Politics / Re: About The Presidential Election On Saturday. by Tope4all(m): 1:58pm On Apr 12, 2011
efisher:

GEJ does not need rigging to win. He will win in a perfectly free and fair election. GEJ has support and structures in every nook and cranny of this nation. The NW and NE is not entirely Buhari's because there are millions of people who will gain from or prefer a PDP win. Remember that not everyone who wears a kaftan is an Hausa man. Remember also that PDP has candidates whose political future relies on the GEJ presidency. Buhari has substantial support ONLY in the North. Buhari does not even have the structure to rake in enough harvest from the North. GEJ has a good support in the SW where Buhari has extremely little. GEJ has a significant support in NC as well as Buhari. GEJ is virtually unopposed in SS and extremely strong in NE. Everywhere you turn, there will be millions of GEJ votes.

It takes more than just crowds to win an election. We should be ready to accept the huge margin when the results are out.
If you use the last National Assembly election results as a basis for forming your opinion, you might be wrong. People are voting for personality and not party.
PDP seem to have landslide victory in the North because the contestants were more popular than their opponents. The same trend will repeat itself on Saturday for the coming presidential election where BB is the most popular. And then you will see that 75% votes in the North will go to BB. So also in the SW, Ribadu will get up to75% of the vote cast. And also in figure you cant compare the strenght of someone who won a national assembly election in SE with less than 50000 votes with his counterpart that win with more that 200,000 votes for example in Lagos Central that produced Oluremi Tinubu. All these are major determinants.

@zim drill. How do you know that? Anyone can go to social sites if they like or is it a sin to visit social site? And he said "my PC" which means that he is the administrator or have administrative right. @tope4all. Which browser do you use? Does anyone(computer geek) use your computer? Are you sure it's not been blocked by firewall or restricted by your browser? You may try installing different browser!

Thanks. I have administrative rights to an extent. The desktop am provided with is too slow for my liking and so I use my laptop - hp pavillion dv6-2150us. When I connect it to the org's port in the morn, so many sites wont open, even NL. Now am on my IZAP but i cant continue using it because i have to be online all day.

Phones / Re: The Cheapest Network To Call Now Is Etisalat by Tope4all(m): 5:16pm On Jan 24, 2011
ifeci:

The calculation for the cheapest network today in Nigeria goes like this
Based on #100 air time
Etisalat = 100-20 = 80.
80/15 = 5.3 min on all Ntwk

Airtel 100-36 = 64 +1min
64/12 = 6.3min on all Ntwk

MTN 100-30 = 70+ 1min
70/15 = 5.6mins on MTN Ntwk alone

GLO 100/15 = 6.7mins on All Ntwrk

Based on this, Glo is the best and closely follwed by AIrtel, then Etisalat

dis calculation is wrong on d part of mtn cos wen they charge u 50kobo per second on the 1st call, it changes to 20kobo from the second minute making it N12 a minute after the N30 for the first minute so if u re-calculate u will be using 70/12 +1min= 6.8mins on a N100 basis which is about the best figure from all the above calculation. so 4now mtn.

note that it is only applicable on the PAYGO F&F. otherwise it is 50k per sec.
While on Talkon it is 25k per sec after d first min.
Both can enjoy registering a magic no for #250 per month. with it u make a free call to d number for 30 days. Am using it and it's simply, whaoo!

Politics / Re: Goodluck Jonathan's Kids Are In School Mine Is At Home! by Tope4all(m): 4:33pm On Jan 19, 2011
Even if the school is operating an American calender, they still should have respected our country's order in the first place. This cant be the case anywhere. It shows that the school have no respect for the government of GEJ.
And even if GEJ kids are in SS3 as claimed by some people, that should not have meant that the school should be in full session.
GEJ should have done well if he had, through appropriate authorites called the school to order. But he would do none of such.
What does he do when some people were driving the country towards anarchy by their bombing here and there, kidnapping etc? I like him, but he is too passive.
On Sept 19th 2001, President Bush delivered to Americans one of the greatest speeches in history in times of calamity - 'Freedom Is Under Attack', But not our GEJ.
Let's hope all goes very well for our dear country and the sincere efforts of our past heros shall not be in vain.

Romance / Re: She Wants Me Back But She Is Still Sleeping Around by Tope4all(m): 4:13pm On Feb 18, 2010
It is not easy to forget someone u once called your soulmate. But the truth must be said. The girl is not meant for u. If u are uncomfortable now that u're stillcourting, then if u marry her and she go back to her old way, u will have a violent seizure.
Forget about her and eraze her memory from your brain.
Go out with friends and catch fun. Dont pick her call and dont repond to her sms. Sooner she will read the handwriting on the wall. grin smiley smiley
