That number 3 needs to be discussed properly.. nigerians are thrives, they just don't have the opportunity to steal yet and so they are quick to judge those who do. Nice write-up oo and I believe Lalasticlala will agree this is good content for Monday morning |
Victoria Orenze has declared that only praises and worship can move God to perform mira les and turn the fortune of the country around. This was said at the ongoing worldwide 5F Conference at the Sherperd's Flock International Church, Ikeja. The Alagbada Ina crooner led the congregation as well as Nigerians who tuned in online to an inspiring, spirit filled session of worship. Victoria Orenze is a Nigerian Gospel singer, songwriter, recording artist, stage performer and a spiritual worshipper who is well known for her ability to bring the heavens down with her songs. She believes worship should lead people to Jesus Christ. She is best known for her songs, ‘Covenant Keeping God’, ‘On Fire’ and ‘Brooding’. She featured in Nathaniel Bassey‘s ‘Alagbada Ina‘.

It was glitz and glamour as Fashion stylists and influencers including Teni Oluwo – Style Territory, Temitope Uduak Betiku – Gang Styling and Angel Obasi – Style Connaisseur, joined in to celebrate the launch of BKS Lagos, a premium, high end fashion brand for classy Nigerian women while bringing on their high fashion spirits. The red carpet event was graced by fashion enthusiasts and guests which made the ceremony a colourful display of stunning ready-to-wear pieces and red-carpet signatures. We, at TosteMedia can tell they had a nice outing. Source: https://www.bellanaija.com/2021/08/bks-lagos-launch/

It is finally safe to say the housemates may have finally come out of their shells to give us the best content last night during and after the BBNaija Saturday Night Gordon themed party. Twitter and Instagram users reacted to the expressions and show the housemates gave their fans. Remember him? Divine "I never hexperredit" Oduduru. Yeah, I'm sure you do. Tostemedia is sure everyone laughed at him or made a meme out of his talents. At the end, he's living prove that English doesn't bring food on tables. Skills and persistence does. After enduring the drought of support down here, he accepted a full University of Texas' scholarship; they had scouted and approached him for his talent. Today, in just over a year, he's become the 3rd fastest man in America. While all we got from him was a meme and a skits' staple, by next year at the 2020 Olympics, the USA (most likely) will get medals. Tostemedia urges Nigerian leaders and Nigerians to stop sleeping on our talents. source: Sayo Aluko for Tostemedia Cc lalasticlala

Tostemedia can authoritatively state, in its discovery after visiting some polling centres this morning that some old women and men still trooped out to vote. It looks like they have not heard the press conference about cancellation of election or perhaps, they find it unbelievable. INEC should please do much more than press conferences. Cc lalasticlala

Nigerians are amazing people who have empathy for one another. Forget the media and outsiders' opinion about us. Some men braved and faced a raging fire in a storey building just to rescue three children. TosteMedia rates Mamoudou Gassama's story, the French "spider man" who became an internet sensation after climbing stairs to rescue a boy. However, this is wayyyy different. These guys didn't have water, they came up with a solution in a matter of minutes, they climb a storey building and they rescued all 3 boys unhurt. TosteMedia appreciates their effort and they are our national heroes today. cc lalasticlala

Dangote means well for Nigeria. The African richest billionaire is making plans to make Africa a great continent. He recently just recoup a continuous catalytic regeneration reactor for his refinery in Lagos. That's impressive but not the point we want to make here. However, congrats to him nevertheless. Point is, this huge machine is bigger than an airplane and weighs much more and it needs to be transported from the ship port at Apapa down to Dangote refineries down the south. With all the potholes and go slow on Lagos roads and annoying drivers who would stop to stare at the gigantic Noah's Ark they have probably not seen in their lifetime.. How will this get to its destination without it falling apart? TosteMedia Inc wants to know and we'd be glad if you share your common knowledge and opinion about this. cc lalasticlala

Back to work? Here're 5 quick tips to help you deliver more @ work this year 1) Show up. Like physically and with your mind..dont be mindlessly present.Plan to be in control of distractions this year..phones or whatever else distracts you at those meetings. Participate. Share your view professionally.Use your voice. 2) Read More( sorry there's no short cut) You are what you know therefore you dont know what you dont know.Find news bulletins that bring you a summary of business, poitical, social news..thankfully many of these sites offer whatsapp subcriptions..subscribe, read books; self help..business..pertaining to your work area or otherwise. Join a book club it helps you read or even forces you to. There're many virtual book clubs now. 3) Find a work ally..a 2nd pair of eyes(&head) to run thoughts by. 4) Find a 'thinking time'...this year block out a minimum of 1hour a week in your diary if you can for this. People are increasingly doing more of 'doing' than thinking ..and just having time to think can help you bring more to the table. 5) Keep making demands of your self..challenging yourself as you pack up to go home each day with "what value did i bring to the table today"? Otherwise have a value yielding working year and i hope you find some joy from your work! Written by Nkiru Olumide-Ojo For TosteMedia Inc.
