Eba50:Okay. Keep fooling yourself. |
Lol. Sowore should learn to think and talk like a proper man. He polled under 30k votes in 2023 Presisdential election while Tinubu won with millions of votes. Does Sowore not recognise that serious and principled men should refrain from sounding like a joke? Guyman should go and rest ojare. He is nothing but a rabble rouser. Never a serious politicians and it shows with how Nigerians , with their votes, show they do not believe in him. |
Eba50:Another emotional felow not ready to do reality. Most SS Leaders are precisely like Wike. Ready to do and spend anything to ensure Tinubu wins in 2027 as Wike pulled off in Rivers in 2023. Nothing sadder in life than an adult who cannot work with reality. Dey whine yourself na. We will revisit your emotional outlook after 2027 election. |
You guys and your prejudices plus half-baked understanding of the socio-economic affair of nation.s FG owes that debt and will pay it. Not individual Nigerians. Have they sent you a message demanding you pay higher tax or a debt relief fund? I don't get you guys and how you think and talk ignorantly. "Every Nigeria now owes 724,000 Naira" ba? How is that going to be collected from the 65% of Nigerians employed in the informal sector not even identified on any database or registered to pay tax? Are Government officials at your door debt-collecting? Stop scare-mongering emptily about debt which is never a bad thing if aiding national development and can be comfortablly repaid by the FG. We borrow because of how undiversified, and solely reliant on crude oil earnings, the Nigerian economy is. Loans, used well by a Government that knows what it is doing, will more than pay for itself a million times if it improves the socio-economic success of Nigeria. |
WhiteIverson:DSS is another Division of our intelligence and armed forces that Northerners, sympathetic to terrorists and bandits, form the largest numbers. Intelligence, critical for success against terrorism and banditry, is being compromised by members of our armed forces from the North. Bwala speaks correctly. One thing many are not noting is that there is currently a groundswell ofsupport for Tinubu. Progressive Nigerians from all ethnic group are backing Tinubu because they know devilish elements in the North must be confronted and there must be a concerted effort to put them in their place before they destroy our nation. Let us talk honestly amongst ourselves. Though I don't approve of it, "Northern Hunters" were lynched in Edo showing how quickly a people can quickly deal with what they view a security threat. Which Nigerian adult is dumb enough to think bandits and terrorists, probably 60k in numbers, cannot be dealt with if Northerners, leaders and followers in their many millions, are not their tacit supporters? We must take Northerners to task and force them to reform otherwise we have to move to the next best option which is secure ourselves through State Policing, Regional autonomy or even outright separation of North and South Nigeria as happened in Sudan. |
aswani:Yes na. It is Nigerians who are over-emotional, and over-sentimental. Many, in other nations of the world are not like that. Embarrassing how he kept touching the guy because Nigerian leaders want to use over-familiarity to ingratiate themselves with others rather than rely on facts alone. You failed in the NE and NW. Oyinbo, dealing with facts, presents this crucial information to Obi and he is dancing around as usual insisting he won the 2023 Presidential election. |
Walahi, Obi is so dull. See how the Oyinbo dude took him to task easily while him and his kinsmen continue to insist Obi won 2023 election when he came third because of his poor performance in the NE and NW. I would say the SE should be ashamed of him but I know many from the region don't do facts and reality and are behind him for the same reason they queued behind Nnamdi Kanu. The SE, if full of progressive people who genuinely mean well for Nigeria, should only be talking about leaders like Soludo, Mbah, Umahi, Otti etal as Presidential material. Not Obi a certified bigot, lair, dishonorable individual ( "the day I leave APGA is the day I die") and dullard. |
PulaPower:Absolutely. It isn't even close. Tinubu is the absolute truth. The issue is that many Nigerian are ethno-religious bigots so they will deny PBAT credit for his outstanding work. Look at the outstanding work of Tunji-Ojo, Umahi, Wike Bosun Tidjani, Festus Keyamo etal. There is hardly a leader not delivering under PBAT. I remember visiting Ghana years ago and noting their airport e-Gates. I was depressed thinking Nigeria, so-called giant of Africa, did not have same at the time.. Tunji-Ojo has done it. Umahi nko? Super Minister delivering 8 inches quality concrete roads everywhere that will last at least 60 years. Wike, best FCT Minister by far ever. I watched him giving a speech saying fifty major projects have been commissioned so far and 20 more will be commissioned before the end of the years. Keyamo, brilliant dude and achiever transforming our aviation sector. Professor Muhammad Ali Pate doing well as Health Minister. So many leaders under Tinubu were selected as the best available , typical of PBAT, and are performing. We are only arguing on Nairaland because ethno-religious sentiments and rivalry make Nigerians enemies of themselves . Otherwise it will be obvious, given what is being delivered, Tinubu is by far the best President Nigeria has had since 1999. As a leader, it is only Awolowo I rate above PBAT but I think another four years will make Tinubu fully match or surpass all Awolowo achieved. |
