Boot device is the hard drive your windows OS is installed on. This will happen if you insert a formated drive in your system and booting without first installing windows on it. Or you hard drive's position has shifted and your Pc couldnt detect it. Or your hard drive is faulty or your windows files have become so corrupted that they are undetectable.Try any of this one by one:
Remove your hard drive and reinsert it.
Reinstall OS
Change your hard drive

Thanks bro, it might be that some windows file have become so corrupted because it happens after I downloaded the new update

I have windows 10 1809 October latest build .iso file. I can give out,just burn it to DVD or usb.
If you don't know how to do that,I have also burn it to Usb using Rufus. It was the one I used to reinstall Windows.I can give you to use if you are in Lagos.

Please documents on my laptop keeps keep having djvu as extension even after deleting and sending it back. Like a video with films. Mp4 it will now change to films.mp4.djvu please what can I do

Malware. Update your Anti-virus and scan. Or download malwarebyte and scan.

I updated my windows defender then I scanned it and also smadav antivirus, but after scanning instill can't open the documents

A full scan?? that was fast... full scan takes almost half a day... Anyways if that's the case then you have to endure... not all files will be recovered after virus attack

Took about 3hours

Done that with windows defender, the documents and videos still not opening

malware..... stop downloading from sites you don't trust. update your anti virus definition and do a full scan

After that will I be able to open my documents and videos again, I will try that now.
