ngozievergreen:

Guy, since the war ended, the man has been a nobody.
Now he is in a deplorable state, moribund for more than 3 yrs with poverty not helping matters.
Stop comparing Adekunle to Ojukwu pls.
Even his local govt can't think of naming a health center or nursery sch after him.
Upon all his alleged prowess at the war, Nigeria didn't recognize him.

, If not for anything, Ojukwu has more respect in Nig and was very wealthy.

I have kept asking this question all the time. Why have they used my uncle Adekunle and dumped him like FG has done over the last 40years without even naming a single pathway after him. I think Nigeria govt should recognize people that fought for the unity of this country. I met Adekunle last March, he couldn't stand up nor recognize anybody. Why has FG left this man to rot away?

36STATES:

AWOLOWO'S EDUCATION FROM WWW.AWOLOWOFOUNDATION.ORG

He had his primary school education at St. Saviour's School, Ikenne, and at Imo Wesleyan School, Abeokuta. His education at this early stage was interrupted for several years by the sudden death of his father in April 1920, an event that left him without financial support and compelled him to fetch firewood for sale, and do similar jobs, to support his schooling.

He had higher education at Wesley College, Ibadan (a teachers' college) in 1927, and much later at the University of London as an External Student. He was awarded the degree of Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) and the Bachelor of Laws by the University of London. He was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple on November 19, 1946.

Where is your evidence he got second degree talkless of Ph.d.

The highlighted sounded more adult education. Are you saying that our revered Awo had an adult education? I don' believe it. It can't be true.

Delafruita: do you know what selfless means?perhaps your definition of "world" is limited to ala-Igbo

Does it mean that Nigeria has degenerated to the bottom that a non Ibo cannot see the truth and say it. I am not Ibo, I am a history just like Ojukwu, I have read so much about him to know that his likes comes once in every 1 million years. During my undergraduate studies, in the study of Nigerian history the story of Ojukwu stood out. Out there many many Yorubas worship Ojukwu, it was only on NL that saw bitterness among our people. Its so bad for our future.

tomakint: After swearing to an 'oath of secrecy' sharing blood of the brotherhood, while the Jaganban bankrolled their tribunal cases why won't APC governors borrow and morgage the future of their respective states according to the 'Lion or is it Leopard of Bourdillion' now!

But how come you got to know all these. Are you saying you have any link with these people?

"Chukwuemeka "Emeka" Odumegwu-Ojukwu was born on 4 November 1933 at Zungeru in northern Nigeria to Sir Louis Odumegwu Ojukwu, a businessman from Nnewi, Anambra State in south-eastern Nigeria. Sir Louis was in the transport business; he took advantage of the business boom during the Second World War to become one of the richest men in Nigeria. He began his educational career in Lagos, southwestern Nigeria.[7]

In 1944, he was briefly imprisoned for assaulting a white British colonial teacher who was humiliating a black woman at King's College in Lagos, an event which generated widespread coverage in local newspapers. At 13, his father sent him overseas to study in the UK, first at Epsom College and later at Lincoln College, Oxford University, where he earned a Masters degree in history. He returned to colonial Nigeria in 1956."

This is one Nigerian I respect so much. A brave fine officer that held his ground for 3years and put his life on the line just to liberate his people. Its a feat not even Hitler with all the Armour could achieve. Am sure Ojukwu will forever live in the heart of every Iboman. Am yet to see any selfless world leader to compare to this guy.

tintingz: Really p'squre are decent? Have you seen them in shows how girls are grabing their di;ck

And you call them 'very' decent? undecided

You don't get! This is called flex. Dbanj is too dirty, he has to join illumi just to produce this disaster, meaningless and non-marketable song. He cannot give what he does not have, even if he joins illumi and illumi. He songs does trip anybody, he is flop when it comes to music. He should look for another trade.