lookinggood:No. It is Tinubu. Nigeria needs to become a developed nation like Singapore. Only Tinubu is bravely implementing the reforms, though punitive in the short term, that will push our nation towards developed nation status. Tinubu is best by far. OBJ did not implement one single major reform. Neither did Yar Adua, Jonathan and Buhari. With Tinubu, so many fundamental reforms delivered transforming Nigeria. We have the best performing stock market in the world today (fact check me) while our central bank is 2026 winner of world central bank of the year award we have never won because of the fiscal reforms of Cardoso. Fuel subsidy removal has turned Nigeria into a huge construction site of quality infrastructure delivery because Governors, LG Chairmen etal are getting up to 300 to 400% more funding than they had before. I might come across rude but it is not intentional. The issue is that I just don't understand how some of you guys, as adults, reason. Do you know what it takes for nations to become developed and first world? Do you understand what we need to do to get there and you are talking about debt relief? Access to higher education (NELFUND) to improve our human resources capacity, great infrastructure, especially transport, facilitating movement of goods and services, availability of money for political administrators to use transforming live of Nigerians. SME proliferation, economy substantially diversified away from crude oil earnings alone, Strong Naira with truly reflective value, greater industrialisation, trading surplus with other nations of the world , greater export of good and services etc. How many of the above did OBJ impact on as Tinubu is doing? If we are being sincere and critical-thinking adults, who has had the greatest impact in that sense than Tinubu since 1999? |
Forumers watch the reel to note what sensible people are saying about Obidients. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/189YqQwcY5/ |
Zidac:Typical petty Nigerian. Logically invalidate my claims against Obi if you can. |
@OP. Deception is in the DNA of you guys. Why the thread topic that does not match the message? |
Mrexcell:Lol? Tribal hate on Obi? You people's hypocrisy never fail to amuse me. Obi who tagged Ngige Yoruba candidate , because he ran on ACN ticket, and sanctioned the creation of posters with Ngige flanked by Awolowo and Tinubu to Stoke up tribal hatred he knows the average Igbos has for Yorubas? Same Obi of "Yes daddy religious war"? You guys, like Obi your Messiah, are just all shades of wrong yet you will be pretending to be virtuous. Fact is that most Nigerians now see through you. |
Mrexcell:A coward who flees always, and has built nothing and no one, cannot be an effective President of Nigeria because very evil, powerful and entrenched forces are determined to ensure Nigeria does not work for the common man so they can keep banking billions. How do some of you, grown adults, cannot accept this simple fact to understand the Presidency is not Obi's level? Who are his powerful loyalists and mentees he built who will ensure powerful political enemies of Nigeria's progress don't render his Presidency impotent and hopeless? I just can't understand whey some of you have no capacity for working with facts and reality as others can do around the world. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1L5JEDMhNN/ |
kolente:What is an "epistle" about a post that is average in length? What you guys validate daily is the slur that "if you wish to hide something from a black man, keep it in a book". Compared to other races, not many of you take requisite interest in reading, writing and research. Ten lines or so na epistle whereas a political statement all citizens should read and understand well can be literally 3000 lines of written words. FDI is trooping in. You are just the typification of the black man who does not like to read, research, be informed and conquer ignorance. See below to note you guys are the reason Nigeria is not moving towards developed nation status as fast as she can. Grow your intellect. Read and research more. Nourish your brain with knowledge so it can deliverer solutions for you and society
|
