"If you are emotionally attached to your
tribe or political leaning to the point that
truth and justice becomes secondary
considerations, your education is useless.
Your exposure is useless. If you cannot
reason beyond petty sentiments, you are a
liability to mankind."
~ Dr. Bala Usman |
Camp commandant ho don test run her puna. |
zarakay:ask south Africans, even day old, is a go for them. |
RisMas:nobody blames islam its d mentality they don't like. Trumps wife shook hands with Saudi King and they were almost castigating him, like they know d religion better than those who brought it to them. |
Right now am still battling with body ache. |
He created nothing, not even simple menial job for he's captives ( Ilorin ppl), he's just a politician who delights in pauperising his ppl especially d Ilorin ppl. Very soon d state would no longer b kwara state but saraki state. |
Yesterday, I boarded a car from okin motors garage, from Ilorin to Zaria. I was charged #5500, and as expensive as d price was I remained unperturbed cos I was much more concerned about getting to my destination on time . As u all know NRTWU rules wen travelling in a Sharon car d sitting arrangement is 3 per row, but my row was 4 wch even contradicts there motto:"Your Comfort and Safety are our Concern,". Talking about safety they gave us a driver who could only move a car but do not know d route to Zaria. our sojourn was marred first with a flat tire, after we escaped d burst we realised our driver had no spare, he had to remove d bad one for repair. secondly d head light was not good and it was raining, wch he almost ran us off d road. thirdly we left Ilorin around 9am only by God's grace we made it to Zaria at 10: 40 pm. please this is not to rubbish okin motors but a call to live by ur motto: YOUR COMFORT AND SAFETY ARE OUR CONCERN. As for me I think train is not just an option but my best choice at d moment. |
pautex:pls take a second look this guy has something in his hand, I think he's holding his purse or so. At first I tot it was conji but now I can see clealy some ppl just like to paint others black. |
[quote author=seunmsg post=56421047]Yes, we are more divided but the reasons for the division should also be said. A group of people have decided not to move on because their candidate lost. Some even went as far as agitating for secession just because they don't like the face of the president. So, how do you unite a people that don't want to be united? For some of us, we are no longer concerned. Those who want to wail over electoral loss till 2019 can go ahead. Others are strategising ahead of 2019 and some people are busy attacking others instead of building bridges. At the right time, water will fund its level. [/quote call them by their names IGBO ppl any bastard can disprove me. |
TheLogicalMind:love the irony though. |
Henrydone:Right now I feel like dancing to Dat song: Ajeku iya in yo je 2x eni ti o Toni na tin denor deni, Ajeku iya ni o he. pls let dem know wan kere si number wa 3x awan omode wanyi kere si number wa. |

omaguibu:E.g. " I don't like money"......... Ameachi. Abeg who no like money, even witch they hustle for am...... |
successmatters:miserable bigot. Snake, ppl like this r d ones agitating for Biafra but they would never step their foot on d soil, but choose to die in Lagos yet u hv d wits to talk abt d west. pls remember DAT d sun rises in d East and sets in d west. muturu, note that u comparing Awoo intelligence to that Biafra warlord who ran away and left alot of Igbo's to die is an insult; or comparing Nnamdi KANU to any Yoruba hero is not just an Insult but an affront on d Yoruba ppl, and must b addressed. |
y we like copy copy. |
Nigerian lecturers are Cramer's, dey don't develop themselves talking about being empirical, all dey dish out in class is text book answers. They r very good st solving examples from text books I mean copy solved examples while u solve internet question wch they already hv answers to. if na lie ask Chinese guy for mechanical engineering. A......... Our lecturers are far worst than d politicians we condemn today. |

FemiFimile:Yes it happened in Ogun but d evil was perpetrated by an IGBO man named, Ifeanyi Ajaero for allegedly chaining his 28-old -wife, Obiageli Ajaero. pls read before u conclude. |

Neoguru4:I think say d man too do but e b like wetin him do na blessing to them. Haba bros for this recession u wan give them half salary. Dem tell u say na their hair or na borrow put wch cost not more than 3k. in my own candid opinion the commandant was just bin nice, this is a code dey knew and they all signed up for. |
yeye lawyer wait make he move ur money before u talk about fundamental rights, he knew d penalty and yet like u said compromise their money, or hv u forgotten that in that money salaries will b paid, many families depend on that for survival, but greed would not allow him so e decided to move their money. Guy I trust nija police them for don compromise him health status with kondo, knack am "talk true" well well. No wonder our Grand Pas r still ruling this country because d leaders of tomao r already corrupted, greedy and rotten to d core. |
StraightSetter:my point is simple a Man's grades has little to do with his/ her destiny. permit me to tell u all little story about a dropout wen we wre young d young boy then was called olodo but today his a qualified panel beater he has 3 cars running our roads raking In money, but most of his peers that went to school still padding from office to office in search for Job with their 2.1 cgpa |
In college, it's all about grades. In the real
world, it's about experience, balls and drive.
Because once you get past the first job, no
one is ever going to ask you about your
GPA or how you did on that Psych 215
final. What matters in the real world is your
ability to adapt, innovate and get along.
There are no scantron sheets or essay
exams. There are no TA’s to hold review
sessions or to help you practice your
presentation. Real life is about how well
you can bullsh*t your way through it, and
that's not something taught in a classroom
The greatest thinkers, leaders and
entrepreneurs of our time have been the
men to defy the rules and take risks. They
were the ones getting C's or flunking out.
However, their “failures' were not a factor
of intelligence, but an inability to be
weighed down by grades and superficial
markings. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and
Richard Branson , are just a few of the men
who achieved unfathomable amounts of
wealth, status and success without ever
really succeeding in a classroom. They are
the men, that by society’s standards, had
failed.
With their passion and intelligence, they
were able to change the world with nothing
more than a bachelor’s degree and a
transcript of failing grades (sometimes not
graduating at all). These men understood at
an early age that just because society, and
everyone around them, placed an excessive
amount of importance on grades didn’t
mean they were right. |
success is HARD WORK, SACRIFICE AND PERSEVERANCE, all these I believe u don't need any grade to qualify for. There are many successful people who do not own a degree. They just work really hard and aimed for one vision = SUCCESS. With this, they sacrifice and do whatever it takes to be successful and what they have been dreaming of. However, this does not mean that one may not study hard, we need proper education still. just because they were poor in academics doesn’t mean that they cannot be successful. There are several great personalities who were failures at first but then became a success, gained fame and glory. For eg: Albert Einstein… he was poor in academics and got scolded by teachers a lot. They even said that he wouldn’t amount much to life. But he went on to develop many theories in physics, especially the theory of relativity and E = mc^2 which is known as the most famous equation in the world. He even received the Nobel Prize for Physics. If one wants success, one has to have basic knowledge, willpower, responsibility, common sense, leadership skills, capability to think and reason with and competitiveness, for, it is not only the good academic grades that can pave your path to success, but these factors too. Not all jobs require great grades. Not all IPS and IAS officers have great grades. Not all engineers and doctors are rank holders, yet they have made a success out of their lives. Though that doesn’t mean that we don’t need to study or get good grades. But, its not the only thing required for success. It is one among the many factors for being successful…. A successful entrepreneur, has an understanding of how to make a buck. They possess the talent of taking in a buck and turning it into ten. Some may have gotten Cs and Ds in high school, but they might be the ones who can think ahead and earn the maximum profit. So, I’ll say, good academic grades is only one of the factors and not the only factor that makes us successful in life. |
