Nonsense! some people will buy this rubbish! The simple truth is that Nigeria is broke. They turned this one to policy to rake in more money. I remember NISSAN announcing this plan last year with Arisekola Alao's company( I can't remember the name) So they didn't just decide to come because of this stupid policy. Start producing vehicles first then you can increase tariffs at the ports to give home manufactured/assembled plants advantage. So don't be deceived, it is all for the sake of making money for this prodigal government.

And for Nissan, it would be a great mistake to come to Nigeria. They will eventually leave. Nigeria is not conducive for such business, ask Peugeot and VW. Auto assembly lines rely on so much power, because of loads of machinery and robots used. No security of lives, property and in this case investment.

South Africa has Mercedes-Benz, General Motors, BMW, NISSAN, TATA, VW, and Toyota plants, this was not how they started. All the investor needs is assurance from the government that such a policy would be enacted when it starts rolling out cars. Confused and clueless people.

Anyone who is under the illusion that Pac was a random human is uninformed. Days ago I was watching CNN and Christine Amanpour interviewed a rap group involved in struggle against the discrimination of palestinians in Israel and also interviewed a long serving CNN middle east correspondent via video link on how Rap music inspired the 'Arab Spring' from Tunisia to Syria. So when Tupac Amaru Shakur (Lasane Crooks) made the above statement, he knew what he was saying.

There is nothing wrong with those buses, FRSC should stop disgracing this nation. Do they have proper documentation on these accidents they computed? Figures don't speak it all. I travel regularly and I have found out that the most dangerous drivers on the roads are the drivers of Toyota Hiace new buses. Always too eager to overtake even when they can't see what is coming. The problem is not the buses but the drivers, government should stop buying these buses for NURTW people, they abuse new vehicles, because of the state of the engines. Give them old vehicles. I always look out for these dare-devil drivers in my rear view mirror. Tackle over speeding not a company with no proof of negligence.

This happened before in the early 90s with the J5 buses, always over speeding. That is why they crashed often.
