esnbrutality:This is how hypocritical you guys are. Are we talking of the same guys who mentions a list of names of guys in virtually every post he drops or someone else? |
Christistruth03:Lol. He is Atiku's spokesman now. |
@OP. They an an extremist menace. All of them. |
PBAT. Best President Nigeria has had since 1999. He is the truth.. |
flokii:Absolutely.like Ttalk said, what progress can Nigeria make minus amendments to the 1999 constitution which is loosely laws the North put in place to protect their parochial and unprogressive interests? Yet look at how Tinubu is bullying bills into law and policies into reality today as only the strongest of strong men leaders can do. Is that Obi's level? Never. The bolded in your post is the truth. Same way they were desperate for bigoted, divisive and mediocre GRV to be Governor of Lagos to gain a chance to win political control of the State and displace Yorubas.. |
Saturnalia:They are terrible. Kanu is "innocent" and jailed "wrongly" in Nigeria by "Yoruba President and Yoruba Judge" yet which of them has accused Finland of wrongly jaiing Ekpa? They worship oyinbo they believe is always right and superior so cannot condemn the jailing of Ekpa in Oyinbo nation but their anger is always misdirected against their fellow Nigerians and Yorubas in particular because we did not support their civil war misadventure. Modu Sheriff and Obi are the same. Both bigoted sympathisers of terrorism being dished out by their own. They are leaders of two ethnic groups causing the biggest problems for Nigeria today yet pointing fingers at others. |
FSBoperator:Absolutely. They are both partisan supporters of the heinous wrongdoing of their own people. A lack of the ability to be consistently principled and upright. |
FatimaAbubakar:Lol. When the conversation is adult, kids flee. |
LibertyRep:Precisely. |
@OP. Don't be mad na. He supports Boko Haram openly so too Obi with IPOB. Yet see how the Yoruba separatist who hijacked a radio Station are still languishing in jail today rejected by all Yorubas because we acknowledged they did wrong and have to be punished.. Lesson is that do the right and lawful things as Yorubas do always and consistently. You want us to hate and vilify Modu Sheriff? How is Obi different to him with his support of IPOB ? Aren't you guys busy today shouting that Kanu is innocent? Why can't Modu Sheriff do same for his people, even if they are terrorists, according to how you and them view life? Whereas what would be optimally desirable would be for everyone to be able to condemn and punish wrongdoing from their own as Yorubas do consistently and diligently. Unlike you guys claiming Kanu is innocent while Northerners insist terrorists and bandits are "victims" must be rehabilitated. You are a hypocrite. |
Yorubas are progressive, sophisticated, wise and critical-thinking. Most Yorubas know the value of retaining Nigeria as a Country I.e huge population and markets plus admirable diversity etc, etc. Yet we also understand every region need to have the right to define their identity because we are all very different and our refusal to admit those huge differences, and make allowances for them, is now a huge problem for Nigeria today. This is why Yorubas are insisting on regional governance. It will work best for every Nigerian, every State and every region. |
TEYA:Stop decieving yourself. We are talking of today not the past..it is the core North currently opposed to State policing, regionalism, secession of any region, restructuring, full fiscal federalism etc. In fact Buhari even announced that those talking of restructuring, which PBAT is implementing currently, are naive and dangerous. I agree the SE are insincere and don't say what they mean and don't mean what they say but focus on today not on the past. Whatever the position of the North in the past, they are very unprogressive today. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/06/those-calling-for-restructuring-naive-dangerous-says-buhari/

Flangelo12:That guy is seriously annoying and irritating. No sense at all. |
mattb1:Yes. The bolded is 100% correct. The problems of the North are fairly obvious. So too the solutions for them. Yet no Northern leader is spearheading a solutions revolution as Awolowo did for the SW. I don't know when they will gain a leader who will move to banish the Almajiri system, initiate free and compulsory education for every child, repeal sharia to initate greater secularity across the North to begin de-emphasizing the influence of religion, that is the biggest problem of the North. Additionally they must initiate formal family planning as a strict policy so the practice of having 30 children you cannot raise can stop thus preventing the breeding of future menaces to society. The North must come into modernity. As simple as that. These are fairly simple and obvious initiatives and solutions that will transform the North. Yet is Atiku, Sultan of Sokoto and other Northern leaders insisting on them? No. It is control of Presidential power they are obsessed with while happy to subjugate their people. Yet the fraud Obi will go to the North and patronise them that "lack of opportunity" is the problem of the region. If the leaders of the region won't do right by their people, to provide them with the opportunity to be the best they can be as productive human resources, what does Obi believe he can achieve? |
yemre:You get the picture precisely. I read a research paper like two years ago, PDF grabbed online, and I have been struggling to locate it again. That day I googled the main problems keeping the North downs and this research piece identified low entrepreneural capacity. I had not thought about it till then but it makes perfect sense. The core North must go back to basics and focus on ruthlessly developing a new generation of solutions providers through free and compulsory education for every child, male or female, abolishment of the almajiri system and hevaiky investing in the creation of human resources that can deliver solutions as optimally as possible One leader must step up, even if it won't be easy to achieve, to begin de-emphasizing the influence of religion in the lives of Northerners. They must move away from Islam being central towards everything in society and focus more on STEM I.e science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Kemal Mustafa Ataturk did this precisely. He is the father of modern Turkey because he realises what had to be done same as Awolowo knew what he had to do for his Yoruba people with free education etc. When will the North gain even one truly altruistic and talented leader who is reader to do the right thing, even at the risk of his life, to finally empower and emancipate Northerners? All we see are their leaders like Atiku who resides in Dubai and shows up in Nigeria every four years demanding the keys to Aso Rock. Look below to note Ataturk replaced Sharia with secular law and shut down religious schools deliberately to take Turkey into modernity via the creation of human resources capable of providing solutions rather than overtly focused on worship and faith. Ataturk moved to remove Sharia, as law, between 1924 and 1926. Over 100 years ago and Northern leaders are still clamouring for its greater application while Sultan of Sokoto wants it delivered in Yoruba land. What manner of backwardness is this considering the advanced thinking of Ataturk hundred years ago that made Turkey what it is today? till today, not a single Northerner with his vision and determined progressive focus. We cannot help the North if the North will not help herself. This is one things Nigerians do not understand when they are shouting Tinubu's name up and down..

