Corporate Affairs Commission has taken company registration to the next level. The new online registration system has greatly improved efficiency such that a week is more than enough to register a business name or limited company. What you can enjoy using CAC online service:

1. Name search/reservation can be done the same day. From my experience with it, most requests done before 1pm are usually processed the same day. (This used to take 1-2 weeks in most state offices).

2. Stamp Duties now has an instant electronic online portal that is integrated with the CAC portal. You pay with your ATM card and the next click you are downloading your stamped documents and an e-receipt sent straight to your email address. (This was usually 3-4 days; thanks to CAC/FIRS collaboration).

3. You download and sign your forms (you will need a notary public or commissioner of oaths), then upload them again. Usually, you will get a response the same day you upload them for your RC or BN number, if you did everything right. Your business in registered!

4. Go to the office you selected as your collection point with originals of your signed documents and other things you uploaded and collect your certificate and CTCs. (No timeline for this one to the best of my knowledge, but 2 days allowance works for me!).

Notes:
It is stated by CAMA 1990 (as Amended) that the secretary of a company should be a lawyer, chartered accountant or chartered secretary.
Business Names (with BN number) do not require stamp duties
Incorporated trustees need a notice published on Nigerian newspapers for some weeks

I have done all i could to get the money from them (amount #16500) but no good news yet.

I called their customer care line, then i was instructed to sent it in a message to support@interswitchng.com of which i did same day then i got a reply from them that before on 25 of last month they will get back to me today is 14 June and no responds from them yet and the money has not be refunded.

Last two weeks i called again and i was told they are working on it. Now i need money to complete my school fees.

Are you a paypoint agent or a personal user? How did the money get hung? I do use it and I haven't encountered such problem before...but you can continue to call to remind them of your complaints....

I wanted to make a withdrawal with my gtbank card on a first bank ATM on Sat , 20 may 2017. Unfortunately, the transaction was cancelled and I was debited. I was told at first bank to contact my bank but gtbank is closed down for now in Ekiti state. I tweeted and sent DM to them on Twitter that same day and no reply , continued on Sunday which was the next day but no reply until Monday's afternoon.
I was told the money would be reverted in 24 business hours, I should check my acct the next day which is Tuesday after work hours. I checked my account balance and the money hasn't been reverted.
I contacted them again, they asked for my banking details and some other things, and I replied them.
They didn't givee any feedback until Friday, 26 may, 2017 after asking them for an update. They replied that it has been reverted since Monday, 22 may, 2017.
Where as, I haven't been refunded . Now they are not replying me again.
They are ignoring my tweets and DMs. Please helpe nairalanders
What can I do? I can't just let this money go after I have worked hard to earn it.
