Friends of talented Nollywood actress, Bimbo Thomas yesterday in Houston, U.S.A organised an all white baby shower for the heavily pregnant role actress.



The well attended event was witnessed by some of her colleagues including Mistura Asunramu, Lola Magret, Aremu Afolayan among others.



Bimbo, who left Nigeria about two months ago, we learnt will return after giving birth.



Though, the identity of the father of her unborn child is yet to be confirmed as the Lagos-born actress has kept every detail concerning the pregnancy under wraps, it is believed that her reported U.S-based lover is responsible for it.

I think we need to respect each oda, boy or girl.

I had a similar experience, I met a lady through her friend and we dated. All the while, we all used to hang out 2geda at a particular bar and all the payment was from my pocket. The girl will go behind me to tell her friends that me I be her Maga (I just dey laff, anytime that her Olofofo friend tells me). To make matter worse, she started dating the owner of the bar that I took her to (her Olofofo friend told me). When I was done with her, I avoided her like plague.

She and her Olofofo friend met me and a friend at the bar one Saturday night, they immediately came over and ordered catfish and drink (what I would have paid for on a normal day), I just went to the service lady and told her to serve them at her own expense. They found out what I did after the service lady told them that the bar is out of stock.

They raked while leaving that I embarrassed them, I watch till they left without saying a word.

I do not agree with you on this. She said her friends will be coming with her but she never told the guy he was going to pay and the guy never said he was going to pay for anything. So I do not see where the guy did not stand by his words

My take:

Babes need to be careful with the way they handle first dates. How can you go on a first date with a guy and you take your friends along? Is it insecurity or what? You both are meeting for the first time, time to access each other. Time to know more about each other. Don't you think taking your friends along will distract you both? You can take them along when you both are close to the each other.

I shared this with some ladies and they blamed OP and one of them narrated how she missed out on being with a guy she met and really loved.

She took two of her friends on her first date with the guy and he took to one of her friends and lost interest in her. The guy is married to her friend now.

Sources said Mr. Obasanjo initially rejected Mr. Okupe’s plea, saying “you cannot abuse me in the papers, on TV, on radio and on the streets and then come here to privately apologise.”

“Why don’t you mount the same platforms you used in abusing me to apologise to me?” a witness quoted Mr. Obasanjo as saying.

“Baba said he was baffled to see Okupe verbally assaulting him in the media just because he was given appointment by Jonathan,” the source said. “If he were a true son of Yorubaland, he would not have gone to that extent because Baba was the first to appoint him a media aide over 16 years ago.

Popular NURTW official and socialite, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo has dissociated himself from the purported ‘bra-less’ party allegedly organised to mark his birthday a couple of weeks ago.

The party, which held at The Place, Isaac John Street, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, generated a lot of reactions and created a buzz in the media. MC released a statement yesterday to correct the impression that he organised the said party.

My birthday was earlier celebrated in my house with my family and friends. The birthday bash at D Place Club was just a party organised by my friends in collaboration with some of my boys to celebrate me and it was not tagged any names because I saw the invitation before party.

Moreover, I know nothing about the organisation of the party. I just had to honour it by going there.
