Dear diary, I'm sorry I've not had anything to say for quite a while. Everyone has been annoying me in this world. Edugie, my mother, Uncle Nathan (that one na constant) Osas and even Pippi.

She finally introduced me to her Ambrose Ali University boyfriend; I just weak for that girl. She didn’t have to tell me, I just knew the boy was a cultist with his red eyes and black lips. God forbid bad thing! I don’t know how she thinks its okay to date someone in his final year when she's still in secondary school! I read somewhere that some girl's who have gone through a traumatic experience such as rape despise men and hate sex - that’s me.

However, I've found the extreme exception to that rule in the person of Philippa Osayande. The other day she asked if I wanted to have a ménage à trios with herself and the Ekpoma boy. At that time, I smiled and didn’t say anything (I just felt it was something silly) because I didn’t know the meaning of that word. Later when I found out what it meant, I was so confused. I didn’t take it serious sha cos I believe she was joking. She jokes a lot these days but sometimes her play is expensive.

For example, just yesterday, she asked if I'd ever enjoyed it anytime Uncle Nathan abused me. I was shocked, so shocked I started crying. She began to apologise but the damage had already been done. Dear diary, she is no longer my friend.

Dear diary, I am tired of apologising for my inability to write down my feelings. It's been a busy period for me. We've just finished our examination and as usual it was very good. I'm expecting a better result this time around; let's say 1st, 2nd or worse case scenario 3rd. Yes it was that good!

I've not spoken to Pippa in over two weeks but she came around yesterday. I was a bit worried but my mother was away so it was okay. She told me she came to say goodbye. For a second, my heart stopped beating until she explained what she meant. She was moving to the boarding house.

Her parents had caught her having sex with the Ekpoma university boy in their house! It was terrible she said. Their judgement was swift and brutal - straight to the boarding house. Pippi is the only child so her parents are a bit strict with her.

I know she hates the boarding house and I felt sorry for her. She started crying like a baby but when my mother began knocking on the gate, she disappeared through the back door. I waited for her to jump over the fence before going to open the gate for my mother. Phewwwwwwww! What a long day; goodnight dear diary.

I apologise for my inability to update for some days now (to be fair I don’t really update weekends unless I have the time). So we continue with the entry from Pamela's diary. It should help explain why certain things happened. @Flakkydagirl I was humbled by your post. Thanks I appreciate.@teamplayer thanks too.
Have a good week everyone!

@daveguy50 sorry about that dude. Listen there was this guy's work that was moved to the sexuality section as well - The Perfect Couple by Frank. Hey I saw the empty thread in the literature section and followed it to sexuality section. It didn’t stop me from following even though I didn’t even know what the story was about while it was in the literature section. I just saw a blank thread with lots of views and I moved. He has readers who went there too and guess what, he now has new followers in that section.

Mazi is writing a story (Crime and Adventure) here and in the sexuality section. When it's time for the explicit content, you go over to sexuality section and read the stuff while it's all clean and dandy in the literature section. Listen don’t sweat the small stuff. I know how annoying it is; I got banned (twice) by the anti spam bot thing and I sent a simple email and got things rectified. I don’t know why you were banned but you will hurt your readers more if you just throw in the towel.

I apologise if I don't understand your peculiar situation and may have spoken out of turn. All the best.

My Best friend Phillipa Osayande

I flipped through more pages and continued to read. I got to the portion when Pippi told me it was Niyi and another man that came to rob. They thought no one was at home but when they discovered she was in, things took a turn for the worse. They led her from one room to the other and ransacked the entire house until they were satisfied. They beat her and promised to come back if she ever said a word. They were already leaving when the other man had an idea; he said Pippi reminded him of his first girlfriend. Then he began to unbuckle his belt.

She begged and pleaded but it happened anyway. She said Niyi advised the man against it but when he refused, Niyi looked away while it happened. Pippi said the worse thing was the fact she lost her virginity in that manner. She was left like that on her own bed with a bloody sheet and legs. The beast left her like that and walked away with a phone, laptops, camera, tablet, her mother's jewellery and some money. They even took her father's wine and brandy from the drinks cabinet!

I was the only one she told about the identity of the thief. I begged her to tell her parents Niyi was one of them but she refused. Her parents are really rich and I knew they would have dealt with Niyi hands down. I could see the pain in her eyes and I knew something had died inside her. She didn’t tell me everything but I knew she had been threatened. Somewhere in my heart, I believe she decided to keep quiet because she was ashamed. It was bad enough the whole neighbourhood knew she had been raped and she didn’t want to add to it by giving out Niyi's name. I sort of understood where she was coming from.

I remember being in shock and for a long time. I’d always felt indifferent about Niyi but now, I hated him and avoided him anytime he came to our house. I knew Uncle Nathan was involved in some bad things but I could not believe he was friends with a person that went around robbing houses on the street he lived!

Uncle Nathan often threatened to kill me if I ever told anyone what he was doing then and now I was further convinced he could have done it. I would later find out that Uncle Nathan was also an area thief. One night I listened quietly as he made plans with Niyi on their next attack that would happen two streets away. They had no idea I was eavesdropping from behind the curtain. That night I was so scared I refused to lock the gate. I simply locked the back door and went to bed. I could not face either of them that night!

I told Pippi about it but she was certain Uncle Nathan was not physically involved in the robbery that took place at her house. It was Niyi and another boy she insisted. The other boy was very tall, dark with pointed nose and he spoke in a high-pitched tone.

I wanna say a big thanks 4d voting on d new writer's thread. I wanna thank everyone who has voted so far. If you never vote go and vote o. LOL

I also want to thank @princesa for this opportunity that has been given to budding writers. I feel like a winner already - merely being recognized is an achievement in itself.

I'd also like to use this opportunity 2encourage other writers especially new ones or those who may sometimes feel overwhelmed - don't give up. Keep doing your thing and be consistent. Learn from others on how to be a better writer but remain true to yourself. A good action packed crime/romance story commands great followership but guess what, if it aint your thing, don't go there. LOL Find your niche and hone your skill.

An Unsolicited Lesson in Parenting

''I came to have a conversation with Pamela. I just needed to tie up some loose ends; it's about the case'' I explained.

''Osas and Edugie, go inside the house and wait for me. Pamela stay put!'' Ms Imade announced.

She waited for some seconds until the younger children had left then she went berserk.

''Mr Officer, what are you still investigating about this case? You people told me at the station, that this case has been solved. So what are you still investigating inside it?''

''Why don’t you ask your daughter once I leave. I believe Pamela has something to tell you'' I looked at Pamela and she lowered her gaze.

''No I'm not asking her, I'm asking you. Tell me what you are doing inside my compound with my teenage daughter?'' she screamed.

''Don’t even go there Ms Imade …''

She moved closer to Pamela and screamed at her ''Pamela what is this man doing inside my compound? What kind of case are you people still judging? You don’t have mouth abi you can't talk again?''

''He was asking me questions about Uncle Nathan and …'' she broke off and began to cry.

''Uhmnn go on, what were the questions'' she asked impatiently.

The next thing I saw was a hand flying down Pamela’s face. The young girl screamed out in pain and covered her cheek with both hands. Ms Imade tried to slap her again but I quickly stepped in and held her hand in mid air while Pamela ran for cover.
