Guys, I tried to know my possible score from the comprehensive ranking system and got a score of 415. I'm 35yrs, with a PhD and a wife with that's 30yrs of age with 2 degrees. IELTS was placed at 6.0 minimum for both with work experience above 5years. What can I do to increase it? Thanks

Only after you have your IELTS test results and WES report can you create your profile.

This put you in the pool along with other candidates. If the ITA scores come down to say 463 then you get your invitation to apply. If it doesn't before the time for the exam then you go ahead and write the exam, proceed to upgrade your Wes report ( adding your new certificate) and edit your previously created EE profile.

Use your wife as primary applicant....ensure you select two or more certificates for her and see what the crs tool brings out.

330 is damn far but I will retake IELTS in due time and try to make the required 8 7 7 7, what I have right now is 8 6.5 6.5 6.
Then use 1 year to obtain CLB 7 in Tef Canada.

Even with all these, my CRS won't be more than 430. Na to start hustling for PNP.

Don't rush to open EE profile, both of you should wait, have your WES and IELTS results in hand before you open an EE profile.

My situation is far worse than yours self but I have a long term plan.

In summary my CRS is just 330, noc is 0621.
I want to use 2021-2020 to master French and attain minimum of CLB 7 in Tef Canada, so that I can look for PNP in a French speaking province or even Try Quebec Immigration.

If I'm still hopeful with my low CRS why shouldn't you be

Create your profile ASAP, you never can tell.
Learning French is no easy fit but it's doable. But be in the pool wit all that you have now then go ahead with learning French, if ITA comes before the French exam then lucky you. If you miss a out on ITA cause you have not created your profile, it would be more painful that anything.

Try and see if making your wife the principal applicant would effect a significant increase in your scores but she has to take another course ( CIIN, CIMA OR BC ) give her equivalent of two or more degree.

Also try to write your IELTS and score maximum point and get into the pool early enough as you never can tell scores might come down ( you are presently 5points short of the present ITA score )

Then there is also learning French option

But I suggest you don't wait - get what you have ready and be in the pool.

i have always thought it was the yorubas(the ones living in Lagos) that first came in contact with the Europeans.

And the Europeans also lived long in YorubaLand(Lagos) before permeating other regions.

They stayed long enough in Lagos to establish the first mission school(Badagry and CMS)...so why weren't their surnames influenced?

An independent panel of experts, headed by former Irish president Mary Robinson, has cleared the beleaguered leader of the African Bank of Development (AfDB) of corruption, according to a report obtained by AFP.
Akinwumi Adesina, 60, a charismatic speaker known for his elegant suits and bow ties, became the first Nigerian to helm the AfDB in 2015.

A 15-page report earlier this year claimed that under his watch, the bank had been tarred by poor governance, impunity, personal enrichment and favouritism.
The panel of three experts, led by Robinson alongside Gambia's Chief Justice Hassan Jallow and the World Bank's integrity vice president Leonard McCarthy, cleared Adesina of all charges alleged by whistleblowers.

"The panel concurs with the committee in its findings in respect of all the allegations against the President and finds that they were properly considered and dismissed by the Committee," Monday's report concluded.

The rollercoaster of allegations has battered the African banking institution and Adesina -- who is the sole candidate for the bank's August's presidential elections -- after the whistleblowers' complaints were leaked to the media in April.
The former Nigerian finance minister had always stated he was "innocent" of the charges.

Robinson -- who led Ireland from 1990 to 1997 before serving as the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights until 2002 -- dismissed the 16 whistleblower allegations against Adesina.

The panel did not investigate the charges themselves, as that was not within their mandate.

The AfDB plays an important if largely behind-the-scenes role in African economies, financing projects in agriculture, health, energy, education, transport and other development sectors.
