I'm not a fan of roadside parties and shops that play loud music. In my opinion, both should be banned outright. However, neither is the subject of discussion or the bill, and if you feel strongly enough about it, feel free to take it up with your local representative.

It doesn't, however, give room for you to constitute a nuisance to other citizens. They also have rights. It's well within their rights not to be disturbed by your preaching regardless of their religious affiliation and this bill partly seeks to address that.

We've been hearing of plans to islamize Nigeria since time immemorial. In all this time, at least 70% of our presidents and vice-presidents have been Muslims. How come it is still yet to occur. When will you guys just accept it's a conspiracy theory promoted by people who aren't comfortable with the fact that someone in the seat of power is a Muslim?

Do point out where it was in the Bible that Jesus went about with a megaphone disturbing the public peace? What stops you from meeting people individually and talking to them. You think one saved soul is worth God knows how many other pissed off souls? Individual evangelism respects your right to evangelise and your listeners right to agree or refuse to listen to you. You shouldn't take that right away from them by force.

What about your power generating set?

What about cars on the road that mks terrible noise?

And mosque calling muslims for prayers?

Should that be ban too? Obviously NO!!!

I saw how you avoid answering those questions ....lol

But it's ok.

Anyway You obviously got my statement wrong at the first paragraph of my previous write up, this is what I mean, if the purpose of the bill was reduction of noise pollution.... shops and car blasting music would have been included.....but it isnt.

I still don't see how preaching public places causes nuisance or detrimental to health in our africa society.

For years public preaching has been legal in Nigeria, so what's happening now?
It's not directly or indirectly connected to the problem of this country( you can correct me if I am wrong)

my brother you should read about the "abuja declaration of 1989" then come back and tell me if you still think Islamisation of Nigeria is a conspiracy

Here is the link on wikipedia

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abuja_Declaration_(1989)

Yes and now about Jesus...... during the time there was no Megaphone, but it was recorded all over in the bible how he preached in public places, I don't think he preach in public place in a whisper.

Also the apostles did same, on pentecost day,
They prayed and preached in various tongues.......they were whispering either sir.

I am not against anybody practising his or her religion, I am from Edo north and most of my family member are muslims, as a matter of fact when I was in Nigeria I do travel back home for salah celebration out of love and nothing more.

Also try and read about how turkey was turned into an islamic nation..... then compare with the state of things (religiously)
In Nigeria.

Oga preaching in your street didn't piss you off, it was the fact you sleep was disturbed that got you pissed... same way you would haave being pissed if anything else woke you....lol

Thanks

senbonzakurakageyoshi:

My brother, it is noise. Public spaces are meant for everyone regardless of religious or tribal affiliation and everyone is free to use them the way they want, so long as they don't disturb others. What if someone who doesn't want to listen to your message owns a shop I'm the same motor park? Should he/she relocate because of you? If you approach people individually and talk to them, you give them that choice of agreeing or refusing to give you audience. By using a loudspeaker or megaphone, you are taking that choice away from them by force which is ultimately a breach on their rights as equal citizens of this country.

There’s used to be this man that would walk up and down my street every morning by 6:30 am, preaching with a megaphone, and waking people who want to get that last bit of sleep in before they have to drag themselves up and go to work or school before they want to. The funny part is that majority of the residents of my street are Christians and he was eventually banned from entering the street by the street chairman. You know the ironic part. The street chairman is also a pastor.

Ok cool, what about public transport that and shops plays loud music?

What about road side parties?

What about Mosques that do that daily call for prayers?

What about your own generator that makes a lot of noise?

If it were a thing of noise don't you think it would have been stated in the proposed bill and my about options should also be added?

Bear in mind that, the constitution gives room to public preaching without hindrance.

They say no man is bigger than the constitution (law)

We've heard too much rumour of plans to islamize Nigeria, look at what happened in turkey.... and that's what has put everybody on the edge, we've learnt from history that Nigerians fail to learn from history.

Kaduna is very unstable, being divided by religious crisis it has a north and a south, the is mainly dominated by the muslims, if church could be burnt in the south going to the northern part to preach openly is like suicide I don't think that public preaching is a problem in the northern part of Kaduna....

Sir and about your street preaching,if you are a christian, you agree with me that, evangelism is a commandment from God (as stated in the bible) you never can't tell soul that has been saved from the preaching.

