PoliticsRe: OSUN 2014: APC, PDP Trade Accusations Over Rice-for-vote by tonytony208(m): 6:00pm On Jul 20, 2014
I still believe dar If aregbesola had done his job of governance well, pdp wont be here reducing the value of their votes to a bag of rice. This is not to say am supporting omisore; he too is a questionable xter. Aregbesola is distributing rice and omisore is distributing rice, which means d two are the same.

Davidolives: yes there is improvement but we can't run away from the truth.this team played 11 international matches and they won only one in which the opposing team scored but it was cancelled
what i noticed anyway is that they improved with every match during the WC. I also noticed that all the teams we played with were rated higher than us by fifa. Getting draw against superior teams is a plus. Don't forget that one of such draws was against italy (2-2 draw). A developing team like SE scoring 2 goals against Italy isn't child play. Bro, let's face facts; SE has improved more than what obtained in 2011. Don't forget that growth, development and improvement is a gradual process. It will still take time for them to reach where we want them to be, but we must celebrate what we have already achieved while looking forward to a better tomorrow.

TheClown: That bastard Solomon in that article does not represent northern Christians, he is a stupid idiot, slave. This country cannot break, we will not allow it, you know why? The moment you southerners leave, we the middlebelters would become the southerners of the murderous north and you know what that mean. The only way this country can break peacefully is if you southerners take us with you because the north would not allow us to be on our own.
you guys can also form your own country. No one can stop you.
PoliticsRe: 2015: Northern Youths Call For Dissolution Of Nigeria by tonytony208(m): 1:40pm On Jul 18, 2014
SonofMan06: It seems there is a lot you don't know about the middle belt region of Nigeria. If you talk about the Tiv and the Idoma people of Benue State being the same as the southerners in outlook, I would agree with you. But talking of the people of other minority tribes in the same region, you are are wrong there. They are the same as the Ahusas and the Foolanis. The Igbiras and the Igalas belong to the Arabic religion. I have been to all the states in middle belt including to Kwara where I graduated at the University of Ilorin. They are all arabic in religion apart from the people of Benue, a state 100% in christianity and similar to the South-East in outlosstrok.
he is not referring to their religion, but their ethnicity and tribe. The ilorin you are talking about is made up of up to 80 to 90% yoruba. I know because i live there. Believe it or not, middle belterns dont like being identified with hausa/fulani. They are wiser now; they know hausas only bring them under the arewa umbrella when they (hausa/fulani) need population superiority over the rest of us.

frainc: can you pls tell me how south south will be worse?
a lot of reasons bro.

1. Oyel will cause divisiojn. Everyone will want to take charge and cut off his chunk. Unrest is sure to ensue. Dont forget that there are lots of tribes and languages in the SS.

2. Oyel will finish very soon. And when it does, what shall be left to share? And if oyel money had not been well invested, only God knows what will be the outcome.

3. Asari dokubo and his boys will be thorns in the flesh of constituted authority. They may even want to be the kingmakers. Anyone who doesn't do their wills may never govern successfully. Don't forget they have weapons. The only possible solution is if they are incorporated into the military or police force. Considering that many of them are even illiterates makes such prospect unpalatable.

SonofMan06: Gen Buhari or no Gen Buhari the country must be divided. Yerubos or no Yerubos the country must be split. All the Yerubos must be relocated from the South-West to the North to be joined with their fellow Arabs, the Ahusas and the Foolanis.
you sound like you are the one that will do the division

Donmarrius: Only the evil children of Oduduwa, that doesn't have the ball,to demand for their own independence.

How i wish Northern elites will support this good development, and let everybody go their way.

I love north, because they always mean business like we Igbos.unlike the cowards from the waste, called yorobbers, who has the penchant, for chickening out at the crescendo of events.

Long Live Great Biafra!

Long Live Arewa Republic

Long Live Ogoni Republic

These are those, who has the ball!.

Others should decide their fate.

Please no
ragos (lagos) should have about 40% of its population as igbos and about 90% of them are into bisineesi (business). If the South West (as you call it) decides to heed your advice, what then will happen to your bisineesi in ragos? I've not started on how you have populated other yoruba lands like ilorin, ibadan, ore, akure, ondo, abeokuta and so on. Now if your wish comes to pass and you all have to relocate to biafra, where will you relocate to? On top of gully eroded lands? SW has nothing to lose believe me. We had a way of living during regional govt; we will simply go back to it. And if you had been current you would have known that the SW was the first to demand for separation or parliamentary system at the confab.

in my opinion bro, SW, SE and the north won't regret it. I only fear for the southsouth. They will be worse for it.

