Trimming may actually in the long run help your hair to grow longer. |
Hello everyone, if you want to know the best way to relax your hair to prevent over processing, burns on your scalp as well as damage to your hair, my latest blog post would be helpful. I also share how I trimmed my hair at home after getting it relaxed making sure that I cut it at the best length. It is important to trim our hair once in a while as this can prevent breakage. For more information and pictures please follow the link below: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2017/02/my-relaxer-update-trimming-my-hair.html |
You can try a shorter wig so that you can experience less heat. In my own opinion you are not likely to get as hot with a wig because you can take it off when you are done compared to weave-on or braids. Wig generates heat to my hair. |
If you are wondering why your hair has not been growing, there may be several reasons for this. However one way to encourage your hair to grow and to promote length retention is by wearing wigs. Wigs are an excellent way to make your hair to grow. Please refer to my blog post on how wigs would make your hair grow and the best ways to use them to promote healthy hair growth. Here is the link: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2017/01/3-reasons-why-wigs-would-grow-your-hair.html |
Has anyone ever tried Henna? |
Some of us may want to dye our hair, yet we may not want to expose our hair to harsh chemicals from box dyes. If you want to dye your hair brown, black or you want to have some reddish highlights, henna & indigo just might be your answer. Apart from dyeing the hair they also impart a lot of benefits to the hair i.e. they condition and strengthen the hair. I have shown how we can use henna & indigo to achieve various colours in our hair in the blog link below: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/11/dying-hair-with-henna-indigo.html If you have any questions or comments, please share and I will respond. |
If you have dry/breaking hair and you are looking for a moisturiser to try, please read my latest blog post which is a review of the Lotta Body Curl & Style Milk. I also share pictures of how my hair looked after I applied this product, here is the link: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/11/product-review-lotta-body-moisturise-me.html |
Hope you have been able to read how to properly relax hair by going to the link. |
Hello everyone I relaxed my hair recently, actually I texlaxed my hair this means when you use a relaxer in your hair and you leave your hair slightly under processed so that it still has some texture left in it. To find out more about texlaxing and other healthy hair care habits, please refer to my blog. Anyway for this blog post I stated everything I did the night before in preparation for getting my hair relaxed. I also state how my hair was texlaxed properly. If you know that your hair is breaking and shedding after relaxing it, please read this post so that you can know what to do to prevent this from happening in the future. If you want to know how you can get long, healthy hair then please follow the link and don't forget to share with others who might find it beneficial: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/10/relaxer-update.html |

Hello everyone, do you experience a situation where every time you comb your hair it breaks off? If you continue experiencing breakage anytime you comb your hair then your hair may not be able to grow long. Apart from the possibility that the reason for hair breakage anytime you are combing it might be as a result of unhealthy hair care practices. It is important to know the proper ways to comb our hair to make sure that it does not break off anymore than is necessary. Please read and share my blog post where I explain in detail the best ways to detangle our hair so as to avoid breakage. If you have any questions or comments you can leave them below and I will respond. Thanks. Your post is not related to the topic. If anyone knows where we can find Indian Oils and powders for hair please share. |
Hope we can all try out this method of oiling to grow our hair. |
Hello everyone, I am sure that we all know that Indians have the most beautiful, long hair in the entire world. It is true that a huge part of this has to do with genetics however there are also certain practices they implement to make their hair grow long and healthy. An important aspect of what they do involves oiling their hair and I will be sharing how Indians oil their hair and the oils they use. This is something we can all do as it is very simple and the benefits include longer, thicker hair. If you try out this type of oiling, share how it goes for you, also if you have any questions or comments I will be sure to answer them. Here is the link to the post: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/08/indian-practices-for-growing-longer.html |
For men experiencing balding they can also try using a shampoo that is not too harsh to wash their hair. |
If your hair is breaking in front i.e. your edges I would advise that you read this post here http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2012/09/how-to-regrow-your-hairlineedges.html which states everything you need to do to stop this from happening. However if you are referring to male pattern baldness or when a man starts balding there are several things that can be done including massaging the balding area with a potent hair growth stimulating oil to encourage blood flow and circulation to that area. |
Many of us have hair that does not lay in a straight line across our back, this happens because the hair is breaking. So even where your hair is shoulder length or longer you may find that the ends look uneven or for some people the middle part of their hair is shorter than the sides of their hair. Hair breakage can occur in the middle of our hair, it can also occur at the ends, the edges, etc. Even if you cut your hair to make everything equal it is possible that your hair will grow like that again because you have not treated the problem. To prevent this from happening you need to treat the hair in the middle of your hair so that you will stop experiencing breakage in that area. Please read and share my blog post on how to stop hair breakage in the middle of your hair, here is the link: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/08/how-to-stop-hair-breakage-in-middle-of.html Please note that these tips can also be applied to other areas of your hair where you are experiencing breakage. If you have any questions or comments feel free to share them. |

Don't forget to ask any questions you might have on relaxed or texlaxed hair. Or any other hair related question. |
Do you keep on relaxing your hair and getting burns? Does your hair keep on breaking and shedding every time you get it relaxed? The reason for this could be because you are not relaxing your hair properly. If you do not relax your hair properly it will keep breaking and shedding. Even if you are getting it done at the hair salon you need to instruct the hair stylist on what to do. To find out how to properly relax your hair plus to see how long my hair is now, please read this post here: http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/08/my-relaxer-update.html If you have any questions on relaxers please leave them here or on my blog and I will be sure to answer. Here is a picture of my relaxed hair after getting it texlaxed.

If you have any questions on how to get your hair thicker after reading my blog post, please ask so that we can make this topic interactive. |
I am sure everyone wants thicker hair because it is really beautiful and when your hair is thick even if it is not too long you do not need to always fix your hair or braid it. Everyone should be able to wear their own hair without extensions and feel proud and happy about how their hair looks. If you want to know everything I have learnt and all I did to get my hair thicker please click the link below. I also share pictures of how thick my hair is now in the link below. Your hair can be just as thick if you do some of the things I listed. Please read and share. Thanks. http://wurassecrethair..com.ng/2016/07/how-to-grow-thicker-hair.html |
