You have a good point, but i think till we get rid of so many ideologies, and sayings, many marriages are doomed be4 they even started.
Cos men will always go, woman will always go and na padi go remain, that is not enuf to to give the woman/man enuf chances to see how it will work out, once a man or a woman enter into a relationship with plan B, plan A will surely fail, mind you, i am talking to myself too when i say this.
i think it is time we all have the mind that marriage is to work out and till do all possible.

Doctors could advice plain first especially if they think u are having difficulties with the plain ones firstly.
I used plain ones for a while then ,now i have 2 others.Light brown and grey, both medicated cos i am very short sighted.

I will suggest Oracle, No matter what people/organisation will always manage db. I have certificate in SQL and can use Mysql very well. Still opting for Oracle.

I currently use SQL and Oracle at work. they both work together. I use SQL for the query and Oracle to key in the datas.
pretty good.

I just wonder how people make their face up.

I love the Yoruba's regards for humanity evident in their numerous modes of greeting, the Yoruba language has a greeting for someone who is just standing on his own!

I also like the way they have a set of prayers for every occasion, birthdays, graduation, promotion, etc
It was the usual thing for you to be woken up on your birthday in a Yoruba home with a well structured and pleasant series of prayers, that enough makes your day!

I like the way they show appreciation, you would be greeted for a week for any little thing you did for a Yoruba person.

I like the Yoruba sense of diplomacy, every message or expression has to be delivered in a way that is not offensive to the receiver. It is when diplomacy has failed that the abuses surface


I used to take all this for granted until I moved to another place where these things are considered an extra burden also when I realised that I had nothing to offer my son on his birthday than the usual 'Happy birthday' and maybe a few prayers in English and believe me it is not the same!

Well you're right. You need to move out to realize what a culture you have learnt. My daughter's teacher always comment on my daughter's respectful atitude in class. She's just 4yrs.
An assistance teacher came one day to cover up for her teacher and I was amazed when she called me aside and told me she appreciate the way I'm raising my daughter. She said she never met a kid her age this respectful. ( she's a white )