akingangan:Well-said. My opinion too. Add ignorant to the description of misguided also. They don't read, never do research and are analytically deficient. Majority of them simply support Obi because he is less visible and less prominent than the likes of OBJ, Atiku, Tinubu, Buhari, Abacha, IBB they believe ruined Nigeria. Whereas anyone who has ten minutes to spare to do research will note Obi was an abysmal failure as Governor of Anambra who will be a disastrous President. As a factual show of how working with reality is important, virtually all Southern leaders are behind Tinubu while next to not a single one is behind Obi. Even in the SE, which Governor is behind Obi? None because they know he is a featherweight and a waste of time. That is a big statement about who leaders believe is their President leader to be supported. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1L5JEDMhNN/ |
TemplarLandry:Indeed. Who and what can Obi lead? Who respects him across the leadership chain? I laugh at how some Nigerians gullibly believe a man will become President and then wave some magic wand to get his ways. The Nigerian Presidency, for the sake of improving Nigeria, is for a strong and well-supported man with loyalist across the entire Nigeria so he will always get the backing to delivers changes and reforms that will be resisted by demonic and powerful enemies of progress literally. That is never Obi's level Who flees at the appearance of even the slightest challenge and has built nothing and no one that can be his firewall. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1L5JEDMhNN/ |
FSBoperator:You are correct. I don't think he can win any SS State because SS Governors and leaders are not sleeping on Tinubu at all. First President since 1999 to reward them adequately for being the region feeding Nigeria with her crude oil endowment. North Central too, Obi will fare poorly in as opposed to 2023 because the leaders of the region know Tinubu is empowering the region with funds and critical infrastructure projects. Nothing for Obi in NE and NW. You called it correct precisely. Obi is unlikely to win any State outside SE. |
@OP. Lol. Obi has literally being losing support since Tinubu won 2023 election because his talk and actions showed ignorant Nigerians, who had followed him blindly, Obi is empty when they had believed him to be 'change'. Kenneth Okonkwo, a previously passionate Obidients who worked for Obi in 2022-2023, became his biggest and most bitter critic once he realised Obi's lack of leadership capacity. You will see how poorly Obi will perform next year to come third. |
@OP. Well -said. Another important consideration is that SE and SS leaders, since 1999, have never had a leader to empower, finance, liberate and protect them as Tinubu is doing. They will do anything and everything to ensure he continues because human beings are about self-preservation. Whatever supports that they will fight for. There is not a single politician from the SE, perhaps aside Abaribe, behind Obi today. They are all behind Tinubu. From Ben Kalu to Orji Kalu. In fact Orji Kalu confessed he would not have the bravery to do what Tinubu is doing and getting away with. Crystal clear Southern politicians view Tinubu their long-sought 'alagbara' against the backward and predatory core North Many FG mega projects in the SE and SS region, other Presidents had neglected for decades, 300% increase in allocation allowing Governors and local Government chairmen to achieve more etc, etc. They see Tinubu as a genuine gladiator neutralising the overbearing negative political influence of the North that even a former general, OBJ, could not pull off. These guys are ready to give it all for Tinubu. Forget these hateful and empty noisemakers on Nairaland. Virtually all Southern leaders are with Tinubu and ready to do anything to support his 2027 return. They know if Tinubu is deposed then it is a return to the status quo where the South, since 1999, is always downgraded and relegated behind the North. Whereas they appreciate that Tinubu is succeeding rejecting and suppressing the blackmail and backwardness Northern political leaders had previously used to hold Nigeria, especially the more progressive South, down all in the name of 'One Nigeria, Hateful SE Nairalanders on NL will be shocked at how well Tinubu will do in the SE because leaders in the region will literally write figures for PBAT. This is an existential battle where Southern leaders have seen a saviour they feel they must protect for their own permanent interest. Soludo is APGA but you would think he is APC and Tinubu's political godson the way he waxes lyrical about PBAT daily. I remember Governor Eno of Akwa Ibom warning all in his cabinet to resign if they don't wish to follow him to APC. The man's devotion to Tinubu is 200% even. Let haters dey online dey whine themselves . Virtually all Southern leaders are behind PBAT over-passionately even. Ditto North central leaders. 2027 is not even a debate. No one can depose PBAT. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1cf58H8c3i/ |