Koolmexxi: Well u obviously didn't read thru d OP's post to understand what point he's trying to make and the deep lying issues with Nigerian football he pointed out. How many players from junior age competitions have made it to the Super Eagles in d last 5 years? U clearly pointed out how d '94 team building started from 88. Well it is dumber to think Nigerian football is improving despite our world cup performances.
yeah we have improved. If the 2010 or 2011 brand of SE were the ones that faced that Argentina team with their in form messi in the WC, we would have been impregnated with lots of unreplied goals. I guess only the dumbest of souls will not see improvement in that team.

shame on you!!!

if the gov had done his job of bettering the lot of the pple will he have to be serving them rice that will only give them temporary enjoyment now? If the rice is distributed by pdp, it is for political inducement. But if is from apc, it is progressive rice. This is why apc will lose woefully in 2015. You give the impression you have the solution to nigeria's problem; but at each turn, you prove you aren't better than PDP.

GetUmad: And you termed that impunity? in Gej's voice, Nigerians are very funny, just ordinary order restoration they would call it impunity.

Students and that aggressive spirit called Aluta. it keeps causing them more pain than they could ever imagine. I'm sure the bank must have pasted a notice at the bank entrance to that effect, but given that gra-gra spirit known with students , they would have disregarded the information and called it bluff. Imagine some demanding reasons for early closure. Don't they have the right to review their opening and closing period again at will? Of course I understand its inhumane to have suddenly changed the time given d fact some people would have sojourned long distance for an urgent transaction, but A humble plea would have sufficed.
Anyone who passed through the 4 walls of any public tertiary institution in Nigeria could imagine how the drama would have played out before the bank could go the length of inviting law enforcement officer to calm down the situation.

toh OP , sorry oooo.
but you were not there were you? How come you sound so sure about an issue you never witnessed? And do you think the dean of students affairs would have been involved if the students were actually on "aluta" mission?

SportsRe: Wenger: Eagles Lack Organization by tonytony208(m): 1:57am On Jul 18, 2014
jaytee01: Unfortunately all he said was true. However, this is an indictment of Keshi who instead of looking for ways to improve his tactical awareness and competence, is busy exposing his greed and looking for who to blackmail.
why will you see the right path, but decide to head for the bush? Wenger said their lack of organization was due to "conditions that were not right". Wenger was indicating the match bonus squabbles that occurred before the match and not the tactical inability of the coach. Were you reading this from the back of the screen or what? Why will you just look for every opportunity to bring keshi down like APC seeking to bring PDP down even when the reasons are stupid and untrue?

Koolmexxi: And those who celebrate mediocrity will come out to remind us how we've not made d round of 16 or even won a game since 1998...
and are they wrong? When last did you reach last 16? Am asking you, when last? I wonder how some of you analyze issues. You dont consider your past history,'but decide your incomplete analysis based on current situation. Yet you all claim you understand football. Disgustingly, some of you start comparing these team to 1994 team. Do you know when 1994 set started their grooming as a team? That was 1988; 6 years b4 1994. Do you still remember when the current team started together? 2 years ago. It is dumb, very dumb to compare the two.
Even fifa recognized how wonderful the team was by pushing us 10 places; i mean 10 good places up fidfa ranking, but nigerians themselves seem to be hell bent on drawing us down.
SportsRe: Nigeria Moves 10 Spots On Latest FIFA Ranking by tonytony208(m): 9:24pm On Jul 17, 2014
This simply means keshi was not as bad as some pple want us to swallow. Siasia's style brought eagles very low on ranking (2011). Keshi's style (though heavily criticized by oliseh, siasia subtle campaigners) pushed eagles up. We are not there yet but we are on the way. One thing we must do to move higher is to keep faith with keshi.

danot1030: Dis administrative is going down d history as d most ruthless against d opposition using every tool to coarse d opposition.
i remember the same administration had been called very weak by the same opposition. Tinubu once called his president unbecoming names, but gej kept quiet. Buhari did his, yet gej was looking like lucozade. Hell rufai too said all sorts, but gej was looking on like mumu. Well for your information, you have pushed him to the wall and he is striking back. You had your own share of unabated fun, now gej is having his. I suspect him that is laughing last will laugh better; no matter what hell rufai has to say. But how come the man you labelled clueless is having upper hand in this game of chess? He has bypassed your pawn (hell rufai). He converted another pawn to his side ( ffk). He has taken down your bishop (fayemi). He has dismantled your castle (nyako). He may soon behead your knight (aregbesola). Then what shall happen yo your queen (Tinubu)? Yet, you still dare call him clueless! When he finishes checkmating your king (buhari), you will still be calling him clueless.
