Apart from products you may be using that may be causing breakage, there are other things that can cause it as well maybe the techniques you use when washing and deep conditioning your hair. If you are not sure about a particular product you can post your comment so we can determine whether it is right for you. |
Have you been trying to take care of your hair? You wash it and deep condition but still it seems that every time you wash it your hair keeps falling out. Now washing and deep conditioning have a purpose washing the hair is supposed to clean it by removing product build up, dirt and deep conditioning should condition and nourish your hair. The two together should work to give you healthier, longer hair. However if you find that with washing and deep conditioning you are getting serious breakage. You need to examine some things i.e. the products you use. I share in this wash day post how a certain product I bought was causing issues with my hair. Please click the link to find out more: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/06/wash-day-post-breakthrough-for-my-hair.html?m=1 |

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask and remember that the ends of our hair are the oldest part of your hair and so they need to be treated with extra care. |
Yes relaxers are a time when you may want to go to the salon to get your professionally done. However for something as simple as washing and deep conditioning they can be done at home. Ladycloud: |
Do you often retouch your hair and find that you have undergrowth/new growth but when you finish with the relaxer you find that your hair did not grow? Or are you natural and you have been natural for years and your hair does not seem to grow? People of African descent have hair which grows just like hair of other races. The main difference with our hair is that though it grows it also breaks almost as fast as it grows that is why most people remain at shoulder length or shorter for a long period of time. The neglect of the ends of your hair may be the reason for your not retaining length. To find out how to care for the tips of your hair please follow the link: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/06/how-to-grow-your-hair-and-retain-length.html?m=1 |
For anyone who is serious about growing long and healthy hair, you need to put your own hair growth into your hands. You can actually wash your own hair at home or get a friend, family member to help you this will ensure that you achieve longer and healthier hair. If you do not wash your hair properly either because you don't know how or the hair salon where you go to wash your hair does not wash it well, this may prevent your hair from growing well as you may not be retaining length. There are many things to note when washing and deep conditioning your hair at home. One of which is that when you are shampooing your hair you should apply the shampoo to your scalp alone, the only time you will need to apply shampoo to your entire hair is when you are washing your hair after relaxing it. Another tip is to apply deep conditioner to the hair in sections concentrating on the tips and the roots. For an article on everything I did on the day I washed my hair please check this post below: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/05/wash-day-post-next-day-hair.html For how to shampoo your hair please click this link: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2012/08/shampooing-how-to-shampoo-relaxed-hair.html If you have any questions on washing your hair or other hair related questions, please ask and I will respond. |

Remember that you don't have to use expensive human hair wigs to grow your hair there are many synthetic wigs that can be used which are cheaper and more affordable. |
If your hair has been breaking or shedding excessively or if you have experienced some form of damage from coloring, relaxers, and so on, it is important that you allow your hair sometime to rest so that you can treat it and nurse it back to health. Wigs are an excellent way to take care of your hair and if they are worn correctly and you take care of your hair properly, you can achieve a lot of hair growth whilst wearing wigs. However there is a wrong way and right way to wear wigs, if you would like to know how to wear wigs to help you to achieve long and healthy hair, please click the link below: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/05/how-to-grow-your-hair-wearing-wigs.html If you have any questions feel free to ask and I would do my best to explain. |

Thank you for sharing your experience with using heat on your hair. Generally speaking too much heat is not good for the hair. |
Does anyone have any positive or negative experiences to share about using heat on their hair? Do let us know. |
Have you ever wondered why your hair is dry and breaking? Does your hair feel brittle, with little to no volume due to its shedding and breakage? A reason for this could very well be related to the amount of heat you put on your hair. If you are always blow drying and using hair straighteners and curling tongs on your hair this may be a reason for all the problems you are experiencing with your hair. All the forms of heat I mentioned are direct sources of heat. To find out the difference between direct and indirect heat and why you should stop using excessive heat on your hair, read and share my blog post on "5 reasons you should not constantly use heat on your hair". Please click the link below: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/04/5-reasons-why-you-should-not-use-heat.html |