Pythagoras001:It's crazy. Pure and annoying garbage. |
The $30 Billion USD mentioned alone invalidates this thrash as fake news. Lagos 2026 budget is just above 4 trillion Naira. Whereas $30 billion USD is 41 trillion Naira virtually ten times the annual budget of Lagos. Some cannot even lie sensibly.
|
Walezy2020:You're correct but their real issue is that they are afraid to be self-dependent because they feel the South is far more advanced and they need 'one Nigeria' till they can catch up in terms of education, wealth, human devellopment ndex , industry, SME capacity, entrepreneural capacity etc. @Topic. Impressive. I would even wish the North Discover more oil than the SS has so that, hopefully, their worthless leaders would develop their human resources instead of neglecting them so they become menaces to society through terrorism and banditry. |
zhike:Lol. You will feel it na. Shebi virtually all Africans despise you lot now. You don't seem to get the central point that it is not okay to kill others merely because they are foreigners. Legal or otherwise. You are the only Africans the word "Xenophobia" is attached to because of your barbaric history of lynching foreigners like savages. You are shameless. |
Jagabanfromcali:Lol. It is always amusing to see how you guys are so dedicated to your emotion, prejudices and hatred of other. Go and watch the reel again you will know it about leaders from the South, proper men who know how to win and deliver solutions, are aligning with Tinubu to tackle the serious problems the core North is causing Nigeria. Who is seeking alliance with you ordinary street-level folks? Wetin una get to offer? Is it me who has never set foot in the SE and likely never will, when I don't need anything from you or you region and believe I already live in the best State and region of Nigeria, who will be seeking alliance with you guys? You guys are always first to shout "unity beggar". How many Yorubas in your land, likely no more than 300k, and how many of you in the SW, at least 8 to 10 million, which is proof of the real unity beggars and biggest beneficiaries of 'One Nigeria' are? The video reel talks about Southern leader aligning to gain solutions. You guys are simply too petty and too attached to sentiments and prejudices against others to ever reason critically or pragmatically. |
zhike:Lol. So the bolded includes lynching two Nigerians to death in cold blood. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. All Africa dislike you intensely currently. We have all seen the videos of you lynching foreigners. The level of anger and brutality your people show screams insecurity and inferiority complex. "They are taking our jobs and women" etc . That is the real issue with you lot. Illegal foreigners right? Sort out your immigration process and deport those who aren't meant to be in SA legally. Lynching human beings, because you believe they are foreigners, makes you people distasteful. That is why most Africans now hate you intensely. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Another poster made this same comment and it is inane and an oxymoron. There is no way to tax poverty because you can only tax those who have jobs and/or are earning. |
Sheuns:You and your communist rhetoric. The bolded makes no sense because only individuals who work pay tax with rate matching their level of income. You simply retrofit every of your argument because of a desperation to gaslight the Tinubu Government you dislike intensely. I've lived in the UK majority of my life and know the nation works well because of taxes. No nation, unless purely communist, can be optimally efficient without taxes that must also be collected efficiently. Britain has the National health Service scheme which is effectively free healthcare for Britons but it is maintained partly via national insurance contributions all British workers pay from their monthly salary. Payment of tax is essential. I'd advise you stop being emotional to then rush to post when you can do seconds of research to note what expert and authoritative knowledge defines. Tinubu is a genius and his drive to collect tax more efficiently is crucial because Nigeria's tax to GDP ratio is below the recommended level putting more pressure on government to fund literally everything whereas, due to no fault of PBAT, we have virtually an undiversified and mono-economy centred around crude oil earnings.

BATified2023:That's exactly what came to my mind when I read the thread and they haven't disappointed. Lagos simply has to do what she must to curb the menace of flooding through illegal structures blocking drainage channels. |
Globad:Well-said. They are the political equivalent of terrorists with how their desperate search for a particular outcome, i.e Igbo Presidency, leaves them.desperate to do anything and deploy any method however criminal or dubious. |
Streetinvestor2:Lol. Of course everyone is "hungry" and "paid" if they support Tinubu but only you Obi fans mean well for Nigeria. |
helinues:Well-said. Totally dubious character. He openly backs IPOB, describing them as "good people", and Kanu. He stated Kanu should not be in jail to gaslight Tinubu. Yet who arranged the kidnapping of Nnamdi Kanu if not Malami, he is currently in bed with and Buhari? Yet the sycophant seeking Northern votes , plus his people, prefer to shout Tinubu and "Yoruba" judge Omotosho over Kanu's jailing when both simply followed the rule of Law as applied to Simon Ekpa in Finland. Finland jailed Ekpa. Kanu's minion. Nigeria should set free his master and "supreme leader" as they address Kanu in the SE ? Has any one heard Obi announce Finland should not have jailed Ekpa? It is only Tinubu and "Yoruba" judge Obi can gaslight. Obi is only popular because (1) he is an "Igbo Presidency" project and (2) most Nigerians are not critical-thinking or analytically knowledgeable as they need to be hence the reason they believe him to be "change". Anyone who has 10 or 20 minutes to do research on Obi's tenure as Anambra Governor will see he is totally empty. A failure, fraud and coward. Where Nigeria is today, only Tinubu or the likes of Wike can lead us forward. |
