Nobody is against the Coastal Highway. We want it completed fast.

The issue is PROCESS, not the President.

1. The road is not finished. You name monuments after leaders AFTER they leave office and AFTER the project is delivered. That’s how it’s done worldwide.
2. A 750km federal road belongs to 230 million Nigerians. It requires National Assembly and public consultation, not just "powers conferred on a Minister".
3. George Bush Highway in Ghana was named by GHANAIANS for a foreign donor. This is NIGERIA naming OUR road after OUR sitting President. Different thing.



But "concerned Nigerians" don't need to submit their names to you before they can speak. This is democracy.

Naming a road after a sitting President, before completion, without NASS approval sets a bad precedent. Tomorrow another govt will do the same.

China's leader is openly atheist and China has a broad policy of strong focus on STEM. Look where they are today because they put their faith in human capacity for delivering solutions and not religion and miracles..

Nigerians are in church every day of the week at all hours Whereas citizens of all nation are socio-economically productive in the week and only in church on Sunday.

Over-religiousity is part of the problem of Nigeria and a conscious effort must be made to curb it as Soludo is doing in Anambra.
