Dedetwo:
I guess if the demand is so feverish in southwest, the region should have pay all it takes to get the resources from the south east. It is pure silly to talk about GDP when the liquefied gas from south east is shipped either through the ports in Lagos or Ubani (Bonny). The expenses, taxes and levies accrued from ports activities go to home states of ports not the source of state. I want Republic of Igbo land when the sell of gas to Oduduwa should be determined by the willingness of Oduduwa to buy.
Ok. cool

fugarlion:
Afonja sephia pains because Biafrans dominate in education. Days of your propaganda as the most educated without stats to back it up are far gone. SE leads, followed by SS, followed by North Central, By North West, then finally SW and NE. This has been the pattern for years in WAEC and JAMB.
Really, how? cheesy undecided

Amarabae:
does the truth scare you?
by birth and marriage, I am both SS and SE.
stay clear
Hey! Stop disbursing my mention already.
I don't have time for woman talk, I am not interested in whatever region you come from as that's not what the discussion here is all about.

This is not about the region or whatever, I brought that up because it buttresses my points. grin

By the way, it's not Stay clear it is Steer clear

Pipeline label codes are colored green for oil, red for gas and blue for products, such as gasoline, propane and ethylene

Niger delta should be complaining, not you guys
Why are you even bothering yourself over those leeches that only love to receive and not give?

To start with, what's the total revenue or igr of the whole of SE? Breh! It's not even up to half of what SW and SS contribute, and the most annoying part is that, they receive more allocation more than they contribute while the SW receives less than it gives or contributes.

And by the way, what's the tears for when half of their population has relocated to the SW and North respectively? I don't even want to sound logic now or rhetoric in my response to this thread because everything about those leeches is devoid of logic and reasoning.

Bring forth the table of the nation's states igr of each region or stats and let's see how much these leeches contribute and how much they receive monthly/annually.

It's annoying mhen!

The answer to your question is not farfetched.
It's called ' law of demand, dominion, power over SE, and the purchasing power.

I should also add that its obvious that the whole of SE do not have the purchasing power hence (perhaps they are poor), it was moved to the rich SW to help raise imo/SE igr or elevate you out of poverty. grin

So, as you can see? It's all about the money, who can afford your small gas. cool grin

Thank you. cool

All of yoruba land from Lagos to a Kwara/Kogi generates NGN582BN while erosion land adding delta Generated NGN154.5

The statistics pally with the poverty statistics
Yeap. The poverty index tallied with the table; talking about ' the purchasing power, financial strength, and most importantly business opportunities. grin cool

This is just a common sense.

Politics › Re: States’ IGR Hits N1.33trn In 2019, As Lagos Maintains First Spot by totit: 8:13pm On May 22, 2020
Salewa97:
—Southwest without Lagos: 154 billion.
—Southwest with Lagos: 553 billion.

—South-South: 305 billion
—South East: 95 billion

Note: Lagos IGR is generated mainly from PAYE which are paid mostly by civil servants and people working in the formal sector. PAYE constitutes 75% of Lagos IGR.

Fun-fact:
—Do you know Lagos IGR doubled what it receives from FAAC in 2019? No other state in the country can boast of this.

—Do you know Ogun state actually generated more IGR than it received from the FAAC? in 2019 Ogun received 38.7billion from FAAC and generated 70.9 billion in IGR.

—Among all the 36 states, only Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun state generated more from IGR than they received from the Federal Allocation in 2019.
The bolded on red caught my attention the most.

Finally, the truth is come out, the reality, and the real shaker, mover and developer of Lagos economy is here, right here, staring at our faces. grin

And my guy, why separate Lagos from the rest of SW states? After all, we know who dominates the formal sector in lagos. Maka yyy?? grin undecided

Haaa! Afonja with their Lagos-Ibadan express news has come again with their propaganda and evil.

Evil people, Afonja are wicked, they hate us, they are jealous of us because we are superior and have bought all their lands and the whole of Nigeria.
