And when in history has Nigeria defended Ghana? Ghana has never had a civil war in its history and its also a Christian country so it doesnt have Islamist sectsto destroy the beautiful country. The military are on top of issues which makes us the most peaceful country in Africa. For your information, nigeria army is only about numbers with no brains and weapons

Ricky_Ross: ....
This is very small, I thought they said there are 1 million Nigerian prisoners in Ghana?
Do not be suprised there are more Ghanaian prisoners in Nigeria. This year alone, 22 Ghanaians were napped stealing our oil with philippinos, greek and American collaborators. So Ghana is still leading. Not counting the 75 Ghana ashewo that Fashola nabbed 3 months ago, though them ashewos were released after 2 weeks of settling with cash and puci
nsawam is just 1 of the numerous prisons in Ghana and we have abt 200 nigerian prisoners.smh. In kpando they refer to that prison as alata-a term used to refer to nigerians in Ghana- prison. Nigerians constitute abt 85% of the prisoners there.by this estimation as per the statistics and regarding the number of prisons in Ghana we can say about 3000 nigerians will be behind the bars during the yuletide in Ghana. Sorry 4 9ja. Smh
CrimeTwo Nigerians Murdered Ghanaian In UK by torgbe(op): 4:33pm On Dec 19, 2012
“Everyone gets stabbed, everyone gets shot. Everyone dies, everyone goes to jail, that’s how life is.” That was the chilling statement made by Nathaniel Okusanya, 19 who along with his friend, Nelson Idiabeta, 18, killed Kwame Ofosu-Asare, an innocent 17-year-old student in March this year after mistaking him for a rival gang member.

At the time of the murder, Okusanya was 18 while Idiabeta was 17.Kwame just happened to be “in the wrong place at the wrong time” and was stabbed 14 times in the back in a ‘cowardly and merciless’ murder by the two young men.

According to Daily Mail, the pair were members of the TN1 gang – Trust No One – out to avenge one of their member who was stabbed by a rival gang member from the GAS gang – Guns and Shanks – just hours earlier. They had toured housing estates in Brixton to find rival gang members and came upon 17-year-old Kwame and his friend, who had nothing to do with any gangs. He was a sixth-form student who moved to London from Ghana in 2002.

Kwame, a business student, promising footballer, a budding actor and rapper, was walking back with a friend from a session at a recording studio when they were confronted by Okusanya and Idiabeta in the Moorlands Estate in Brixton.Asare

Hours before his horrendous death he had gone to the studio to record a track which he dedicated to his mother. Kwame and his friend with a ‘sixth sense’ ran away into a cul de sac where his friend’s aunt lived in a desperate attempt to get to safety – but she was not at home.

His friend managed to jump over a wall but Kwame was trapped and then killed. He was violently attacked suffering 14 stab wounds, three of which penetrated his lungs and one his liver.

He shouted out he was from Catford and pleaded “I’m not from round here, I’m not from round here” but he was murdered by the pair who were out to avenge their friend, Stewart who was stabbed on the top deck of a bus in West Norwood.

When police searched Okusanya’s home, they found photos of three other murder victims – Abukar Mahamood, who was shot dead aged 16 in 2007; Sadiq Adebeyi, 25, who was shot dead in May 2011; and Nana Darko-Frimpong, 16, who was shot dead in June 2011.

Okusanya told police they were all his friends and added: “Stabbings happen everywhere… it’s how life is now. Everyone gets stabbed, everyone gets shot. Everyone dies, everyone goes to jail, that’s how life is. In a typical black area, people get stabbed, people get shot, people die.”

After an Old Bailey jury found the pair guilty, they were jailed for life. Idiabeta was jailed for life with a minimum recommendation of 19 years while Okusanya was jailed for life with a minimum recommendation of 20 years.

A red-light district is a part of an urban area where there is a concentration of prostitution and sex-oriented businesses, such as sex shops, strip clubs, adult theaters, etc. The term originates from the red lights that were used as signs of brothels.[1] There are areas in many big cities around the world which have acquired an international reputation as red-light districts.[2] this is getting too much oo petrodolla. u are destroying souls and getting too personal by revealing the true identity of some baboons here,u will soon be sent to nigeria antua.lol. some bitchy things. big ups man

first off.. nigerians dont give a shiitt about ghana until u ugly mofos decide to appear on our forum to display ur stupidity and inferiority complex ...and we are here to deal with ur stupidity.

this is quite senseless, no one is jusdging ghana by their shitty airport .. we jusdge u by what is on ground.. bad roads, no electricity, bad health care etc... by the way is ghana airport not part of ghana? grin grin

lol u have no point son, why are nigerians not cameroon and other west african countries like that.. u just have to accept.. its not about looking good on the outside ..no matter how hard u try to hide the truth, people will eventually know the truth

hahahahaha so is that what makes peaceful and beautiful country? a room with air condition (and not knowing when the next election protester will stab u in the back).. u are such a wonderful uncivilized illiterate.. am sure u havent being to other countries that has something to offer humanity before to see how things are done there....lol

grin grin grin who would wanna do that before ?

atleast the same city can feed the whole shitty ghana grin grin

lol u mean the same peace that is going on in ghana rightnow? the peace that u will be watching ur back so angry election protester wont stab u with a knive, or army firing tear gas to chase u away... hmmmm that sounds very peaceful..

on God can safe ghanaians from inferiority complex
because a person is stabbed in Ghana, it has become BIG news in nigeria, abi. that shows lawlessness is not condone in the country, whenever there is a little skirmish, u got to Know that is unGhanaian and it makes news all over and Nigerians start celebrating cuz they know they are not alone in this. we are composed and our leaders are on top of issues. i bet u not more than 3 lives will be lost in this. compare that to Nigeria

grin grin grin abi o... their electricity is not stable, their roads are not motorable, their schools unattainable, hospital rubbish... their economy is not up to that of lagos... they cant even organise free and fair election... yet they come to nairaland to rant.. shameless people... its this kinda time u just wish to pray for ur african brother but if u think about the way ghanaians on nairaland act.. u will hate all ghanaians
Ghana is far ahead of nigeria in all the areas u mentioned. i am a Ghanaian in Ghana and i can say the election is free and fair and the pictures u see are peaceful protest from some disgruntled NPP members who find it hard to accept the results. their leader is 69 years old and cant contest again thats why he wants to taste power before he retires. mahama is our president. ECOWAS, AU and the US and coalition of local election observers all described it as free and fair. The NPP has 21days to protest in the law court and I can bet you, they have no credible evidence that the election has been rigged