FSBoperator:Lol. Tinubu has his time how? Are they even remotely mates capacity and sagacity-wise? |
Bluna:Precisely. The meritoriously best political leaders don't complain, whinge nor try and play on sentiments. I.e Awolowo, Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela etal. Tinubu has Obi's time how? In his career, Tinubu has shown exemplary tolerance. An Igbo Pastor said Remi Tinubu should have poisoned her husband so he would not be sworn in. Abacha or even OBJ would have DSS pick up the character. A Muslim cleric from the North said Remi Tinubu should be killed as leader of "infidel Christians" in Nigeria. Tinubu ignored him. Virtually no other President would because that is direct incitement motivating radical.elements to.murder the wife of the President. Now Obi want's to sell the claim such a tolerant leader, always focused on the end game, want's to kill him? Obi is a coward, liar and terrible human being. |
Sheuns:Yes and Tinubu will be remembered for delivering a critical infrastructure project conceived 50 years ago several Presidents and heads of State have ignored that will massively add to to socio-economic wealth of Nigeria and the SS corridor. |
Kemetian:Absolutely. Have a pleasant weekend bro. |
1nice:Ogbeni, no need for stories. let's have the names of the "concerned Nigerians". I want to confirm something. |
So-called "concerned Nigerians" should be named and identified precisely. I am sure it will be the usual and perennial demarketers of Nigeria and haters of her progress. Critical and definitely progressive socio-economic project conceived 50 years ago numerous Presidents and heads of States have ignored should not be named after a President with the balls to put up the finance and resolute determinition to deliver it? George Walker Bush, former USA President, has a highway named after him in Ghana merely because America funded it. Yet some Nigerians , and we know who they are, are protesting Lagos-Calabar highway should not be named after a visionary leader who has delivered a critically vital project conceived five decades ago. Nigerians should learn to make their protests, objections and toxic responses make logical sense.
|
duality:Lol. I am data boy on 30k. That's what you wanted to hear na. |
Guestmale:A lot of Nigerians have surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ over-passionately even. The issue is that "Heaven help those who help themselves". If you understand that concept and are not blindly wedded to religion, and viewing it as being the only salvation of man, you will appreciate developing Nigerian human resources optimally, through STEM and optimal/world class education and training is the way to make Nigeria "greater than America and China". Not religion that Nigerians already over-invest in. Even detrimentally in my opinion. I just don't get how you guys sound like brainwashed folks who think religion is the beginning and end of everything. There is still the sacrosanct concept of how adult, through education and acquisition of specialist skills, must be solutions providers for their nations. That is what made the USA and China great nations and not religion. USA is literally the Sodom and Gomorrah of the world, with porn and general immorality etal, the bible preached against. Yet look where they are in comparison to Nigeria. Bro, get real. Religion is about private worship. Societal development is about human resources solutions-provision capacity and nothing to do with religion. If not Nigeria would be one of the most developed nation in the the world today given how over-devoted to religion many Nigerians are. |
I am laughing at the comments I see here against this bill. How is it not obvious we must make deliberate effort to de-emphasise the influence of religion, by relegating it to private worship, and focus on educating/training Nigerians to be providers of solutions for our nation through greater assimilation of STEM i.e Science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Nigeria is one of the most religious nations in the world yet check out the pathetic state of our nation. China's leader is openly atheist and China has a broad policy of strong focus on STEM. Look where they are today because they put their faith in human capacity for delivering solutions and not religion and miracles.. Nigerians are in church every day of the week at all hours Whereas citizens of all nation are socio-economically productive in the week and only in church on Sunday. Over-religiousity is part of the problem of Nigeria and a conscious effort must be made to curb it as Soludo is doing in Anambra. I particularly like how he said he will round up miracle-preaching pastor's and take them to hospitals to heal the sick in an effort to demonstrate to Anambrarians that most pastors are quacks and better for them to focus on acquiring skills so the can deliver solutions for themselves instead of delusionally awaiting religious miracles. |
