-free. However, they informed me via e-mail that there will be available phd grants in subsequent years but I will have to pay for the first year.

The requirements are the regular ones (English test, transcripts, Certificates, Research proposal etc)
I plan to apply in November
EducationPh.d Studies In Finland by toniapat(op):
Hi everyone,

Just want to start a thread for Finnish resident scholars and others who are looking to start their Ph.D program in Finland immediately or in the nearest future as the country is one of the promising places to study and work with ease.

I've gone through application requirements for PhD in communication to be precise (University of Vaasa) and am seriously preparing to apply this year (November) I strongly believe that we can be of help to each other in the areas of sharing experience and asking for application and travel advices.

I've mailed my dream school and I have been provided with a fair amount of information. looking forward to further communicate with interested Nairalanders who are interested in this topic.
Wish you a great year ahead

ifyrex: @ miss ope i thought u said u had written CBT and interview or where u joking
Alakoba loore awe. fair enough u only 'thought' she said so..Lmao. For the record, she never said she did. Only hulk has said anything about CBT, interview and the Buddie Buddie thing lately(permit my own version). Plus he's given us useful information on the format of the test, except the interview thing some people demanded for. Yea hulkmc....likely interview questions pls? I know you are wondering 'they aint even done CBT yet' lol

Honestly if I were the one, I'd just google the word. Now the poor guy has caused a fight. Last time I checked too, Gatecrash was in the dictionary; this is to avoid our being misinformed. And Pls Stop Abusing each other. Its human nature to want to have the last words but just ignore.

huh Two wrongs can't make a right. Its obvious that his response was rude but insulting someone like this arouses more exchange of offensive words. Moreover some else already answered the Gatecrash question.Let's just try as much as possible to avoid verbal scuffle; we are all adults. In short ignoring some things is the best.

Miss Ope: Yeah I wanted to say u shld apply via careers@etisalat.com but it's like hulk is saying another like applying online Whc I don't seem to understand.
When u register on their website, u can do everything doable on a PC if you are using a smartphone or blackberry. Go to options on the menu keypad and unblock pop-ups from the list of items so u can add country and address which can get u stuck. Since hulk applied for a post he's not even called for but for customer care, apply for any post u think is close to wot u want as they have like 7 available posts as at this morning. The koko is to be called for test..abi. Goodluck. cool

Guys u can try to fwd ur cv to the mails above if you live outside Lagos and there is no means to reach mactay. I live in Lagos but I'm in Cross-river for a function right now. The first mail addy is a recruitment mail add and it was used for recruitment last month. The second is their contact mail. I sent my cv to the two mails and it was delivered though not sure which office gets it. Its just a 'halfbread' idea from me o jare. There's no harm in trying.

@wrestlers_ we r supposed to be nice o....stop fighting before I ask u to kneel down!

[quote author=adeza]i was invited for an aptitude test with Global streams 15 Adekunbi crescent off oluwaleyimu str by Allen junction Ikeja. Shey its a scam because I ddnt even bother going.I cudnt remember applyin for the job sef.

This is not pride but I have a good resume and I get invited for tests/interview often so I know wot a real thing is and I just can't fall for all this bull ****. Please let us be wise. When I get msgs wit these fake tags identified here, I call them back to give them d beating of their life with my vocabulary of koboko so they don't mess with my contact again. I mean..that's a high degree of personal data violation! The country is just so messed up now and we have to accept that so the best thing is to be wise. Don't be taken in by these black mambas. Even those people preaching that some of these fake HR agents are REAL cannot speak good English!!! How can someone who has no right to my resume invite me for an interview! For what post? In what org? Then to make matters worse, they start asking for money! Ridiculous hungry vipers! Even the real one; I never go finish. Aha! Mi o nse LEARNER NA!
