2months or so......to avoid such issue don't use the phone when charging and be very careful when inserting the cord.I got the information from Nokia customer agent.

Does that mean the charging port issue can also happen to the global version if the cord is not well inserted or charging and using at the same time ...cuz am getting x6 soon

I ordered my Nokia X5 from Jumia and it was delivered around middle of February. After few weeks, I noticed problems with charging of the phone, I do try different angles before I could get my phone charged. I was suspecting the cable before but I learnt that it's the port. Please does anyone knows what I can do to get this problem solved? I will gladly appreciate any help. I'm presently in Ondo state

My X6 from China flashed with global rom is Nokia 6.1 plus. Even buyers from North America with better purchasing power took advantage of this lopsided market price.

Never for one day has my phone struggled with the Android One experience.

Please which 4g lte sim are you using on your x6

Depends on how careful a person is.
The difference in price between both is about 18k, i don't think a warranty and support for GLO and MTN 4G is worth the extra cash.
It all boils down to his choice and the amount he is willing to spend, my opinion though.

Please do you know If x6 support glo 4G?

Update:so i complained about buying a Chinese rom x5 and requested for a refund from jumia but along the line i was able to download google playstore, and the phone is fully functional.

I just got me a Nokia 6.1 few weeks back after reading some reviews about the Nokia X5 & X6 I opted for 6.1 to avoid some of those issues.

I've been enjoying it so far, also did the upgrade to pie & have not experienced any of the issues some are complaining about.

How come people here have not been talking about 6.1 or is it old fashion? Loll. Well I may not care if it is provided it is serving all its purpose.

He said the phone fell away into water and got damaged a bit...
Sent it back to slot... Luckily for him he bought the global version and it is covered by warranty...
This is where buying the Global version may have advantage... Especially when one is careless...

Please what's the remaining rom of the Nokia x5 after pre installed apps. I'm still caught between X5 & X6. because I like the 4gb/64gb, 1080p. But from all the reviews I've seen, X5 seems to be the best & of course cheaper.

Buy the Chinese version if you don't care much about warranty.
If you break any part of the phone you can import the spare part from AliExpress and get it fixed here.
The chiChin version (X5 is 47k) while the global is around 70k
Your choice.

Nokia makes two versions of phones..
The global version which is more expensive than the chinese version...
While the global ones support all the 4g bands you can think of, you will be fortunate if the chinese ones support your lines 4g network...
In our case the Chinese ones support Airtel(everywhere), MTN, Glo( some people said so but it all depends on your location)
No other difference between both...
5.1+ is the global version of X5
6.1+ is the global version of X6
The only benefit of getting the Global version is warranty and you can easily fix it in a Nokia care center.

If I could get you right, are you saying the global version is better than the chinese version?.Cuz am planning to join the Nokia family soon
