Why delaying on this repair works now, can't we set a timeline and meet up for just once now, the hardship we are experiencing going to work this day is too much oo |
Has it is well ooo |

For anybody to give you a reasonable estimate, you need a plan, what us your expected height of the fence, is it 2meter high or 3meter high, my brother you are to plan your estimate with worst case scenario. The dimension of your acre is 108m x 36m or 216m *18m or whatever it is, with a height of 2m and allowing 2courses of block in the foundation, you will need a total of 7,200pcs of block, and if you are considering a higher fence of 3m from the existing compound you will need an approximate 10,000pcs of block. I will advise you use a 9" block because of the stability against wind etc, so that you won't have to repeat work latter. People use 6inches block in a built environment since buildings absorbs the effect of winds, but such a wide expanse nothing will curtail such wind and it equally has to be braced at intervals with beam. Cement usage for the 7200 and 10,000 are 120bags and 170bags respectively. Kindly note, if you have any question kindly ask, am willing to give the advise and direction to you, but am NOT available for supervision or construction, so that you won't think am doing this for a purpose. |

raymondFirstborn:1:2:4 is a batching /mixing ratio which show the portion of cement: fine aggregate: coarse aggregate. I.e 1bag of cement : 4portion of sharp sand: 8portion of granite. You either batch by weight or volume. But most on site it is by volume, only batching plant batch by weight. I can even send you my Facebook account so that you can see my newly constructed Olympic size swimming pool on my Instagram page, with detailed picture from inception till completion. Am vast in what I do and am a project manager overseeing a project over 1B with 6site engineer working for me. You can't be asking me what 1:2:4 is. |
raymondFirstborn:Am a certified civil Engineer, both coren and NSE certified. I will like to either visit your site or you visit mine so that you can know the caliber of the person chatting with you. |
raymondFirstborn:Hi, I don't understand what you meant by 1:2:4, that is just for the purpose of academic/ guide, any certified engineer that really know what he is doing will definitely do a trial mix to achieve specified strength by structural engineer design the structure anytime he starts a new work. I have constructed works designed by big structural firms, ARUP, IAA, e.t.c. it |
raymondFirstborn:I guessed the schools you attended, you only have a grade of concrete, for you information grade of concrete varies from 15fcu to 50fcu and their prices varies, because their cement content and strength increases. Also, are you planing weak concrete for a water retaining structure?, no wonder building collapse this days. You. Also I guessed in the school you attended also the prices of tile is fixed, i irrespective of the quality. For you information I just completed using both mosaic from GML and 60*60 tile at #9000/sqm and #6000 respectively for a multipurpose hall for a school, I wonder where you got #2000-#2500 bidding rate from My brother that is on field, if you will care to know, I have 13years of on- site experience and I have just completed an Olympic standard swimming pool for a school at Ajah (name withheld), I have pictures from inception till completion, I would have posted them now but the size of each, way too big. So I know what am saying, also am not looking for contracts from anyone, I just decided to add my voice so that someone else can benefit from it. |
After reading through all the comments here, I can but laugh about the cost being speculated. Let us even take a 3m by 7m pool for example. Your excavation cannot be less than 1m offset round the perimeter and the depth of excavation of 2meters. So the area to be excavated is 9m by 5m with a depth of 2m. Volume to be excavated is 9*5*2= 90cubic meter. Three times the volume excavated for a septic tank and the cost if excavating is approximately 40k for septic tank. How on earth will the cost of excavation be 35k. 2)also if your are not doing a beam to receive the slab you will definitely do a screed on the floor to receive you reinforcements for slab to prevent corrosion. A floor screed of 50mm thick. 7*3*/0.05m= atleaat nothing less than 50k will go into this for cement, sand and labour. I even forgot to talk about setting out getting lines pegs and profile boards, nails say 10k. Your reinforcements requirements can't be less than 2tons, and I guessed engineers in the house knows what the cost of a ton is now, and do not forget rebar worker wages. Your concrete requirement is 7*3*.2 =4.2cubic for the slab, while for the Walls is 2(7+3) *2*.23=9.2cubic meter. Total volume if concrete required is 9.2+4.2=13.4 cubic. For grade 30 you cannot get it lesser than 35k/cubic meter. Also whatever type of additive you want to use crystalline is the best type of additive for swimming pools, whether Dr fix it product, concrete logistic or advance concrete product it is very important you add additives to your concrete, less I forget if you want to cast the slab before the Wall you will definitely need water bar as well. Your plumbing works and electrical works skimmers, pipping pumps, filters water treatment etc. This will definitely cost you above a million. For tiling, I saw 150k somewhere ago, what is that for. The floor area is 21 square meter while the Walls is 40square meter, total of 61square meter, you need to factor 5%waste into tiling which brings it to 65squaremeter. For mosaic tile it is about 6000/sqm while for normal 125 by 250mm size you should be able to see 4-5k good Spanish or Italian tile not China. If you do your arithmetic you will have between 300k for tile alone, what of cement, sharp sand for floor screeding, plaster sand for wall rough plastering to receive tile and grouting cement and also labour cost at 800/sqm. The total tiling will be between 500-600k. Also factor in constigency (unforseen expenses) Whichever way it can't cost less than 4million. |
I have worked on a couple of big swimming pool, it not a child's play, a lot of cash has to go into it. I saw earlier post of 500k and 1million, this is far from the truth for any type of pool irrespective of the size. Firstly you will need a foundation beam, which will cost a whole lot of money to receive a pool slab which can never be less than 200mm thick slab over the entire area. Also a concrete wall round it of about 230mm thick since it is a water retaining structure. Additives added into all your concrete mix to seal pores in concrete and prevent both loss of pool water due to seepage and infiltration of ground water into the treated pool water. After all concrete works then tiling after which you will also need a small pump room where the pump will be and the filters. The filtrate units filters dirt by circulating the waters and a wave like pattern will be seen on the waters whenever the pump is on. In all this I don't think you can spend less than 4million irrespective of the size since the cost of everything is very high now. This is my own opinion. |
Pls what size will you recommend for a standard four bedroom flat, what is the price, warranty on it and it durability, and prices of other sizes so as to take a decision. Pls send your reply to olutosinayoola@yahoo.com |
They did exactly the same thing to my wife last year, she was asked $100 but I told her not to give them, she was delayed and she eventually missed her flight, so we reported them that same day to our airline operator who took us to meet the FAAN BOSS on duty that day, she (Immigration official) was asked to foot my hotel bill and reschedule our flight for the next day which she bluntly refused, I had to pay $233 to rescheduled the flight, but she was eventually sacked and my wife's name was pasted at the immigration section that she shouldn't be maltreated subsequently by her colleague. The next time my wife travelled she wasn't even checked at all. Be ready to spend enough time reporting them to FAAN, you are sure of getting justice. |
Its so amazing to see such a physically challenge man preaching the gospel, whereas many off us able body young men and women are wallowing in sin. This is a clarion call on us to change. Remember JESUS IS COMING SOON TO TAKE HIS BELOVED ONES. |
Is the factory in perfect working condition? What the address of the factory? |