Somebody gave a testimony in my church, how he was ill and couldn't go about preaching, some persons in the street started asking questions... that tells you, some people actually do listen to to those preaching.

God has different ways of reaching out to us.

Thanks

The point I still don't get is this, how does it affects you negatively, if I carry mic to preach in motor parks? How does it affect you negatively if I rent a shop to preach d word of God and call it a church?

Nobody Is forced into any church or to believe any gospel.

It's also not bravery for a so called man of God to wish death on another person. If Suleiman want us to take his prophecy about El-Rufai seriously, he should tell us the exact date that he will die or else, we will continue to call him out as a fake and fraudulent pastor.

Romance / Re: Ever Meet Up For Anonymous Sex ? by tonybosses: 3:26am On Apr 02, 2016
MRBrownJ:

yes i have met a few, but there is one that will always stick in my mind as a sweet memory.... i was living in Shanghai back then and some gal started chatting with me through Msn, she had gotten my email God knows where. anyway, we talk and get into the adult stuff, and she tells me she is somehow famous in China and that she liked me, and her fantasy is to be with a black guy bla ba bla, i ask her for a face pic but she refused but sends me nude body pics (and the body is banging!). so we finally arrange to meet at her place and that i will give her a French massage in the dark and take it from there (dont ask me what a French massage is, its some shiiit i invented). but there was just one issue, the deal was that the light had to be dimmed so that i would see where i am going or what i am doing but not enough to see who she really is. i was a bit reserved at 1st because i was thinking maybe its a transgendered or when i get there some guys jump out of the closet and rob my black aasss. but anyway she gave me her number etc, and as she seemed genuine, i decided to go meet her one evening.

i took a cab to the place and realize she lived in a posh part of Shanghai, got there, buzz my way in and as i get to the floor, the door was already opened and i heard a voice said "over here". i went in, the place was dark, so i am checking around and quickly figured out that the person living there wasnt poor. i sat close to her on the sofa and she asked me what i wanted to drink but i was still on my "watch out it may be a scam" mood so i declined. we started talking for a bit in the dark, 15/20mins, and then, as we started laughing, i got closer to her. she was wearing some light nighty, and i just pull her towards me and we started kissing. i could feel that this woman was very excited about everything that was happening, and as i started playing with her big fake tittays (i knew i was on a winner here), she took my hand off and said:"wait, you owe me a massage"....and got up, and led me to a bedroom close by. so she takes her nighty off, and lay on that bed. i ask for the oil and start massaging that stranger.... neck, shoulders, back, legs etc, i touched it all, and then i started to kiss her neck/back while i can hear her starting to moan. i then massaged her feet, and with her legs spread open, i caress my way back up till the inner of her thighs and realise that this gal's panties were dripping wet. thats when the massage was over and we got down to business. i fukced that Chinese gal like she stole something from me, and whatever fantasy she was aiming for, she got it all. when i was done, we chatted 5mins more and i got up and left.

we met again 3/4 times, and each times i never saw her face but the massage/sex was always as rewarding, and its only after the 5th time that i finally saw her face, as she got up to go to the bathroom. we laughed about it, but i still didnt have a clue who she was, and later found out she was some very famous Chinese gal who had one of the biggest whatever firm in Shanghai. funny, but after that, i used to meet her in parties all over Shanghai all the time (thats not an easy task in such a huge city). we have stayed in contact even after i left China, met her once in Europe, and we are still friends on FB til this day.

i have done that a few times over the years and fukced a few women in front of their husband (swingers). but i did try to do it again and meet a total stranger in Buenos Aires and it was a NIGHTMARE. we planned everything and unfortunately this time she only wanted me to see her face. i was suppose to pick her up at her job (she worked in some theater) and as i got there, she calls and said she would be 20mins late... and as i am waiting outside, i see some people looking through a window and making fun of me. i was like WTF?! then this gal comes out, and let me just say that she was HUUUUUUUGE! there was fat everywhere, that gal was so big, i was ashamed to even walk by her side (yeah i am shallow like that). apparently she had told her colleagues that she was going on a sex date with a French black stallion bwaaaaaah!
yeah, we had planned to go back to my place but there was NO WAY i was gonna mount that gal, there was nothing appealing there. so as we were walking back, i created some BS emergency situation where i had to leave unfortunately bla bla and bounced. funny enough i too still have her on my FB, and by the look of things, she hasnt changed.
