I keep telling ppl marriage no get manual. Some months back we had this debate about getting the right woman in most cases na luck.
Imagine our fathers, they never attended any marriage counseling yet no divorce. On the contrary today we pass through 6months of marriage counselling and yet divorce few yrs down the line.
I wish it works out like a movie script with a happy ending but life is not a nollywood script were u can tell how the end looks like.
From her narration its a no no from me. But we dont know if the guy is industrious and learned, cos some broke guys only need a push and they will light up the whole place.

I'm truly in love with this guy. We are happy together: Love they say is blind, but marriage na eye opener.

Even though I'm a born again Christian, this is one of the reasons I think islamic marriage is better than Christianity. In Islam you are allowed to marry as many as you want which makes the importance attached to women drastically reduced. We Christians need to stage a protest against marrying one wife. Marrying one wife is parasitic while polygamy breeds competition among women with each and every wife trying to outdo each other in pleasing their husband. Majority of the stupid laws protecting women are from Christian countries, you can never find such in Muslim nations yet they have a more prosperous marriage than we Christians do
