One thing that puzzles me is the way we pretend. I have seen several roaming lunatic ladies that got pregnant, could they have been virgin Mary with the Holy pregnancy? They were obviously impregnated by one man or the other. Now tell the same man to help the lady to recover and keep her at home he will say na lie, small time he go dey sneak go wire the woman for road side, Its just incredible !!!

This is where i salute the courage of women. I must confess if its the man that runs mad, provided he is not violent, the woman will still stay with him for a long while before taking off, if she ever does. But if it were the man, next thing na "make her people come carry am" haba !!, marriage is for better for worse. If a man stands by his lunatic wife for a year, am sure a woman of same status, psyche, emotion and conscience will stand 5years. Men, we have to change our attitude. In fact if the mad man is not violent, the woman can continue staying with him for ever so far she can still afford to feed him, she will continue to feed him and hide him in the house, but Mr man don throw her to the street quick quick.

The truth is that the guy should help her in his own way to achieve recovery, though its a hard situation but love conquers all. And if u find out very well, the man may be a contributory factor to the woman's insanity.

The issue of enforcement is key.

However, my main purpose of posting this thread is for us all to be aware of what the government has in the offing as per governance 2009 in Lagos State.

Do you know of any of such new rules that will come into force come January 2009 and the relative punishment for breaking such rules, lets share it here.

Nairalanders, we are waiting for your comments, additions, information and contributions.

I have heard of several rules on how to live in the Lagos mega-city come January 2009. Some of such rules are listed hereunder, please lets educate ourselves by contributing the ones you know and/or correct that which is wrongly or inadequately stated.

1) It shall become illegal to give money to beggars - Fine - NGN5,000

2) Any commercial bus driver that does a "one way" driving shall be liable to a fine of NGN25,000, and each and every passenger in such bus or cab shall be liable to a fine of NGN5,000 each.

3) Beat your child and get charged for child abuse - punishment am not sure

4) Beat your wife and go to jail.

5) Street trading is extremely illegal, i am not sure of the punishment, someone help us here.

How much of such rules do you know and their corresponding punishments, let's all learn from you.

Still waiting for all recipients of the relevant information to come up with their decision. Its a fact that purchase of landed property does not fall in the impulsive buying category, so people need adequate time to take decisions and appropriately work out their cash flow and determine the actual position of their budget lines. Nonetheless, for all of you that have received my mails, am still waiting for your responses.

One of the points of consideration however should be the fact that landed properties have the highest rate of appreciatio of all assets one may ever own.

2)Cost of production will reduce and other things being equal, it should reduce the prices of commodities in the market


However, my greatest question is with salary earners, are the salaries going to be reduced as they reduce the zeros in the naira. if yes it means someone earning NGN475,000 now should see his salary as NGN4,000 by then. and if no, such person will see himself as earning USD400, 000 by then. This will make nigeria the highest income earners in the world, i laugh.
