I'm surprised they're asking you for extension letter. Cos it doesnt evn look like they regard resumption dates afterall.
kelsy90:
The embassy is requesting for my extension letter am worried the school might not issue me with one. Has anyone been requested for an extension letter?

Hi, I sent you a message request because I learnt you are going to Tasmania. Pls can you respond?

Like I said, you've lost it completely. So there's no point.
JewelStone:
Maybe I wasn't clear enough, I stand by my original response to that poster. And that means I don't owe anyone any apology, plus keeping mute is entirely at my discretion not yours.

You can feel sad for all the tea in China, thats your business not mine. I don't care about your opinion of me, it doesn't add any value to my life so you can shove it and move on.

Madam! This just proves u're really rude! Evn after your spontaneous response I expect by now u should have calmed down. But you still come up with a response like this without an apology. So sad u're far from it. It would have been better if u just kept mute without a response!
JewelStone:
Yeah my response may not have been the kindest, but it just proves how the thought of accommodating a couple/male sounded to me. And I'm standing by it.

Please you saintly posters should stop quoting me to preach about niceness blah blah blah, I'm not here for any of that. You truly don't know how you'd react in a situation, until you're in that situation.

Yeah. That's because I think RMIT has issues with Nigerian students now. I heard nigerian students that go there don't spend more than a semester before porting to another school with low tuition fee. So they're only trying to verify these things but that doesn't mean they aren't AL1.
Asoasoaso:
Nice one, but RMIT asked m SOA, first they gave m conditional offer to summit SOA, and after summited they gave m unconditional offer

You'll also need to consider the cost of living in that city.

Job opportunities are basically in the cities u mentioned. Including perth. The average student wld get a part time job in most cities, the only difference is how fast u get it.

Abt AL1 & AL2, I basically know AL1 schools like RMIT, macquarie and others do not request for SOA, english test and some other docs. But things seem to be changing now as the embassy has been requesting for these documents of recent from AL1 schools.

You need to do more research to enlighten yourself on these things. Cos most people here wouldn't have the time to answer these fundamental questions.

Yeah I did. I also included every necessary details. I wonder too mahn! Cos I assume "it's still on queue" means it's not even being treated.
noscarn91:
Bro , did you quote your visa application number in your mail to the DIBP, because it's scary your application is still in queue since may, how about people like us that applied late June
TravelRe: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by tosinomis: 2:24pm On Jul 07, 2017
Okay...thanks very much.
Churkie:
Yes, someone here submitted an SOA of less than 5m naira last month and got his grant. If you must use this, make sure the cash flow is fantastic.

Hello everyone,

Congrats to everyone who have received grants in the past few days. I pray we'll get more testimonies in Jesus name. I've been an observer for the past 3wks. I also applied as detailed below:
Application date: 25th of May
Biometrics : 26th of May
Medicals: 24th of May.
School: University of Tasmania.
Orientation date: 10th of July
Course start date: 17th of July

I haven't been contacted by any case officer and when I sent an update mail to dibp yesterday, they responded saying "the application is still on queue yet to be processed".
Please what happens if I don't receive a response before the resumption day? Also, has anyone hrd of an soa of 9m fly?
