Did you submitted your passport to Lagos VFS? it seems that Lag VFS is not 4 weeks

It depends, sometimes they don't always send

I suggest you also keep tracking your application online

Hi, I just submitted my passports at DHL on the 4th of August. Should I be expecting any mails from vfs or ircc between now and when we get the passport back.
I'd really appreciate a response

Webform to notify of baby: January 11th 2022 (I did my baby’s passport in parallel)
Response to webform from IRCC detailing process: January 27th 2022
GCMS Notes received: February 8th 2022 (everything was fine with our application and it appeared there was a delay because I had notified them about the baby around the time they wanted to make a decision)
Uploaded baby’s passport & birth certificate via webform: May 4th 2022 (someone advised me to do this so IRCC get a nudge)
ADR for Medicals, POF, Upload new forms due to baby: May 27th 2022 (this sort of confirmed my gut feel on the delay)
Remed: June 17th 2022 (I had to email QLIFE to get a date. IRCC did not request for medicals for my baby yet but I still went ahead and did it to avoid another round of delays)
Medicals passed: June 23rd 2022
Submitted ADR to IRCC: June 24th 2022
Confirmation that documents were received: June 27th 2022
PPR: June 30th 2022

I think Nigerians are generally obsessed with qualifications and this is not the same thing in other countries..

Please, I have some questions that will need clarification from the elders in the house.

I am about to start my Canadian pr journey and this has been my plan for years, get the necessary work experience to increase my CRS score, and then start the application process. But recently I have been torn between going for MSc in data analytics in the UK and starting my Canadian pr journey.

My question is, for those that have moved to Canada in the last few years,

1) do you think not having an MSc in your chosen career has affected your chances of getting a job or a better-paying job in your field in Canada?

2) In the data science and analytics field, is MSc important.

I dropped my passport off at DHL on 5th July, got a confirmation on 6th July that it was in transit and dispatched to IRCC office.

However, I got this message on 12th July which I don't really understand - could anyone please assist? It says received at Canadian Visa Application Center at Ghana OC, then again it will be sent to Canadian Visa Application Center at Ghana OC

Visa application, tracking ID No. The envelope for the decision on the results of your visa that has been processed has been received at the Canadian Visa Application Center at Ghana OC, on the date. We will then send this to the Canadian Visa Application Center Ghana OC Your decision envelope will be returned to you via the courier service offered by the VAC. Collection of decision envelopes in-person at the VAC is not permitted until further notice. Please refer to the ¿Buy Services¿ page of the VAC website for further information on courier services offered by the VAC

You shouldn't need this to fill the webform. I don't recall this.

I suggest you assume anything and put it there. You will still be sent a long list of forms and documents to upload eventually.

Good morning all, wishing us all a fruitful Friday.

Please I am experiencing a bit of challenge while trying to add my baby with the documents I have. While filling the webform, I was asked for the processing office and I have no idea.

Please, for those that are in my current situation or understands my challenge, please how do I navigate this.

It's urgent I add my baby as soon as possible to avoid delay with the application processing.

Please, what do I do? I have requested a friend to help me request for GCMS notes but he has not been successful with that yet. He is a Canadian citizen.

Medicals are part of the list of requirements to submit your PR application after receiving your ITA

..Congratulation..I pray that your new country will favour you greatly ..I have a question with regards to MEDICALs. Was it IRCC that adviced you to take the initial medical or you just followed the tide of the moment and do Medical?

Secondly, at what point in the application processing does IRCC usually request for MEDICALs? is it immediately at the point of accepting your ITA or many months down the line?
