Nigeria is not governed by traditions but by the law, so if my tradition says that even after paying the bride price, the father in law can still lay claim to the child, you will expect the court to obey that, if the judge will respect tradition, Davido can also tell the court to respect his own tradition and give him his child.
Please let us give more respect to the law.

That child in Igbo tradition rightfully belongs to chioma's father.

How can Davido be claiming a child he hasn't done. Anything on the mothers head. It is fully reserved for chioma's father to either allow the child to go over to David or not.

what exactly will be the use of the PhD to their lecturing, one of the major challenges in the education sector is that we value certificates without experience, what good is the ability to make an academic research without the knowledge to teach practicals, there are a lot of professor and PhD engineers that cannot do jack on site, yet they carry certificates around.

Maybe NUC actually goofed by allowing them lecture and become Professors without PhD in the past but it seems they realized their error.

The consultants want to continue becoming Professors without PhD. I laugh! Do they actually know the rigors of becoming a PhD holder?
They are not bigger than NUC that regulates them so if NUC says they cant become Professors without PhD then they should either join their colleagues who go on to acquire PhD or get out.

if I wake up one morning and decide to wear my Blue Jeans instead of my brown trousers, does that mean I'm not being fair on the brown trouser, and even if I decided to give someone my phone for free and buy another one, does that mean I'm being partial on the phone I gave away? My point is it's God's world and He can do as He pleases without having to explain to anyone, you just pray to be on the side of His mercy by giving your life to Christ. It's like God making Jesus the standard for those He wants to be fair on and telling us the standard so that we'll choose right.
However, most times we don't always know the whole story, God not allowing someone to keep living might be Him doing the person a great favor, so let's not try to reason out God's decisions and ways(its like trying to pour all the water in the Atlantic Ocean into a small cup) and just live according to His word since we are in His world. i

This is a poor design.Lemme state my reasons.
1.Lobby has neither access to light or wind.
2.You cross ventilated a guest room,and in room 2 only one window was provided.
3.The position of the kitchen is funny.The orientation should be changed.
4.In this modern times,all rooms are built ensuite.
5.No guest bathroom.
Biko i know the engineer is your friend.But please reach out to an architect,let them draft you contemporary 4 bedroom design cos it might look fine in paper,but when they commence building,even you will notice the fvck up..By then you can do little or nothing to change it. You can drop your mail,i would sketch and send you the kind of Contemporary design you should request from your architect. Takia

Only Allah knows what really transpired between the woman and her assailants that day. She might be preaching inciteful messages that were too hard to bare. Even tho i condemn the action of the killers, by preaching around a mosque makes her actions daring. It's like an imam coming to preach in a church territory. I suggest the government ban street evangelism so cases like this can be averted in future. It is wrong to go around with megaphone and start preaching as early as 5am when people are resting. Those who blame Islam for her death are just displaying ignorance. We cannot use the action of few to judge the entire muslims. Islam remains a peaceful and tolerant religion.

The husband stood at the window of his neighbors and watched. There they were busy doing their own thing. The wife was in the kitchen cooking, and the man sat at the table writing. The phone rang, and the man jumped up and headed to the hallway to get it.

On his way he bumped into a vase, it fell and broke. He got down to his knees and started picking up the pieces. The wife ran into the room from the kitchen. She also kneeled down and started helping her husband to pick them up.

The man said to his wife:
“I am so sorry. I rushed to get the phone and bumped into the vase. It fell and got broken.”
